A lot of players get way undervalued only because they are 2-3 years older.

Markquis Nowell was a crazy underrated pickup for the raps, he’ll be ready to prove everyone wrong, one of my personal favorite college players last year
Tshiebwe seems most likely to carve out a career, he's 23 which is not really that old and he averaged almost 14 rebounds per game, which is phenomenal and NBA coaches love strong rebounders, it can make up for a lot of other deficiencies. His 16 pts. per game really isn't bad so there is offensive potential there also. He could be kind of a blend of Dennis Rodman and Zach Randolph, a guy who can carve out space around the basket to get rebounds, but unlike Rodman, score a little also and be better defender than Zebo.
The strange thing is, Drew Timme would've been drafted in the lottery back in the 90's but now they want all these young 19 year old one and doners.

you are so right on this! it’s quite disappointing bc i feel (my opinion) is that two years in college should be mandatory. for instance Council iv was a junior and was supposed to be a 6 man. but when nick smith jr and brazile went out with injury. he took over. became the leading scorer and was the only player that Mussleman played 40 min on over 10 plus games. anthony black is a great point guard but i still think he smith jr and walsh really needed another year. but hey when they throwing millions at you what u gonna do 😂😂
I have not watched it yet but I know it will be a banger video!
Timme wasn’t seen as an nba level pro due to being only 6’8.75 barefoot and playing the Center position while being a back to the basket scorer and mediocre defensively even at the college level

I think a big man like jake stephens from chattanooga/ VMI has a better shot to find a place in the league than timme or oscar. at least think his game translates much better. Can shoot the 3 really well, great passer, can at least protect the rim on the defensive end. He just lacks agility.
@eggsngritstn

Right, that defense is the big issue, IMO. Also, teams like Baylor in 2021 shut him down with their NBA-style defense. He's just not that strong. Hard to be a 6'9" post player who gets pushed around.
I’m surprised you never mentioned Markquis Nowell after what he did to Kentucky in March Madness against Cason Wallace who is regarded as one of if not the best defensive PG’s in this years draft.

In Timme's case, i think that with all that hair and head -band, he looks like Jackie Moon from the movie Semi Pro. He got that early 70's vibe going.
Also I don't blame scouts for nor looking at Timme, they still remember Adam M
Oscar went to my school and oh my gosh he was a great player he transferred to another school and I remember before he transferred I saw a shooting free throws and he shot 200 and did not miss. Hope it translates.

The Video has the Wrong Title. IT should be "5 Players who are Ready for the HEAT" 😁
"17 points a greem" lmao 🤣
I think Timme will be solid in the league, but he definitely wasn’t getting drafted due to his age
I think Timme wasnt drafted because he is a post player, but his footwork appears sharp but is actually very sloppy; he shifts his feet a lot, and in the NBA, he could easily be targeted by refs for easy travel calls

Oscar just signed a 2 way player deal with Indiana pacers
Finally, someone I can agree with. I’m not saying these guys are going to be stars, however they are be great contributors to certain teams. Timme seems to me like one of those guys who are just basketball players. Good luck to all of them.
There were a few dudes I was really surprised to see go undrafted, then there were also some names I had never even heard of that did get drafted.
Oscar Tshiebwe was robbed the most and it literally makes zero sence, I am confused how he did’nt make the draft should of been him in 1st round, just so stupid. 😢😢😢 All of these players in this video were robbed hard 😡😡😡
@WCPFISH

weak offense, under-sized for his position, can't defend pick and roll, and couldn't make it work at WVU where there is zero pressure.
Nice presentation. It's funny how much age, and lask of stats in one key area can hold a guy back.
I think if Drew Timme can just become slightly more athletic and a little bit better to at least respectable from three, he could be a total steal. He does so many things. Well, I understand the things that he does well are not desirable in todays three point dominated league the dude would probably have been a top-five pick 20 years ago but I think he can definitely carve out a great career.

I hope so man! I’m pulling for him been watching him since his ballislife vids
Well, Jokic was next to last picked for all star game. Some lessons are learned the hard way.
I feel like if you're a front office and has a lottery pick and 2nd round pick, you can allocate your lottery pick on potential and best player available then for the 2nd round pick, you can go for those older players that already has the skills and fundamentals so they can help you from the get go.
what preparation did you do for this video? It's a good list, but this was all decided yesterday. Chicago has Sanogo and the 76ers got Terquavion Smith AND Ricky Council IV... Oscar went to the Pacers, Drew Timme signed with the Bucks. Like I said, it's a good list, but why didn't this come out yesterday instead of a few hours ago. I like what Chicago and the 76ers were able to do with overlooked talent
Tshiebwe was a defensive liability at Kentucky which doesn't bode well for his NBA chances as a limited scorer. He might be able to learn but he's slow in space and there are significantly better rim protectors.

