    Kalie, I love you. I have been watching your videos for 2 years, and you just speak my language better than anyone else! I just got home from being at my mom's house for a week where my routine was practically non-existent and getting worse. I was desperate to come home just to get back the goals and routines that I have set up for myself with YOUR help. I just got home this afternoon and came across this short, and felt personally welcomed back to the rhythm of my life by you! 💞 Thank you for all that you do!!!     Yes, I agree wholeheartedly! I left my day job as an instructional coach at the end of May, and since I didn’t go back to a structured school schedule, I abandoned my morning routine. I am not as productive as I use to be, and I have been thinking it is because I am missing my morning routine which would set my day up for success. I have also gotten into the bad habit of looking at my phone first thing in the morning, and many times I tumble into a black hole of wasted time. Thanks for sharing your 5 habits and the inspiration, Kallie! 😊

    I totally agree. My Mom always used to say, "An unmade bed in the morning will make for restless sleep at night." She was so right and way ahead of her time! In recent years, it has come to light that it can also contribute to anxiety, similar to the side effects of clutter.

    5 things I do before 7am... up with the baby at 12a, 1a, 5a... toddler finds their way into bed at 3:30am...then finally hit snooze at 6am.... bc mama just can't get up early during this season. 🤣🙃🥴

    Same! Currently have a 3m old and a 4 yr old. I keep telling myself I'm gonna wake up early and exercise to get rid of my postpartum body but I just don't have the energy yet lol

    Please be patient with yourself 1st. Soon enough, your little ones will be in school and you will miss this time with them. So enjoy them snuggle, kiss booboos, wrap babies and enjoy your messy hair do, (It's Mom original hair do).

    You do whatever you need to do to love and feed and keep yourself and those babies safe . Productivity will come when the season calls for it. Enjoy this season

    First thing in the morning, I like to put the dishes away so when I come back from taking kids to school, I love to look at my clean kitchen💝 a gift from me to me!

This past year has seen consistent growth for me and the morning routine really has made a big impact!😊 For me it’s: Make bed. Change into clothes. Brush teeth. 3 minute hair/makeup. Coffee and read Bible. My day is off to a great start!

    Amen! I've been missing my Bible recently in the last 4 weeks and I'm starting to prioritise unnecessary things, it's taking my peace. Thank you for this reminder. This short and video really helps. Now to my laundry and printing and then read a little before taking a nap. Was up all night studying 🙆🏾‍♀️ Life throws us curve balls but we must stay vigilant 🙏 Have a blessed day all!

    Totally agree. I meditate and do my yoga stretches, and drink a glass of lemon water first thing when I wake up. Then I shower and eat breakfast. Totally sets the day to be productive. 💜

    Ugh, I can't work out 1st thing in the morning. Usually I scheduled it in for mid morning or in the afternoon when the kids are napping. If I could, I would! Great way to start your day

    These are all things I would love to do, I am all about mornings and it's when I'm most productive. Though, living in a household of light sleepers that work late means doing all that early morning activity is inviting massive drama into my life. I will have to stick with getting dressed, drinking coffee, and going out for a walk. I'm looking forward to Spring when I can use morning time in the greenhouse again.

    You’re absolutely right about getting out if your pajamas! I’m at home all day so it’s easy to just stay in mine all day, but I’ve learned that if I do, NOTHING gets done. Like you said, it’s a subconscious thing.

    I wake up, pray, and eat breakfast/drink coffee while reading scripture (usually daily mass readings), then more prayer. 🙏❤ "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all else will be given to you besides"....blessings!

    I started a HORRIBLE habit of checking my KZread notifications while having my "wake up pee".... Lol. I really need to stop that. I put my phone in my pocket after turning off the alarm, go to the bathroom, and check out what people have replied to me on KZread. Then I spend a lot of my morning replying to people instead of doing things I need to do and things that are actually productive.

    OHHHH, me! I wake up, go straight to the bathroom, with my phone. Which is so unsanitary, when I was a teen there was a rule in our home no phone in the bathroom bc it's gross, idk why I've become accustomed to this. But I go in there and go to KZread and check for new videos. Out of everything KZread is hands down the biggest waster of my time. I've tried different things like putting my phone in focus mode at certain hours, putting timers on apps, turning my notifications off. I just need to stop ✋

    Generally I meditate, then do a load of laundry, sprinklers on the garden, quick food prep item (I bulk cook a lot, due to chronic illnesses) and then a cup of tea. If I'm up to it, after that I'll do some gentle yoga or some art. My partner unstacks the dishwasher (which makes the day so much smoother) feeds the menagerie, has his coffee and does school run 👌 Gentle mornings are important to me, so I prep everything (herbal infusions, kids lunch boxes etc etc) the night before.

    I gave up coffee during my second pregnancy throughout the first trimester and I had the worst morning sickness. I decided to add coffee back into my morning routine and the morning sickness went away.

    I know you have kids so its probably necessary, but I moved my laundry to just two days a week. Thursday for clothes, Friday for towels and bed clothes. I like that so much better than a daily chore.

    😅 Yeah, it's DEFINITELY different when you have kids. If you don't do it daily, it spirals. Should see our laundry and our dishwasher when the kids stay with my parents for a week. We barely do housework at all. 3 loads of laundry, and the dishwasher isn't even full when we run it 🤣 When they're home, that often gets run twice a day. Enjoy the peace of no kids 😆✨

    My routine is similar. Get dressed, tidy my bed, let out and feed the dogs, move the laundry, coffee. Coffee is the treat and then I read with my coffee.

    I do these things too! (Like 3 days in a row. Hate myself for sleeping in on the 4th and having to jump straight into the “wake up mayhem” of 3 kids, inevitably have to write one tardy slip, and spend the next 10-20 days telling myself, “I Really need to get back to my morning routine.”) 🤷🏼‍♀️ But progress not perfection, right? 🥴

    Exercise for me ends up being a rabbit-hole of trying to work on my aches and pains via massage, stretching, and looking up info of what to strengthen. Fast-forward 1to2hrs later... I still need to START putting myself together for the rest of the day, and feel like I've accomplished nothing with my entire morning. 🤪🤣

    Making the bed, walking the dog for at least 15 min (walking in general), feeding the animals, the three S's, taking the daily vits and only drinking water for the first 90 min you're up before having coffee/tea, and prepping your lunch before work.

    Omg I would love to be that organised but am not. We get up about 7.45 son ready for school. Breakfast, make his pack lunch, get ready myself and out the door for 8.40 school drop of 8.50/9 I need to change but I love my sleep to much.

    She says in another video that she leaves the dry laundry in a basket in the living area so during the day she sees it and makes sure to get it folded and every family member takes theirs and puts it away.

    If you don’t relax and breathe, you’re going to end up as an up tight mom that’s too involved to notice your kid is not on board with the drama. I know you’re trying to get a lot of info out there in a short amount of time but the way it comes across isn’t eye opening (the way you intend), it’s kinda scolding, which ISN’T what you want! Soften it a bit and maybe stick to only giving 1 or 2 short suggestions instead of 3 and see if limiting it helps. Best of Luck
