I discovered this channel no more than three days ago and I must admit to being genuinely surprised at how fascinating I find these odd little stories from the lives of complete strangers. I honestly thought I had found a fairly run-of-the-mill "ghost story" channel, but after the first story (can't remember the first video I watched) or two I was getting ready to switch, thinking I had stumbled upon a channel consisting mainly of millennial/gen Z girls sharing gossip or weird nothings that many women that age are wont to do (if this offends, it's my honest observation). Getting round to the conclusion of my point, I am happy to have found your videos. They are a diverse collection of odd, scary and uncanny personal anecdotes which remind me that the world is a bizarre place and things like psychopaths and supernatural synchronicities are much more common than we might routinely think.

Hi Raven. Happy Anniversary to you and Patience. I hooe you two have many more happy years together. My husband and I got together when I was 16 and he was 17 and on April 12th we just had our 36th year anniversary. I remember how cool it was to say we'd been together half our lives. Plus with dating the way that it is and all the horror 😉 stories I've heard we're always saying how happy we're that we dont have to date. I enjoyed the video. Great job as always! You did ger me in the beginning wgen the video started i thought somehow I'd missed the intro and had to rewind. I was thinking oh that's weird, but decided I must be thinking wrong. I was glad to find out I wasn't. It'll be interesting to see if it makes a difference. Take care, i hope you two enjoy your anniversary and have a great weekend!

Thank you, I'm glad to not be in the dating world, and to have not been in it for a long time... I've read too many horror stories about dating 😂 And as for the intro thing... It's just a test really. I don't think it'll make much of a difference but it's worth trying. I'm think of doing the intro 1/3 vids? Maybe? Or I'll just go back to it and keep doing it for every video 😅

For everyone out there a good, reliable background check in the US costs ~$50 - $75, possibly more if they've moved around a lot. Yes, you can do some, maybe all of it for free, which is fine if they're not grifty AF. The second they start talking about financial difficulties, before they even start dropping hints of needing you to help them, do a thorough background check. And OP from Story 2, please don't feel bad about getting conned! People like this literally spend their whole lives practicing how to manipulate and fool people, and it's happened to all of us in some way, shape, or form. You're not stupid; you're kind & generous and she took advantage. Don't lose those positive qualities because a few people are bad, just, getting any agreements in writing and do a background check. I'm sorry you went through this!

Romance scams are a BIG thing- I've watched a ton of Kitboga and I've seen him get wrapped up with romance scammers overseas. I'm just shocked that this one went this far... getting physical with the other person is not a common thing. But I completely agree... Don't think that all people are like this because of the actions of a few. Very well said.

When you question something about someone you just meet and it is coming from a gut feeling GET IT! YOUR GUT WILL NEVER PROVE WRONG. I'm a prefect example of that. I've been screwed so many times by others friends ex boyfriends, even a family member. Not i don't trust anyone except 2 friends I've known for 35 years my dad brothers and their wives. It sound like a lot but it's not. All yourself how many people are you currently trusting in any way.

I absolutely do agree- But you have to remember that a lot of this is hindsight, and some people do end up in situations where they don't see the red flags in time. I'm sure all of these people would certainly do things differently if given a second chance.

@@AsTheRavenDreams I absolutely agree that's why I say I've been screwed over so many times that any time I even met someone I hold them at arms length (so to speak) and I pay attention to everything - details. But when you are in my past positions now you see if you get any guy feelings. But all my trust in anyone stopped at about 25 I'm 45 now. It usually takes a few times a being really screwed over to start paying attention.

