Elementary School I went to when I lived in Germany (american DODDS school) had a dachshund as a mascot . The dog actually belonged to the school principal .

Both mine were miniature Dauchunds & soooo loved by everyone @ work or home - get/have one/many, u won't make a mistake; also i'm almost 79 years old & definately know what i'm talking about - SEJ again @ 15.54 hrs., Monday, 27th May, 2024.

The best thing for a daschund is lots of cuddles, lots of kisses, treats, and in my doxie Fritz’s favorite thing, sharing a bowl of popcorn! Oh! also, sleeping under the sheets by mommy’s feet! Believe me these things work Everytime!

Nice video with a lot of true information, but why does it show a lady inviting a dachshund to jump, even over another dachshund? All dachshund owners should know or be warned about the danger of hurting their backs.

Daschunds want to rule the world!!! But you can't rule the world from the basement. So daschunds like to climb to high spots.

This can be anxious or submissive behaviour, or dominant, if it's a male and not nutered.

I’m not sure but I did just want to say my brother in laws mini is house trained and spayed now and she still pees a whole lot when we show up lol. Excited pees though.
