I was an internet kid... But I also had a lot of common sense and understanding of 'stay private' It's probably what pushed me into Cyber security initially..

I was born in 91, so I'm on the cusp. We had internet in 01/02 on our Gateway Desktop computer, but it was like a video game console to me at the time in that I didn't do much with it but play games...

The chick in Story 1 should have put the creeper and his crappy forum on blast online. But at least he went to prison eventually for his disgusting depravity.

I hate when kids do nothing wrong, then some creeper targets them and they do the right thing by informing adults and asking for help, yet they then get punished by not being allowed online anymore. Way to provide negative reinforcement 🙄

I worry for my niece as well.

I absolutely love the knee jerk reaction of grounding kids from using the computer vs teaching them how to protect themselves when online. 🙄 Yes, my idiot parents were the same lol

Lol, alright 😅 I try to put those on stories that are a bit more on the disturbing side, and this video has numerous stories where the op was a minor and the creeps were... Well creepy... That's why this one has it

Fair, thank you for listening. In the end- instill good practices about their information. Make sure they know two things; people on the internet don't always mean well, and when something is on the internet, it will always be on the internet. I think they'll be fine in the end 🙂
