I just actually had a mental breakdown looking around my house at 2am and trying to figure out what to do with everything, timing, appointments, staying out of my own head, and life itself. It's a lot!!

2 in the morning? Overwhelmed? We should call each other and be overwhelmed together! Seriously, I understand. One step at a time, one pile at a time friend. And sometimes walk away for a bit and just breathe. I hope things get better.

As someone with an anxiety disorder, I do this for each day but I also add in brackets the approximate amount of time it will take me to do that task and add a total time for tasks for that day, so tasks don’t seem never-ending. As I complete tasks, I take that time off my total time so I can visually see it reducing. If I’m tired and unmotivated I look at it and think “well I’ve only got 20 minutes of tasks until I’m done for today so I can do it”. It’s really helped me feel less overwhelmed and makes me less likely to freak out and avoid being productive

I have always done brain dumping. It is the best thing I even make a vision board with sections of my house. I need to do the order I need to do it in. And I put deadlines on them because for me if it wasn't for the last minute, nothing would get done.lol I invented my own planner and I take out pages and tac them on it I just went on the computer made them and printed them out and did it the way it would work best for me all the ones I have tried to buy did not work for how I work. So just go on the computer and print it out. I think it is nice though you have these books for people to buy great idea for income. The past 2 months I have deep cleaned and re organized my whole house and my husband told me to grab the video camra and record all of it so I did he is trying to talk me into posting it. Great job mama❤ I have 4 kids it is defenitly all full time job!!

I love that you broke the second day into less specific time chunks. Any time I've tried to schedule out my day, I get hung up on staying on schedule and hit mental roadblocks when I'm behind the arbitrary schedule I've set for myself. I think this is going to help my productivity a lot. ❤️

I feel like the way you explained this was what I ALREADY KNEW, but my life has become so out of control and hectic absolute chaos that I really needed to hear every syllable you spoke, so thank you for keeping it simple for me, congratulations on creating your planner, thank you for explaining how you did this in your 1$ notebook because Im on a fixed income right now and it's about to be my oldest birthday and Christmas so basically I'm broke for the next 3 months. I just really needed this clarity right now so thank you for sharing your brilliance with the world, you are truly appreciated on today when I'm juggling my autistic son, business matters, trying to heat my house with space heaters and sealing windows and doors and just trying to do laundry and Lord willing, be able to shower! Thank you again XoXoX

The start of the video I was like, yeah I kind of do that, that's how most planning stuff works, but then. Daily spread page, Boom! You have literally blown my mind, to have that in a planner like that. I've been making daily to do lists on scrap paper for years, to organise my work tasks and meetings, but having it in a planner along with all my personal stuff (and the kids, the housework, the errands etc etc) - SOLD. What a simple but powerful concept. Also the amount of space you've provided for each thing, and being an undated planner - so smart. This is the first of your videos I've ever watched (came here from the Awkward Mom fyi) and I'm so grateful as I have hit paydirt on Nov 4!

I have been using this planner for 6 weeks, and it really has made me more productive. I like scheduling tasks into specific times of the day based on what’s on the schedule for that particular day, rather than just a general To Do list for the day. It makes me more realistic with what I can and can’t get done on any given day and has helped me feel less defeated by all that I did not accomplish. I have peace of mind knowing that the brain dump list can grow but won’t get lost like when I used to jot down notes on a piece of paper or sticky note. I’ve converted a section to be my meal planning area for the week, which then aids in forming my weekly grocery list. The fact that the planner is spiral bound means it can stay open on my kitchen counter without taking up lots of room and actually stays open to the page I want. All in all, I am very pleased with my investment in this planner. Great job, Kallie!

Personally, I live at least as much off of routines and repeating tasks than I do off scheduled events. I don't execute even daily tasks very well unless I can check them off, but writing them repeatedly would be a time consuming chore. I like a digital app for repeating tasks, connected to a calendar for appointments. If I want to plan out a project or goal, for that I do like a notebook. Just where I am at this point in time.

I have the feeling without my list I don't do anything done but at the same time I don't get frustrated anymore when I don't manage to do everything because I know I will push it into next day or week and it will be done.❤ But because I like not to have clutter, I tear the pages from the previous week before adding the unfinished tasks in the next new week which why spiral binder like yours is great .

I ordered your planner because I like the flexibility of it and having some pre-printed sectioning to make it a little more structured than my notebook and “ready to go” for the week. Thanks! I think you will do well with your planner! Simple, yet flexible and lots of space to write. Question - is the pen holder included or if not, can you provide a link for that?

Thank you for making an undated planner. I keep trying to adopt different methods to bring order to my life. It is good to know i can pick up this method or put it down as needed i actually have been doing the braindump part of this method for a while using the notes app on my phone. I made a poor attempt at scheduling using the Reminders app but it will not be as visual as the weekly spread and timeblocking. looking forward to trying the planner.

The Notes app is a great tool for capturing things that just come into your head, I use the Reminders app to capture things with the help of Siri, when I can't use my hands like when I'm driving. I hope you can find a method that works for you!

Just because i know this.... i always said there was room on the door for Jack! Spielberg actually did tests on doors to see if it would hold both and it didn't. The door couldn't support both. Lol

I decided to order your planner. It’s a bit pricey, but I have been looking for a sensible no frills approach, and every planner I have looked at just had way too much stuff in it. So, hopefully it will improve my work / life organization. Could I have used the notebook. Yes. But right now I just don’t seem to have the bandwidth to create that structure. BTW, I think it was you I heard the tidy kitchen sink at night, and I started doing it quite some time back. It is really nice getting up to a tidy kitchen with a shiny sink, and I live alone with no one to blame but myself.
