I know exactly what you are talking about when it comes to own a V12... I had one for 5 years a F02 760Li... Just to start the car after whatever you were doing...it drags a smile 😊 on your face. I had V10, V8 and straight 6... But goosebumps came from waking up the V12. Try to keep this car as long you can Mike....it's awesome 👍. Greetings from the Netherlands

I have a 2003 CL600. V12 twin turbo. Amazing starter sound. It has the pillarless windows. Twenty one years later it will throw your toupee into the beautiful back seat.

I have a 2020 s560 coupe with the red interior. I smile every time I drive it. I picked mine up around the same time it dropped on your channel. My number one feature is the no B pillar. Love that look.

I owned few MB coups in my life, and there are few things i adore : comfort, looks, there is no other car that you have such a huge variaty of rims that change the looks dramaticaly, and they do age good.

The only thing I would add to that beauty is an apple carplay adapter so everything shows up on that massive screen instead of the phone hanging onto the air vent. That would complete the interior 👌🏼

A Mercedes S65 with the Burmester as standard equipment has CarPlay. If not he needs to update the COMAND system or read the manual to activate. I'm sure there's a good reason he hasn't used it yet.

Great video man! I own an Mercedes S500 Coupe that comes with a V8 biturbo engine. This car is just a plesure to drive, everything is so much quality - the leather everywhere, the wood pannels, the double layered glass insulation, the sound quality, super soft and smooth air suspension.... And of course, the looks! This is an amazing car engineering, where quality is not compromised. Also the size of this car is perfect - it is not too small as many other sports cars. You can take your friends in the back seat and they will feel comfortable. Big boot size. I can go for ever with so many things I love about this car! When I look at the new and latest cars that are coming out, I dont even know where the car industry is heading. Simply because this kind of luxury quality and speed is becoming very very rare these days.

The sound on this beast is incredible!!! Love the exhaust noise.

Love my 08' CL63 AMG. Naturally aspirated. Awesome car to drive, the sound and comfort. Next 1 will be the new body style V12, maybe. Also had a 91' Dinah package 850 BMW beautiful car. Love your vids.

Vw golfs have the rear view camera the same ( hidden in the emblem ) it’s also the way you open the hatch. Started in 05 in Germany and 06 in America. People were always surprised.

Nice video. I agree with you on the styling. I have always been a fan of the CL/S Class Coupe styling but Mercedes Benz knocked it out of the park with the styling of the C217

One of the things that i like the most in the S65 is that sound of the starter too 😍😍

I tell people all the time once you drive us class you never want to drive anything else. This is my first coupe I’ve had four 4 doors. i’ve had a couple E classes I still love my 2011 E convertible. I’ve had a AMGGLC I enjoyed that but it’s not an S class. So I tell people that all the time but I will tell you usually after a year and a half I’m tired of a car and I want something new. But every time I woke up to this coupe I’m in love. I was scared of the S 65 or 63 because the maintenance is higher. But the S5 50s enough for me with the upgraded interior. Always enjoy your Vlogs my friend.

S63 Cabrio here. 16k miles. One wealthy woman owned it before me (car was immaculate when I got it). It is babied most of the time now, but zips around some twisties once in a while. Mostly it is a cruiser. The ultimate two-personality car: S-Class smooth when cruising, AMG beastly when I need it.

I have this exact car in the factory satin silver. I went with the Brabus rear wing. It really finishes off the trunk lines perfectly.

That was a great video pal I have nothing else to add. I own a S 63 AMG Cabriolet the same year. They are truly one of its kind when I see a video. I wished I got the V12 instead of the V8 engine. Everything you say is true, not having the b pillar, the 3-D Soundsystem is amazing, Also, the ride quality and powertrain. Only thing I don’t understand is why they don’t offer the magic ride control for the V8 AMGs. Again, congrats you have a wonderful car. Enjoy every day with it. It is the very special Mercedes-Benz and sadly they don’t produce these cars anymore. No more S class coupé 😢 Cheers from LA

The v8 is better to be honest. It may be lacking the magic ride control but its a much newer and more reliable engine. but i guess that may not be the biggest deal for an S class owner lol

Yea the S65 coupe is a bucketlist car. Probably one of the best looking GT coupes ever made.

