Yes! Being our true self is what attracts others to us and make us beautiful. I worked around men most of my career as well as some very attractive females yet I was always surrounded by the guys. The one thing I was told by some of the males was besides how attractive they found me was always be as you are. True to who you are as you are that is what makes you stand out from all the others. The make up, the nails is not what makes a woman beautiful. It is not only the way she carries herself but how truthful and sincere to herself and others she is. That’s what sets a woman apart from the rest even if she isn’t attractive, her beauty comes from within her and not from her.

He does give great advice, doesn't he? But more than anything you need *yourself* in your head! Self love, self respect, self care, self confidence. I've been in counseling and working on myself for a few years now. The more self work you do, the more confident you will become and the less you will have time for anyone who doesn't respect you and enjoy your company. Also the less time you will have for anyone who is arrogant, rude, or toxic.

Bring the frame… this is brilliant, I’ve struggled with this for so long but didn’t know how put put my finger on it. And not just with men but most of my social and professional interactions. This puts it into perspective so I can adjust it! Thank you so much.

I used to tolerate too much 'noise'. I actually really disliked being dumped on. Just didn't want to play the role of the 'listening ear" anymore. One day as someone began a blurt, I actually felt ok, and simply said, "You certainly like complaining." And I went and did something interesting.

Let’s face it, men like a challenge! Just as most women do. First you must work on yourself physically, because we all look at physical attributes first, then personality before we even start to get to know the real person. It is kinda like eating food…would you rather eat something that is beautifully arranged on your plate or something that has just been slopped on it? The only thing is, you really need to do this for yourself and your health. Plus finding a sport( like racket ball or tennis, places you in an area that lets you meet people while you are enjoying yourself and letting other people see a different side of you. Also, if you are having fun it shows and you do not have to pretend to capture the attention of others. This is a win win situation, you are exercising and having a good time with a friend. Plus, women seem to be too free with their bodies hoping to get a guy. The old saying is true” why buy the cow if you are getting the milk free”! Remember something that you have to work hard for is valued more than something just handed to you. Confidence is worth a lot! If you value yourself others will too. Just have fun in your everyday life and treat yourself with the respect you want from others. I always dressed the way I wanted( always better to be over dressed than under), I always placed confidence in myself not in others. Just a little advice from someone who went to a college that had 5 girls to every guy…and I hardly ever went without a date unless it was my choice! I sometimes even had two dates in one night. I was not an in the market for love, only enjoying life, and it showed. I had very good friends ( and they still are) as guys, guys that I chose to go out with. Ladies place yourself on the mountain top and make the men have to come to you. Enjoy life and everything else will fall in place.

I had a guy msg me last minute hoping he could see me briefly on a short visit to my town that he was on. I was at work when he msgd me and I already had plans, so I told him that but offered one option that could possibly work, as we are friends. But he ended up saying he was too busy to see me, that it would be too hard to coordinate, because I hadn’t jumped right away on his last minute offer. I just said ok, and moved on. I go out to have fun but idiots usually find so many things to ruin it it won’t bother me but so annoying ! I started don’t like men anymore because I love my inner peace. If a guy cannot communicate better then I lost interest simple as that. A mature man knows how to communicate effectively. I’m the one gets bored right away because I am very sociable and always on the go. I think when both people are attached to each other this would fall into places and not difficult to achieve but then again I am shallot not attracted to all men I’m seeing with so I did not care at all. Hah, I remember that somebody has been making similar comments to me like that "Why are you not wearing high heels tonight?" And my answer have been: "so what?" (Wtf?) And plank stare as I have not understood why they are even pointing those kind of things out to me 😅 or demand that I should been wearing something else 😅 And the conversation have dried out super quickly and I have been left to wonder wtf. And the faces...I remember the faces being like: "She is weird and not reacting how I expected at all? 😮" And they have left me without saying anything after as they can not really explain the real reasons for their questions. 😂😂😂 I do not know if I have been come across to them: just strangely not effected by them, weird or high value woman. But it is super weird question. Like I was going around asking from random men why they are not wearing some items of clothing...wtf? Just weird behavior all together 😂 Probably never asked those questions again from a woman as I made them feel like they were idiots 😂 Next time my answer will be: "Well why are You not wearing speedos?
