And you can make full use of those skills each and every day as a parent. Nicola Winter shows you five principles of the military that can also be used in parenting. Nicola was an officer and a fighter pilot in the German Air Force for almost 14 years and the second woman to fly fighters in Germany. While she flew Tornados and Eurofighters, she acquired a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Aero-, Astrospace Engineering entirely through distance education. She left the Air Force as a major and has become a parent since while now pursuing her PhD in Space Science.