There’s no perfect player in NBA, they all have their weaknesses, Thiebwe will have his chance to join a team
@swaymcthunder1219

@@Kabaselefh This dude is right about him. His pick and roll defense is awful, its gotten him benched many times against certain teams. NBA.. that is going to be a huge problem. All he can do is grab rebounds. I think he has an extremely tough path to get there, and i would think someone like jake stephens has a better shot to find the league than oscar.
Generally the teams see that they dont have the exceptional things that they want before anyone else, the undrafted peps save them much more $$$
I don’t understand that post drill Timme was doing in the video. The guy is effectively fake guarding him. As soon as Drew makes his move the 2K blow bye animation triggers 🤣. How can you gauge how effective your footwork and first step off the footwork is when you the guy is giving you whatever you want?
3:17 “17 points per greem” lol
Sixers had no draft picks, but ending up signing terquavion and ricky council. Feels like they got steals i would've been happy with them as draft picks
Crazy how in nearly every Timme clip he travels by moving his pivot. Was a big issue in college that got exposed in MM this last year.
One of these guys will be starting for the Heat in the Finals next year
Oscar will definetely get signed by a team, at least a team knows exactly what they getting with him. Strong rebounder, he's a Damian Jones type of player, he can help now.
As a sixers fan, I was very excited to hear that we got Ricky Council and Terquavion Smith, they seem to be really good players that will contribute to a (hopefully) title run
@busterboyd4125

Take it from someone who watched about every NC State game the last 2 seasons - Terq Smith will likely not play much outside of the G League. He lacks strength and is easily pushed off his line. He's just okay at defense. He takes tons of bad shots. He needs a LOT of strict coaching to break him of his bad habits. For him to play any significant role on an NBA team, he would have to gain 25 lbs of muscle and remold himself as a completely different player. I just don't see those changes being easy for him.

Clearly Oscar and Timme want to win championship in college basketball 🏀
I hope these guys thrive in the lameBA. No disrespect to the players, just disrespect for how much the game has changed.
There’s Difference between being a good college player and a good pro
I really like 3 players that went undrafted: Terquavion Smith, Ricky Council and Ąžuolas Tubelis. All of them got signed by the 76ers
who ever picks up Sanogo will get a STEAL.
How nuts players stay in college and get undrafted.. I like Oscar and Timmi. Folks missed these two.. hard to believe they were not drafted..
I wonder what criteria team uses when drafting a player. For example UConn teammates Andre Jackson (6.7 Ppg, 6.2 Rpg, 4.7 Apg). Adam Sanongo (17.2 Ppg, 7.7 Rpg, 1.3 Apg). How in the world did Andre Jackson get drafted over players like Sanongo, Drew T, and Oscar T????
It happens when a class is as loaded w/ talent as this and there are only 58 draft picks.
If Drew Timme could shoot he would have been drafted in the 2nd rd and be a Kevin Love/ Vucevic lite
Goodness ... how did Oscar not get drafted? Congrats to all the RAZORBACKS! 🤠

cant score at the next level, or college for that matter. His defense is bad, but in particular is pick and roll defense is what got him benched at times. He is going to get absolutely torched at the next level there. Oscar, tbh, never had a real shot to get drafted. All he can do is rebound and this isnt the 90s.

Probably he is 26/27 yo
Some of these older players are ready to contribute right now on a NBA roster compared to some of the younger players that got drafted. But NBA executives can’t pass up a young talented player who may not be ready yet but will be in the future.
A good Undrafted player I like.. would be Marquis Nowell only thing holding back is his size but I believe could be a good rotational player because his speed & skill
Let’s go Timme hope u ball out!!!
OSCAR TSHIEBWE .. ADAMA SANOGO .. DREW TIMME WILL BE BETTER NBA 🏀 THAN GUYS THAT ACTUALLY GOT DRAFTED ..
What do you think about Markquis Nowell? Can he make it to the league being undersized?
If they are for real good, we'll probably see them on a Miami roster in the coming season. We need athletic bigs and wing players who can shoot and D.
I wish all these young men well…….can’t believe Drew Timmie didn’t get drafted…..I thought I knew this game🙄
Terq Smith I almost feel like pulled an Austin Reaves and told teams not to draft him if he wasnt going first round. Like the guy was seen as potential lottery at the start of the year and he certainly fell off a bit but to undrafted is so qild.
Got to remember guys 2 or 3 picks was forfeited due to violations so 2 people could of easily got picked up
The NBA in this last draft showed loud and clear that they valued outside shooting above maybe everything else in terms of skillsets. Otherwise there is no way a Brandon Podziemski gets drafted 19th overall, after being recruited by Illinois but basically getting no playing time his freshman year with them, and then he transfers to a mid major in Santa Clara where I think he averaged over 18 to 20pts/game, with a majority of those points coming from outside shooting, and he goes in the draft before Tshiebwe and Timme and legendary college players like that, because he is better outside shooter than they are. All the NBA wants to do is shoot 3s nowadays.
@dennistang5935
10 ай бұрын
Tshiebwe and Timme are both slow footed and can't defend. Postups aren't that efficient so there's no use for them. Jahlil okafor averaged 17 at duke as freshman and is out of the league - that's the standard you have to beat.
Shocked how Timme didn’t get selected, but a person who scored 8pts/game but with potential gets picked up
I actually wanted the Suns to draft Tshwiebe. Throw him out there and ask him to only rebound. Just body up bigs and rebound. That's it.
@swaymcthunder1219

