Aside from all the utility in business and other fields of profession, following your channel and reflecting on communication helps me to better understand the surrounding world. It places me more into reality. Have you ever thought about it that just like an outlook on life as religion or political philosophy helps you to 'grasp' the world around us, understanding communication does the same in, perhaps a more neutral way?

I know what you mean. When I started studying communication (as an undergrad) it really opened my eyes to how relationships, workplace, and society functioned. I think of communication concepts/theories/research as a lens, a powerful lens we look through to view and explain how our world is shaped.

@@alexanderlyon I've noticed a big overlap with my marriage and family relationships.
Toastmasters and studying speech has helped me immensely over the years. Kudos for spreading the benefits of public speaking!
Thank you, Professor Alex! Really helpful, and I can't agree more.
Confession time coach. I've been watching your videos for a while now. I just had a big ah ha moment. I just started a family teaching thing about a month ago. I didn't associate speaking to my wife and kids with out taking in consideration that they are the most important people in my life. I've been teaching what I want more than what maybe more relevant them. Now I have a practice audience too. Thank you coach.
Thanks Alex - for allowing access to a lot of valuable information in form of dowloads. Bless You!
Thank you Alex. Just got promoted at my job and I’ll be watching a lot of your videos to help me be a good leader.
Brother, I love your videos and I use them often in the speech classes I teach in my HS.
Thankyou for your informative teaching on Public Speaking tips! Very helpful 👌

Thanks Alex. Great practical points
OMG it's just like listening & watching Thomas Roberts, exact same speech & mannerisms, both so calming & soothing to listen too. And very informative to boot, learning lots. This is my 2nd video this morning & I just subscribed.
Impressive , thank you Alex.
This really resonates with me, thank you for sharing this. I just got my download too! I'm looking to grow my public speaking career and have built a platform as a podcaster and radio show host over the last two years. I'm ready to launch into public speaking and doing live podcasting events. Excited to dive into your content!
Glad your station popped up. This is great!
I agree with the parallels between leadership qualities and how public speaking can help develop those. Good nuggets in the video to think about as I present on the job. Thank you!

Thank you
By any chance could u do a video explaining how introverts can have an easier time talking w/ others + some tips and tricks that introverts can implement. I would love to know how introverts can be a little more talkative. Thx.
Thanks

Glad you enjoyed it, Mike.
Good preso! Your delivery makes what you say very easily digestible. But man... Ditch the pocket square. I had to do it with my pocket watch. It's too archaic and makes your info seem outdated, like your accessories. Just some feedback I had to take to heart. It worked amazingly.
Can you address the challenges of public speaking in a job interview context, please?
Alex thank you for this video, please post more videos about - Charisma - Persuasion by Character - Cicero (On the Ideal Orator) THANK YOU

Cicero. Now that got my attention. The intriguing word alone, happens to be one in a past production i was part of. The description of it further intrigued. Yes please, another vote here on this comment's suggestions!
Another thing I asked myself. How can I be an effective leader if I can't first lead and teach my own family. Until I started watching your videos I never saw myself as a leader. Thank you again coach maybe someday my kids will thank you 😊 as well.

Can you do a video on Michael Jackson's interview with Oprah from 1993....it was MJ's first major interview and a lot of people thought that Oprah was very disrespectful in it
I am open for any public speaking engagements in Western Europe regarding Microsoft Project, Power BI or Project for the web 😀 just putting that out here if I may
How is it that sometimes youtube will translate video titles into my native language and your channel is one of those where that constantly happens? Is that an option for creators or something like that? It's weird.
now this is good sht

Thank you, Nathan.
Maybe do a break down of Amber Heard and Johnny Depp. I think they both did wrongs. Btw, I have tried practicing some of the tips you mentioned in this video. I had a friend tell me she would follow me because I sound like I know my stuff(sh*t). As well I show confidence in what I say, thanks. God bless you.

You briefly mentioned the topic, of making the audience believe what you're saying, essentially, the outline and narrative. In essence, if you're ratcheting up the ladder, you'd best make the spiel sound believable, after all, even if you know it's bs, and you can convince the audience to buy into whatever you're selling, will reflect on your resume and paycheck.. Needless to say, today's ethics has no bounds when it comes to pumping out shit for people to swallow, while motivation is the prime objective, it's usually done with nefarious intent.. "The bottom line" sometimes it takes this nessessary poison, I'm meant position, to indoctrinate the workforce or the stooges to carry out the plan.. I call this, the setup.. oh, and make sure you're enthusiastic about whatever program you're peddling, that way, when you go home at the end of the day, you can pat yourself on the back when the bonus comes in.. And that my friends will make you a great leader, while building character and walking over ashes of those who couldn't cut it in the speech dept..you'll look good in that new office, while Ole Charlie grits his teeth asking himself why he was passed over 15 yrs in a row... Not to worry though, Charlie will be busy at his desk, while you're hard at work on the golf course with the boss working on the next program, rather outline.. In anycase, the world needs speakers, motivation therapist's, sales people spokespersons.. thumbs 👍 Alex ..
