It is a blessing to be an empath. I knew i was different from a young age. I must say as an empath you must find balance. If you do not it is easy to let yourself be taken advantage of. We like to see the best in everyone. Unfortunately that can cause empaths to make poor choices when it comes to finding a partner. Yes we are loyal sometimes to a fault. We do not enjoy being lied to. We sometimes expect too much of others because we would never do certain things to them and we expect to be treated the same. It is a constant battle at times.

@@jwilcox4726 I will say honestly I spent many years feeling exactly like that. I had to learn very difficult lessons. I questioned my gifts when i was younger. I had people telling me I was crazy and wrong. Yet the things i felt were on point. I just found out too late. I turned 41 today. I spent my younger years always feeling as though I did not belong in this World. Like I should have lived in another era all together. A time when family meant family and people were loyal to their partners. They called me an old soul and stubborn. Maybe so, however I have finally found that I am just me. And that is all I can be. A lot of struggles in my life. But i went through them so that i have walked in others shoes. I can say I know how you are feeling because years ago I was going through the same obstacles. I can talk to people if they wish to and give them the best advice that i possibly can. It is up to them to take the advice or not. I wish I had had someone giving me this advice many years ago. Once you have accepted yourself the good and not so good you will be able to live better without as much anxiety. We can only take 1 step at a time, 1 day at a time. To learn, to grow, and be a better person than we were the previous day. Yes I personally felt like a doormat however I blame myself for letting it continue as long as it did, and for not trusting my gut. I hope this helps someone somehow!

@@jwilcox4726 Set boundaries with people, and protect your energy. Call back your energy at the end of each day or after interactions that leave you feeling drained. Google calling back energy, or energy retrieval. These 2 things have helped me tremendously, and it will definitely help you too! ✌

This one line hit me. An empath will be very loyal but only when they feel it. When they don't look out. That loyalty goes away fast. That normally means ending the relationship but not always just loyalty won't be there.

The past couple of years I foundout this word "empath", and now I have a physical Word for what I've been my whole life, and watching these videos have helped smooth and balance a few thinks for me. Thank,,,....wish I knew I was empath sooner, but it's better to be late to the party then not invided

The intuition that come along with being a strong Empath is insane. Ive called it "the Jedi" my whole life until I learned about it. Does anyone else have a crazy fast reflexes? Like I do things before I even know I'm doing it!! I have pulled off some "spider sense" crazy level obstacles that scare me sometimes!

Accurate! In my opinion, it’s both a blessing and a curse. I do love unconditionally and that makes me happy. Sometimes I wish I didn’t know the things I know without proof. We tend to attract people who take advantage of us. The last person actually told me he didn’t know how to take my love because he’d never had a love like that before. Thank you for the work you do.

mine was a narcissist father! he’s been gone now for almost 3 years and i still feel a little guilty saying i don’t miss him. but no matter how much i loved him, how can you miss someone who made your life a nightmare! my mom and i are finally free of him. and she had to endure way more than i did…but because i’m an empath AND HSP it traumatized me more than her. for so long i was treated like there was something wrong with me- and whenever i get upset i still get told i should control myself or think of the other person’s feelings or that im a grown woman and shouldn’t be “crying like a baby” anymore. but no one considers my feelings!!

I could never understand why others couldn't see what I see in some people. Like when I could see someone was clearly lying or dangerous and they couldn't. I stopped saying anything because of being accused of being judgemental even though I was eventually proved right. Ive always told my kids and grand kids, about the "oh oh" feeling they might get from someone. No matter if there doesn't appear to be anything wrong, to get away from them. I learned the hard way, until I learned it was never wrong. Your description of an empath was right on and though I am happy to know there is a reason people can't relate to me and many of my life experiences have been as you described, at 76yrs old I've had enough and become reclusive. Absorbing the negativity of people around me, has become more than I can cope with.