I have the 15’ S65 AMG Blk/Blk sedan. Been the owner for about 5yrs now and there’s nothing like it outside of an Maybach. The performance is still supreme amongst other vehicles I’ve driven (Lexus, Porsche and Ferrari). The S65 rides like you’re floating on clouds! Thinking about selling the sedan for a coupe.

I agree best looking coupe. Mercedes have always been clever with aesthetics tapping into the subconscious and pressing all the right buttons. Masculine, super desirable, great at every angle and almost a different car from certain angles. Alot of work and research goes into their design and marketing.

over 15 years ago the pillarless style came out. i owned the E350 coupe. there was also a CL that was killer to look at.

Gorgeous car! One of the best designs Mercedes ever made. This is almost indistinguishable from the Eclass couple which also does not have a B-pillar

The thing I like about the amg cars are the electronics. Went driving in the mountains with my buddy in his c63 amg and we could not get that thing to lose traction. Pretty crazy for a rwd car to feel that planted doing 80mph around a narrow canyon bend. My 440i gc feels heavy in comparison even though the amg is heavier.

That's a BADASS coupe!!!❤

Another thing which your car makes it looks 10x better is you LOWERED IT. That in and of itself makes a world of difference

I had an 04 CL55 AMG coupe. I use to tell folks it's a machine not a car. Was amazing how it took curves. I got rid of it when i bought my 1st Bentley GT. That AMG was a sleeper. Was a v8. Until you put your foot in it or down shifted they had no clue. The Bentley i have now is a GT Speed. None of them have pillars /posts either either. Nor does my 67 Chevelle SS or my 55 BelAir. It amazes me of how different it changes the look.

BMW 8 series were B-pillarless…. Always loved that about them!

Just wait a few years. They're dropping like rocks. Also, I've gotta disagree with Mike. I'm more prone to the earlier C216 chassis as being a better looker. More glass, lower beltline, and of course, the "real" AMG engine, the M156 6.2 liter V-8.😜

Agree with everything you say about the interior and exterior. There are no 2 door s65 coupes for sale in Australia 😭

I agree I like the interior better on the last generation. The one that you have and the one that I have. If you go with an euro charge tune, you will get almost 100 more horsepower compared to the tune you currently have.

The BMW F83 (the previous cabrio coupe with hard top) has that B pilarless feature. I owned one (the M4 cabrio of that generation was sick) and I still miss it you could have al four windows rolled down with no B pillar and also you could go in cabrio mode.

Really enjoyed this introduction to a surprisingly unfamiliar beast of a car. The design is already stunning but those tastefully done mods have transformed it into 10/10 PERFECTION in my opinion. For a grown man of your vintage it sure brings out the big kid in you, and I absolutely couldn't agree with you more about that steering wheel omg its the best twirling device I've ever laid eyes on its absolutely perfect! Not that it really matters as they are in completely different classes but I'm still curious if your RS6 was faster than this Torque monster V12? Lastly for the sake of your health you might wanna take a close look at your seatbelt mate, pull it all the way out and inspect both sides closely I hope I'm wrong but I think I saw some mould which is more common than people realise especially in the colder climate countries around the world it's out of sight out of mind and will make you very sick if you breathe in the airborne spores, better safe than sorry. Just a tip,get your transmission upgraded and especially to hold gears longer.See if your in a gear in automatic mode that keeps you in a higher rev you will be more aware of your speed.Becauase that's what I noticed with auto mode is you kick up some power to prove it feels what's under the hood but if you already had that power on tap you would be in much more control of your speed.If you think your car looks good hold your speed down.Because hanging in automatic mode your always going to feel like higher speeds are not as high as the posted speed limit.It's going to be nothing but tickets that's my two cents nice car bro.