His pick and roll defense is going to be such a huge liability in the NBA. he literally got benched at college against certain matchups because of it. This is a whole other beast where almost every team relies on pick and rolls. He is gonna have a lot of issues at the next level that his great rebounding skill will bail him out. This isnt 90s basketball.
Ricky Council IV and Sanogo are beasts.
Drew Timme definitely should be in mix. I’m also rooting for Tyger Campbell from UCLA - short but savvy.
Oscar - offensively he had trouble with some of the taller big men in the sec. He is relatively short for an NBA post player without deep range. That being said, he works hard, and in post game interviews always seems upbeat and grateful. As a KY fan I hope he gets a chance. He seems like the type of player that would be good on a second team ( hint Miami- to go with fellow alum - Bam )
@Catto77

I hate Kentucky as a tennessee fan, but I can't argue with what you said, and he always plays with his heart. I hope he gets a chance too.
These good thing is that now they have something to prove. Oscar would fit on the Kings because they need someone whose role is to snatch rebounds. They have plenty of shooters.
1:10 "hurdicle" new word for the dictionary
Being like Bones Hyland is not a great thing. Hyland’s most notable NBA achievements include quitting on the Nuggets, selfishly forcing his shot while lacking the vision to actually set up teammates (see job description for point guard) and lacking the smarts to fit in to a team that won a championship.
Where is Marquis Nowell ???
@jarrettchristensen_music
10 ай бұрын
I would have him on this list instead of Tshiebwe. Tshiebwe was the most overrated college player the last 2 seasons.
I hope Cam Whitmore and Nick Smith Jr both prove the teams that passed on them wrong.
teams are drafting what they hope will become star players...a few gims will work out and some will not....some of the guys not drafted will work their way onto a team....but teams are going for young guys who they hope to develop
Did he just make up a word? Lol "Hurdicle"
Being a free agent can be better for some players then being a late second rounder
the NBA is crazy in drafting Guards!! almost all are guards lmao
I think Markquis Nowell will be another good one for the Toronto Raptors especially with their record of developing undrafted players.
If you need anymore evidence that the NBA is a nightly three point shooting contest...this is it! Tshiebwe and Sanogo would be starters on NBA teams of the past and Drew Timme is Kevin McHale with a thicker body. C'mon man,on what planet does not drafting some of NCAA Div. I best known and most talented players make sense? You can clearly see by the recent free agent contracts that were given to some very average borderline talented players that there are MANY front office people in this league who don't have a clue!
How about Azuolas Tubelis?
I can't believe Drew Timme didn't get picked up. He was in a sense Mr. March Madness the last few years.
Youu didn't mention Colin Castleton who I heard went to the Lakers.
Can make an assestment of Kai Sotto Chance to get pick up by NBA teams? Will appreciated if you cam spend time to learn his story, he was Undrafted during 22/23 Draft, continue to work his craft in Autralia's NBL. He also joined the Japan B league to prepare for the SummerLeague, he was invited right now by the Orlando Magic to join the summerleague Squad, he did join a mini camp with the Jazz, Mavs and Knicks. Thank in advance
We talking about guys who were undrafted who haven’t even even played? This is just this guy’s personal opinion. I got mine too.
If Jahliel okafor and luka Garza couldn’t make it in the league, then there’s absolutely no possible way timme can. Buddy better learn Chinese
How do you win th national title and win the MVP and not even get invited on the draft night let alone getting drafted. What a freaking thing to do smh. My brother Adam is going to do well, his work ethic is unmatched
These NBA Teams would rather Draft these young unproven kids over a solid NCAA Player. You'll be lucky to see two of these kids in the 1st round to amount to anything.
your take on Javan Johnson?
There will always be anomalies but if they were that good, they’d have been drafted

True and half the second round won’t player more than a season. The NBA is more competitive than ppl realize
Oscar is the best rebounder in 50 years, but he never mastered the outside shot so he could play the 4 in the pros. That leaves him as a very undersized center who will dominate the glass but badly fail to protect the rim against other bigs. This is why both his Kentucky teams had poor postseason results.
D’moi Hodge is gonna be a piece for the Lakers
I was looking for these players to in the first round. If I was a contending team I would have jump herdals to get these proven players. The Four year player knows how to play.
It’s crazy how mfs got drafted from that weak ass overtime league based off potential when in every clip no defense was being played, but then u have drew timme an outstanding college player undrafted, when did potential start outweighing actual play.

Bigmen are either too high of a prospect or too low.
You should really watch Nadir Hifi, not a crazy potential but already way better than all these guys
Drew Timm travels on every play
Lmao called it
Timme has a small 4 body but wants to play like a 5. The NBA wants their 3 and 4 players to be able to face the basket and shoot. That's Timme's weakness. His 3-point shooting was terrible last season. Timme fit in well at Gonzaga because he didn't have to face many powerful big men. Sanogo is similar to Timme.