That was very accurate. Except that this isn't just with romantic partners. This is with anyone I truly care for. Also strangers. I don't know if I am strong enough to feel past what is around my close vicinity. Outside of the walls of the house or room I am in...I don't know. This was EXCELLENT! I dated a guy who said I was too serious. He never got to know me. He didn’t see the side of me that is very silly and playful. He began taking advantage of my love and saw how serious I really was when I broke up with him. 🤓

Hi Brenda, I was wondering how you knew he was taking advantage of your love? I need to know because I believe I'm in the midst of just that! I wanted to hear the things he would do, or say, that made you see he was taking advantage? I clearly see that he (my guy), is a narcissist, and I'm older, but recently learned that I'm an empath. He also has been caught gas lighting me, I know what I hear and see, but he is lying and he will not come clean! I doubt myself often so the guilt I have because I don't believe him is causing great negative energy for me and I plan on leaving but it's difficult! Thank you!

I was raised by an overt narcissistic mom, which set me up for a lifetime of neglect and abuse by others....taken advantage of and not appreciated, at best. I married a covert narcissist and they're almost worse than overts because they're much more subtle and harder to figure out. I wish I'd known about narcissists when I was in my 20's...what signs to look for, etc. They were there....several red flags that I just ignored, unfortunately.

I believe this helps very much. It's difficult when others don't seem to grasp how we can understand and feel so much. Thank you for making me feel normal. Blessings to you

I'm a empath. Adrenol gland is bleeding from stress. My dog has cushings from stress. I think we are dying. I do dream journals a year at a time. Then I go back at end of year or sooner, and I see where I saw the future in my dreams and IT HAPPENED, I mark those in yellow. This will get you started in realizing if you are one or not. Clairvoyancy comes with being an Empath. Kim Russo said in Season 1 ep. 1-6 one of those that empaths see the future. We do thru Clairvoyancy. She says it spot on. Never knew I was one. I can feel everything. Plants that need water, if a tree is dying. My Chihuahua/Westy companion is now on my back so help me and she is the one dying. I live on a farm, in a forest, at the beach in SW WA. Are there any empaths that want to talk over internet maybe ?

Yeh when I was a kid I would have dreams that played out in real life as "deja vu" to me. But now I cant remember any of my dreams , I think it's because everytime I'm dreaming I realize it's a dream and try to manipulate the surroundings lol

I actually had a dream that was so real & yet symbolic at the same time when I was 12 about the ex-narc ...the dream was pretty wild. The crazy thing is I remember telling the ex-narc about it way before I ever figured out he was one.

It is all correct from my experience, which is really hard sometimes but the reward is inner energy to love and to feel love... even while alone and lonely hearted. I often feel as the only person in a room full of people. I have met one person that allows me to feel like I am not the only person in the room , she is much younger than myself and on a friend bases only yet I find myself needing to give back what I can as just a friend which is rewarding even as it creates an empty spot within my heart, she is unaware I am in Love with her and I feel there is nothing I can do but be the very best gentleman and genuine friend that I can be for her benefit....

55 now and exhausted, life has been all that is described, in many partners, ex wife, work bosses,the list goes on and on, never understood money and greed, why some people would betray others for money, shiney things and stuff. makes no sense, did i arrive here with the wrong instuctions or did i just get off at the wrong stop!? , i have no inclination to control other people, just live in harmony....i want to find someone who is same but like a narc magnet the cycle never stops. so living a quiet life until i go back home.

Yeah I'm all of this to the t it blows me clear out of the water I can feel people's feelings when they even on my TV it is so strange I go to my doctor's office and I can feel how she's feeling that day it's crazy when my husband cheated on me it was like I was there I can't even describe it I knew exactly what he was doing I knew exactly who he was with I don't know how I knew but I knew and like I said it was like I was right there it was so intense I can't even describe it he denied it but I knew I was right and then the truth came out I know deep down the next morning when he came home and tried to climb in the bed with me and I said don't you put your hands on me and I said I know you with your ex-wife last night he freaked out lied about it but when it came out he asked me how I knew that I said it was like I was in the very room with you I could feel it I was also 4 months pregnant so I felt every minute he spent with her I'll never forget it

Listening to this was great as are all of the video's on this channel. Since I've found out more about who I am, a question keeps running thru my head. Why do we exist? I'm pretty sure I exist do to severe sexual abuse as a small child. I learned how to "read" people at a young age. Is this common among Empath's?