I'm just going to say that my husband was exactly like him. You never have a relationship that lasted up to a year. When we started dating he chased me around I wasn't I didn't want anything to do with datingI was good at that time with Nana this is not about my story so I'm not going to say about that part. When he started chasing me we were actually 32 but we were friends he was the first person that I could talk to about my past and some of the things I did without feeling like I was judged and vice versa. We were both 32 right before the year mark he said to me that we should break up now because he's just going to mess it up and I will leave before the year and he would rather me end it then him to.hurt me ( like that didn't hurt me LOL). He said he had waited his whole life for me and I actually felt the same way I had been married before and I had never felt for my husband I was feeling for him and I was having a hard time with that because I felt guilty in a way because I was having a problem with that I thought maybe you know there was something wrong with me I've been feeling very guilty. This man was the perfect fit for the other half of my soul we have now been together for 17 years of total Bliss I am still in the honeymoon phase is people call it after 17 years this man still treats me like I am the best thing that ever happened to him. That without me he has nothing I'm not kidding when I tell you he is amazing I broke my back in this man takes care of like I am the most precious commodity in his life. My two sons love this man I mean how many fifteen-year-olds do you know that allow a man to come into their home and they're just okay with it they're fine with it there's no issues I'm totally accepting of him my other son it was much easier there's ten years between my son so he was like 5 and he found his new everything partner I remember the. First week I came home my youngest son was so happy and of course night man was limping I said okay what happened said we went to the skatepark and he fell more times than I did my son was ecstatic that's the kind of man he is after everything that happened to me I never thought I would be able to own another home because of some of the things I went through and this man bought me a house on the river. What I'm trying to say is it comes in grabs you when you least expect it don't look for it and it's going to come to you but when it does grab it and hold on and never let go it'll come it'll come trust and believe do not go to a bar to pick up a girl or a guy in a bar worst place to pick up a significant other that's place to pick up a one-night stand!!!!!! If you got this fart thank you all the missed words or punctuation I'm sorry for I do not have your nerve damage sorry

That is an incredibly sweet story, and I really appreciate you telling it. I'm glad that the two of you found each other, because it's hard to find that other half of yourself in this world. I'm happy to have found Patience, because my life wouldn't be anything near what it is now without her... it's a thought that I honestly dread to even entertain. And please, don't feel the need to apologize. I completely understand why your typing is the way it is. And the fact that you even take the time to respond means the world to me. ♥

@@AsTheRavenDreams I'm going to try to make this one short but you know I have a problem not writing a book sometimes I know I keep promising my story and it's it's really hard to sit down and type it without typing it LOL. Aaron has offered to write out the words for me and help me with into it actually is readable for you so that you can critique it into a raven story I have a feeling that nobody could write it like you... The fact that you make me want to write it amazes me... When I do write it not if I'm getting better when I when I write it I will probably ask to be anonymous because I think it would be a little much for my boys to actually be able to see in words what their father did they know bits and pieces obviously I couldn't keep it from them but they don't know what I went through for the most part for all those years I kept it hidden and trust me when I tell you I hid it very good my father didn't have a clue my brother didn't have a clue I don't think anybody had a clue other than my mother-in-law and she asked me about a hundred times was going on because she didn't if it was she wanted me to take her grandbaby and get the heck out of there she was in an abusive relationship with her first husband and she had to leave at gunpoint yes she held the shotgun to him and actually walk backward to the car to get away from him and had to send her brothers the next day to go get the kids. My ex is from her second husband!!!!! She was an amazing woman... Anyways see what happens I go off the grid I start on one subject and then jump to the other and then jump to the other before I realize it and then I got to go back to the beginning so I can put the end on the 1st second and third I think I just crazy I told you my dad asked me if I wanted to go to the funny farm LOL. I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT I APPRECIATE YOUR FRIENDSHIP IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND SOMEBODY THAT LISTENS AND DOESN'T JUDGE. YOU AND YOUR WIFE ARE A TREASURE I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR YOUR FRIENDSHIP AND THAT MY FRIEND IS A HUNDRED PERCENT TRUTH And I Take friendships very seriously... The things That we talk about privately are con confidential and never be repeated. Like maybe a scatterbrain but I am loyal to a fault.. I am also glad that you it's nice to talk to somebody who actually understands what you're saying when you tell someone that you have found the other half of your soul.. because then you have to try to explain it to somebody and it's very hard to explain how that the love feels like no other Love could and some people like me feel very guilty about that once we find it's just crazy Howard grabs you and says you ain't going nowhere if you even wanted it to I was completely afraid when I explained it... I know you have found yours!!!!!! Most don't, they think they have until they actually meet the correct man if they ever do... You will know out otherwise it changes you from the inside out and feels incredible you can't picture yourself without this person in your life. At the beginning I told you this wasn't going to be long but by now I'm sure you know I don't know how to do little sari ravan much love to you and patience I hope everything is good with you and patience I'm sure you guys are taking care of each other but if either of you need something remember I'm here and I got you

