Just out of curiosity how is it going now? I see these comments often and some people keep most of it off, others fall off and regain the wait. Most diets aren't sustainable for most people long term. Too much convenient highly palatable foods exist and avoiding them or limiting them is difficult for the type of ppl to gain the wait in the first place. It's why we gain it. Many people are successful long term, but most of them change in more than just eating habits. They become more active and outdoorsy, those seem to keep it off the best.

I've been doing intermittent fasting for about three years and did a 42-hour fast last weekend. My intention/motivation for fasting was never weight loss (although it has been very rewarding), it was to improve my health (I was borderline obese). As a result, because I made true changes to my diet and eating habits, I have lost 45 pounds very slowly over that time period, about 1-1.5 pounds per month,. It has been an amazing journey and my BMI is in the healthy range. I feel so much more alive. Weight loss has been a release of a physical burden that I carried around and now I feel light and bouncy. It's a wonderful feeling to hop out of bed, rather than roll, or to pop up from a squatted position, rather than to brace myself with a table or chair to lift myself. We are magnificent machines. Thank you for creating videos for us.

Thank You for these Tips and Tricks. I have been keto with intermittent fasting for a long time. I do not notice much real hunger any more, but I still have days when what I call "mouth hunger" works on me. On these day, my belly is not hungry, but my mouth wants something to eat! Stress adds to this type of hunger. I have found the 10-minute rule often helps. Again, Thank You.

The liquids that I use during my daily fasting period are: black coffee, carbonated water, and root ginger water. The magical liquid there is the carbonated water, *I seriously swear by it* it's extremely satiating giving a feeling of fullness in the stomach. If you've never tried it I urge you to start using it DAILY! I also undertake 3 or 4 multi-day fasts a year also, and carbonated water is my primary weapon. See my daily routines. Good luck

Thank you for your videos and abundance of information on your website. Handy having a convienient go to resource to reinforce why doing 'x' is beneficial. I make sure to wait after each meal and visual the food filtering down oesophagus into the stomach. If I do feel hungry I ensure to not grab anything ready to eat from the fridge but middle ground of prepping something quit to cook like mushrooms, so by the time they are ready my hunger may have subsided and I have tactfully avoided regret of eating something to feel full. Another tip is to leave out containers, wrappers of everything consumed to serve as a visual aid. Anywaau I've so many helpers but I digress.. Another none egg breakfast I like is a blended drink made of coconut milk, granulated/powder coffee, half refrigerated banana. Almond milk jelly with cinomemen honey and ginger. Overnight oats submerged in almomd milk with either blueberries or cacao powder and banana or peanut butter for a decadent creamy breakfast pot.

Thanks for the tips, my daughter started with some low sugar carbonated water. It helped her get off soda. I find most days hunger is abated, but some days my stomach just growls and I wonder if it was a few more carbs I had day before or just because someone brought brownies in and I'm conditioned to want them. Every day is a learning process. I bought Endure by your suggestion to help with cramps and it worked at night.

Hello Maja, it sounds to me like you're making it more difficult than it should be. This is my daily routine 365 days a year. I also mix in several multi-day fasts a year also. SOOOOOOOOOOOO: *Low-Carb, high animal protein, medium saturated fats OMAD eating window 6pm to 8pm* The point is when you stop eating at 2pm you have many hours left in the day to think about eating! I finish eating at 8pm and quite honestly when I wake in the morning my black coffee, carbonated water, and root ginger water quenches any appetite for food. Head over and see my day-to-day in action. *Warning:* I'm blunt, direct, and to the point. I don't do excuses! Good luck - Leo Low-Carb Lion

@@KatieZeldin about 6 months. Before this I was fasting 12-14 hours. Now I'm fasting 18-19 hours every day, I have got two meals in my eating window (first meal at 8am or 9am and second/last meal at 1.30pm or 2 pm) and I'm on keto. Yes, it becomes easier with time... But I must eat in morning at 8 because I weak up between 5 and 6am and I'm doing my workouts at 10am, so I couldn't be without any food in morning. So this eating/fasting patern suits me best. 😊
