Ordered this and just starting and it's a great course. Really good for beginners since it's more on the conceptual level.

Hey jordan, thanks for the tips. I'm a judo guy, and strangely enough in this position i can't prevent my opponent, especially bigger guys, from turning the other side (not towards me). I know that when this happens i can take the back, and i usually do, but i want to learn how to maintain the position. Is there something that i should be doing but i'm not doing? I know it's hard without a video, but still i wanted to try and ask you. Thank you very much

Tip #1 - If you can't get a cross face or underhook and he starts to tilt over you go to knee on belly. Tip #2 - Get a deep cross face and push them into you. Tip #3 - Isolate the far arm to prevent underhooks and have better control. Tip #4 - Isolate the near side arm, using your knee to go under/over the arm. Tip #5 - Stay heavy on the hips and tilt them to prevent reguarding.