😢 as far as your grandfather's account if they allowed her to go in and use it and she's not on the account your bank has to replace that money because they should have never given it to her and that is a fact. The second card you need to have the pictures from the ATM more than Bank showing another person that's not you if you can prove that you have never use that card they have to give you the money back because they should have never allowed somebody to call in that was not you to order a second card in your name they don't even do those things anymore in your name you can only have one card if you want another card you have to add somebody to your account and they get a card in there named they do not do this double card thing anymore this is probably why... From experience your grandfather's account and any of the money that was taken from the second card the Bank owes you for because it was their error I know this from experience as far as you giving her your card anything that was taken out from your original card you gave her the VIN number so therefore they're not going to replace anything but the bank needs to go after her for the other two things and they have to replace your money. I wonder what patients has to say about this because my problem was over thirty years ago and I know a bunch of things have changed since then because of these issues but I'd like to know what she's got to say about it and how her rules would be at her bank f she's willing to say anything I mean if she doesn't want to go 9n KZread how about Patreon or DM???? My guess is that she had access to his information and had her husband call in pretending to be him. I do agree that the bank would be liable for that... it's the money spent with the card that gets tough. She had a copy and had permission, though the duplicate makes things complicated. I'm sure Patience would be willing to talk to you- do I have your email? I can her send you an email, I just don't want to post it here since it does have her full initials and people get weird :)

My mind was aaallll over the place on this one too, Anita! Especially on who's responsible where! I agree with you, I think the responsibility is really going to rely on how she got access to the grandfather's acct since she supposedly didn't know about it. Like did she get into his stuff online or did she call ooor? Its crazy!

I'm really confused about the last one is she saying that he he was stalking her or was he just looking for a way to approach her and then found out that they had a lot in common so did a lot more research to that you know he didn't make a complete fool himself. If he was stalking you to be creepy you know that's not okay okay but if he was doing it to get the courage to talk to you because he wanted to see how much more, you had or a way to approach you I would think that would be sweet because if he's really that person that you've been talking to and falling for you know and he was just afraid that you were going to reject them because he's the guy from work that you keep looking over that you have no interest in that to be pretty romantic and a good way to know that he cares a lot that isn't that what you're looking for you know when you're trying to find a relationship and was he like getting information on the computer or was he following your family around and sucking them that would be the different but if you really have that much in common with this guy I don't understand why you wouldn't give him a chance to redeem himself or did you get a creep vibe????

I think it's the fact that he was basically researching her. The OP mentioned that he didn't even like the game, he just claimed he did to get closer to her. I think it's the fact that the person made up this whole new person to get to know her. May not be creepy to some, but I could see why it would bother her

Why do u ruin every one of your podcasts or whatever they are called by rambling on at the end. You should just do the storys and say til next time or something. It sounds very childish and unprofessional, only telling u now cos I honesty had assumed you were a very silly teenager up until this one. And I usually just turn off soon as u start but I was busy. This is purely constructive criticism , I enjoy the actual storys.

So what would you rather I do? Be impersonal? Detached? Uninvolved and unengaging with my audience? In your mind I should just read the stories and shut up, not just talk for the fun of it? Because if that's what you want, then my channel isn't for you. It sounds like you rather go listen to a text-to-speech channel, an actual robot. I'm sorry that you think having a personality is 'childish and unprofessional'. I'm sorry that you think me enjoying my work by actually putting myself in it is a problem. I'm sorry you prefer such a bleak world where people just do their task and shut up. Have you ever read Brave New World? Maybe you should... Regardless, I hope you have a great day, and find a channel that you can enjoy that has zero personal attachment to their work.
