Did you like the part where there was a campfire in space!?! It was awesome when she survived a disabled ship crashed full speed onto a rocky planet too! Also when they went back to the Jedi temple with the prisoners without investigating the crash!! I especially loved when the Jedi master was killed by a knife to the chest while others have survived a light saber stab in the other Disney Star Wars! Can’t forget about the part where the lesbian director created a lesbian couple who could have a baby together which definitely wasn’t a fantasy insert! Man she’s such a humble director person calling all the fans with legitimate criticism racists and phopes! Also she totally didn’t know about Harvey Weinstein victims while being the assistant and didn’t speak out about it! 😁🥰

If you take out all the Star Wars lore, it's an OK murder mystery / revenge show. The twins reveal came quick, but I guess cause it's a short series that the story needs to keep moving. The guy with the red glow sword at the end of the first episode is probably the big reveal for the casual viewer.

Whelp. I guess none of us expected Ki Adi Mundi to be the only one name dropped in the credits in the show

Chewbacca would actually be about 50 during the acolyte. I believe he was around 180 during the original trilogy. The acolyte is set roughly 130 years prior to the original trilogy. Basically Chewbacca would be like an older teen or young adult. Tarfful would be a little over 100 I believe.

Space apparently isn't that big anymore. Jedi Master is killed and a suspect is tracked down on the other side of the galaxy in less than a day. The Jedi who arrest Osha don't accompany her back. They can pick up the escape pods but don't check out the planet right next to them. Yord mentions Osha's sister but is shocked to learn she was a twin. Force mind reading is established yet is barely used again. Episode 2 - A Jedi master has been murdered yet no one notices the stranger wandering around the Jedi temple. The poison make knows Osha is Mae's twin but Mae thinks Osha is dead. They don't arrest poison maker guy and let him escape. Sol doesn't Force whip Mae into submission and end the whole thing. Episode 3 - Witch coven are in hiding but have lights outside the place they are staying. Witches are shown forcing their choice upon Osha instead of letting her make her own choice. Jedi are willing to leave if neither child wants to be a Jedi. Mae gets mad and blows the place up. They presented the story as being what happened and not what a single character thought happened so if they retcon it later it can't make sense. Don't have people who know nothing about Star Wars writing Star Wars stories.

That's what happens when a franchise expands and everyone tries to do their own thing. Sometimes the changes are great and sometimes they are not. Also, Star Wars has been political since day one. So I don't understand this mentioning of real world politics. In the first two episodes of the Acolyte every piece of dialogue was Star Wars related. No one was like, "Hi I'm a black Jedi." And no one said, "Here's my trans alien friend." So I'm not saying you specifically, but people claiming wokeness are just idiots because the show doesn't talk about anything remotely close to that. Unless, the true issue is that some fans are just racist and hate the cast members of the show for not having a white guy front and center stage. Which is not important because white people are there playing other parts, and the most important thing which is the story is there and it's great.

I have heard people complain about LSaber mechanics, which is non-science by the way as the mere existence of them breaks the laws of physics as we know it. Since the weight of the blade, the amount of heat it produces, and how it cuts has changed within the OT, and in the movies that came frok it since. For example, Lucas made the LSaber chop like a sword in A New Hope, which is why the arm of the bully in the bar earlier in thr movie fell to the floor and there was blood. He couldn't show more because SW is for kids. Then later, in ESB he changed it so the LSaber now generates tons of heat and seals the wound when it cuts. That's why Luke's hand didn't bleed in the following film. And with every new set of films, decisions were made in handling the sword either as a Samurai and then returning to the European knight style of the OT. So the films are sticking to canon if you look at it critically. What I find is that people who don't know lore are getting angry at the films and TV series when they see something new. Not knowing that what they were looking at was actually introduced 10 to 20 years ago.

AMAZING!!!❤️🔥 The acting is great, it has a great story (murder mystery), the sets look amazing, the costumes are on point, the choreography is great, it's everything I wanted from a SW show. Sometimes, the audience doesn't know who's committing the murders and sometimes they do. It's from the protagonist(s) point of view that they need to figure out the who and the why. In the pilot episode we knew the who (without a name of course) but we didn't know the why. And when the Jedi started investigating they didn't know the who or why. Therefore, the beginning two episodes revolved around a murder mystery. Secondly, there are many times in the SW mythos where someone weaker beats someone stronger, in Episode 1 that was the Obi-Wan Kenobi vs Darth Maul Fight. In episode 3, that was the Obi-Wan Kenobi vs Anakin Skywalker fight. In the comic books, the way the Acolyte killed the Jedi Master is nearly IDENTICAL to how Vader killed a Jedi Battlemaster, his first Jedi kill post-Order 66. Therefore, EVERYTHING we have seen so far has already occurred years ago in the SW franchise. You are literally upset because either you are unfamiliar with SW lore OR you are upset for another reason and pointing to non-sensical critics, which either aren't true or is common within SW. Do you see how fans like me cannot take people like you seriously? You may care, or you may not. But this discussion goes no where unless you begin to be honest with yourself and with me. Why are you really angry? Because I don't think it has anything to do with the show.

@@Ajax1063 By the end of the first episode the protagonists knew the who. Before the end of the 2nd episode they confirmed the who and can easily guess the why. The only "mystery" is who the master is. It's probably the apothecary guy because he knew that it was Osha even though at that time Mae thought she was dead. Then add in how well he defended himself against Mae. Finally you get the bad writing that is the Jedi not imprisoning him, leaving him free for future fantasy. You can also take your insinuations of ists and phobias and slather yourself up into a frenzy. Everything I mentioned has been plot oriented. You need me to be the ist and phobe because then you can dismiss my critiques.

@@michaelplowman8674 Nope, I'm pretty much correct. Because it still started with a murder mystery for the protagonists. But when it is solved quickly, it's because the writer is using that event to trigger further events and lead to bigger plot. Also, season 1 will only be 10 episodes or less. So as soon as they found the girl's twin sister. I knew that the murder and her wasn't the focus of the show. The true focus, which is the assassins master and any motivations or plans they may have haven't been revealed yet. And I even admitted to not seeing episode 3 yet, as I only have time to watch it over the weekend not weekdays. So from a literary stand point using the first two episodes your critics hold no weight. So I don't believe them and that's why I think your hate comes from another source. Or you're just terrible at creating legitimate critics and no one in your life has told you yet, that's also a possibility.

So thank you for stealing my work and claiming it as your own. You still cling to my motivation being something other than plot related which strengthens my point that you won't accept legit criticism of the show. It's okay to like something that isn't well written. I love Endgame. It has plot holes all over the place. It doesn't hurt my feelings or lessen my love for it to have those plot holes pointed out. And this show only has 8 episodes. They have next to no story left to tell for the final 5 episodes. They have 3 plot points left, the wookie Jedi, Sol, and the master. That means 2 filler episodes. I've already said apothecary guy will be the master, he could turn out to be somehow tied to the coven, and it wouldn't shock me that he's Plagieus, or however it's spelled. I'm not saying you can't or shouldn't like it. Just don't tell me I have to think it's well written when it clearly isn't. Sol's introduction is a lesson about not trusting your eyes followed by he saw Mae die so it couldn't be her followed by him just trusting Osha that Mae is alive and the one doing it. Yord specifically mentions Osha's sister, who isn't in her file so the only way he could know is if he was told about her from Osha, yet it never came up that it was a twin? Bad writing.
