Thanks for the video. I think reason no. 6 would be that the aperture of this lens allows to do astro photography.

IBIS is only available in high end cameras. 😮💨 OIS still matters.
Would also recommend Sigma's 18-50 2.8. A great lens for a great price of around 520-550 euros. I wonder why this Tamron is slightly pricey, especially when compared with the Sony FF version...

Thanks for the tip. The Sigma 18-50mm is a really nice lens, but it's more like a standard zoom.

Sigma is now coming out with the 10-18. Love to see a comparison between these two lenses.
Have the fuji 10-24, so passing on this one
The new X-S20, this lens and the 17-70. That's it, I need nothing more. And btw - in my country the difference between Sony and Fuji version is just €15. No difference in other words.

is the flare bad on that one? Because i think it is on my xf 10-24mm as well :(
