It’s sad how people expect men to take the emotional damage of a breakup like it’s nothing, I found out my girlfriend cheated on me and she broke up with me because I “didn’t try to win her back”. Looking back on it she was super abusive and toxic. I remember after the break up I was playing video games in my room so people wouldn’t see me cry. My homies then we’re let in by my mom (bless her) and They took me out to do a bunch of fun stuff like going to a movie, getting junk food, and hanging out at a fort we built by a creek when we were 10. Their efforts to make me happy helped me cope with the break up. I’m so glad I have my friends, it’s like brotherhood between me and my friends. (:

That’s so true. But it’s not just for boys. It’s for girls too. Some girls open up about things and are vulnerable, but that’s not always the case. When I had a heartbreak, I would not let anybody see or know I was crying. I didn’t tell anyone, not even my parents because I didn’t want to be a burden to them with my problems. It can go both ways.

Today, what happened was I was talking to my friends, but then Sebastian’s friends came up to me and said that he wants to break up. I was in tears and he was so happy.

The guy I left everyone for who ever did anything good for me broke up with me over text and said I was to mentally disabled to date him because of my disorder. He came back after an hour or two begging for my forgiveness and to get back together. I told him that being with a guy like him went against my values and he told me "Im going to jump off a bridge since you dont like me anymore". Because of that I told him i would get back with him, but he said that we should just be friends for a bit till we decide to date again. After this he 1. Ghosted me. 2. Spread rumors about me to my whole school about my disorder. 3. Tried to place a restraining order on me when I tried to talk to him to make sure he wouldnt jump off of a bridge. Now its been six months and i couldnt be happier with my new life.

I lost my first relationship in May we were together almost 3 years, I wish him the best I do and he didn’t want to tell anyone we broke up.. But the next day his 3 best friends walked up to me and said he was in the wrong and they said he lost me and I was someone who loved him and it showed. They were mad and still are mad at him, and stopped talking to him for some time now. They said I deserved better. The next day I am in my first class and one of the professors wants to take us on a trip we do so and as we get their he says I like this girl ( let’s name her Amy) everyone is in complete shock and that night theirs a party and he says Amy do you like me? Amy says no sorry someone told me your a snake until you bite. One of his friends had told her that so he cried at the party. Now we are still friends but he acts like nothing happened and everyone is totally on my side. He blamed it on his parents saying he couldn’t be with me. And even today I still am hurt and he said if we ever do happen again we can’t tell anyone. And I said well I am gonna have to tell my best-friend, he says no. The convo didn’t really last after that we just forgot. But he left me heartbroken and in pieces and a total mess for weeks and months after. I still miss him, but I think I might have just found someone else

Im very happy that i somehow learned to open up about my feelings, not to anyone but a very close and special group of people that i trust with that 100%. Very good friends, family. I hope you also have someone like that in your life bc that helps alot. For me its very important right now bc the love of my life broke up with me 2 days ago.

This is actually true when we get broken up with all we can do is cry in silence talk to nobody and act like nothing happen because if we say anything to anybody we are weak anamaticly and Ie have nobody to go to we are alone for everything and I’m not trying to like say anything saying girls don’t have it hard but at least girls can say things and cry with somebody or somebody to go with hope you guys have a good day

It’s true, we act all tough to everyone, but behind closed doors, away from any human contact, we do cry. We don’t show it in public because of how society treats us for doing it. “Toughen up”, “man up”, “quit crying”, it’s the reason we are so stoic in public, we don’t want to be seen as weak.
