@Asal Nidal Actually there are a lot more features Android in general and Samsung specifically has over iOS but he didn't mention them. Obviously biased towards Apple. PS spending money in an iPhone 13 Pro Max is a joke. There's a big screen with big icons. There's nothing to take advantage of that real estate. As for resale value? 9 out 10 Apple users never get to actually use the SoC but they pay top dollar for it.

Once you start using multitasking or multiwindow, you can't go back. Use it once, then you'll know. I made a switch from iOS to android because I felt trapped in IOS. Use a smartphone how it's supposed to be used. Don't compromise just so that you can have apple. People buy apple mostly for bragging rights. They think that phone gives them status. lol

@Asal Nidal you have settings to tailor it. And always you can swap app positions if it gets blocked, i.e. if you are texting. And if you want to copy, drag and drop, refer a video or article or image you better have multitasking. It's not just split screen, it's popup windows, minimizing apps etc. use it first. No matter what, apple fanboys wouldn't back off from justifying apple. I am talking about people who use their phone. Not appliable for fanboys. Majority of People buy iPhones mostly for bragging rights. To get their work done, they'll always have iPad or tab or laptops. If you say people don't brag, then you are living in a cave. And one more thing, if you want your phone just for calls and basic stuff and are willing to sacrifice all other features just for that fruit logo, then it's better to buy $400 iPhone. I have no beef with that. Trust me, you wouldn't do that. Don't become a sheep. For the record, I own a 6s and s9. Maybe next year I'll upgrade. At the end of the day, it's your wish.

6. Always on display 7. USB C Charging and devices can be plugged in (Hard drives/USB sticks etc.) 8. Dual sim 9. Side loading apps 10. Run whatever launcher you want

When discussing the s-pen, everyone always discusses drawing and note taking. To me, by far the best thing about the s-pen is photo editing! It's like having a Wacom tablet built in (ish)! The level of additional precision is amazing. Given how many people take pictures every single day I am always surprised this is not mentioned more often.

the ability to extract text and an image from literally anything makes it worth it. Best feature of all. The photo editing precision is just a bonus

I'm deep into the Apple ecosystem and a few months ago I threw a Note into the mix. For business all 5 of these you just mentioned is the reason why my Pro Max is collecting dust right now. It just does so much more than the iPhone. Yeah, my Apple watch is useless right now but I get more done per day on my Note currently.

@@c2w200 You mean at least every 3-4 years, which is how long most people keep their phone for before upgrading. Samsung provides 3 years of OS updates and at least 4 years of security updates.

I work for a cell phone carrier, and so I sell iPhone and S21 regularly. Once I demonstrate all the features of the S21 Ultra (100x zoom, Galaxy Labs "Object Eraser", directors view, DeX Mode, screen mirroring that works with Xbox Game Pass effectively turning your phone into an Xbox, wireless power share, etc) they are blown away and can *only* respond with saying one of three things: Eco system Blue bubbles FaceTime It's really a shame Apple is allowed to rob people for things Samsung literally offers.

There is absolutely nothing shocking about people valuing those three things over something like a 100x that you will rarely use, it's simply a matter of priorities for the average person, it's really not a big deal lol.

It's not as if a phone with 100x zoom only has 100x zoom lol S21 vs iPhone 12 (both base models) -- the S21 spanks iPhone in features + it's cheaper yet most people will still decide to get iPhone.

@@VegaMyster truthfully, most people don't take advantage of most of the features on their phones. While I was in college struggling with a very slow computer and having sold my PS4 to feed myself, having an S21 would've been great to have as it could've been my computer to some extent + gaming console. But as I have it today, I don't really have a true reason to use Dex or suffer potential lag times with Game Pass streaming to my TV from my S21.

Both these phones are purely luxury, i used an old Galaxy S5 while my main phone got repaired and honestly there was nothing wrong with it other than the battery life wasn't great but it was easy to replace, either one of these phones won't be used to their full potential by most people.

I died at the notch on the TV 🤭 ... Saki's way of telling in denial iphone users who still say "its not that bad!".

No ones defending it, but with my experience on the iPhone 12’s when I watch a video it cuts off at the notch and the two gaps are blacked out. With the OLED screen the blacks are so good it blends in with the notch and the screen looks awesome.

A TV does not have a punch hole as well, so what is the mocking here. Also a TV does not have today a facial recognition system, and I mean a proper one not like the one you have in Samsung. The fact is that up till now the only way to house such a complicated facial recognition system was using the notch. Now Apple minimized it by 20 percent. On the other hand, Android has a punch hole but a lousy finger and facial recognition systems and yes, a punch hole. So no vendor now has the best solution coupled with the best user experience.

@@shrtal He just shown TV as an example of how much interuption the notch can cause. You would not have noticed the punch hole on a TV display even if he would have shown it. Samsung has already eliminated even the punch hole as well on the latest fold. And it's funny you said the finger print and facial recognition are lousy, that shows you have no idea at all how fast they are on the latest Galaxy devices.

They've been a lifesaver when my laptop has died at school. I can use it to take notes, annotate documents, project onto a screen, use the printers, etc... I use OneDrive so all of my stuff is right there any time I need it.

I've been a Samsung user since the S4 but before that I was in the process of becoming one of the many apple users so a few good people around me showed me the benefits of the Samsung phone vs an Iphone. I have not regret the decision I have made back then and I won't regret still using a Samsung. Right now I cannot wait for the S21 FE edition and what it will feature - got my S20 FE 5G now and still very happy with it.

The only thing that sucks on Android is 3rd party camera app support. Instagram , Snapchat, Tiktok , Skype even Google Duo aren't optimised for Android compared to iPhones. That results in poor image and video quality on those apps ( Stories,posts etc.) compared to the iPhone apps

I just recently bought my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra from my local Best Buy not too long ago, and I have to say, after using it for a while I never regretted with my decision in buying it at all. From the moment I entered Best Buy with all the other smartphones lined up for display, Samsung products were the ones that stood out the most for me. Especially the fold series. My dad was taken aback when I explained to him that it's a phone that you literally could fold and multitask all in one with. He was completely mind-blown and hooked that he wanted to buy one right away, lol! I guess it was his first time seeing a phone that could actually do that sort of thing, lmfao! In fact, my dad already has a Samsung phone (forgot which kind tho lol). And so does my mom, but that was more or less given to her by my grandpa (she doesn't know anything about phones). 😄 But I guess that is to say my grandpa chosen Samsung as well, lol! Why does everyone in my family have a Samsung phone, lol? With that said, my new phone is like my personal baby now. My pride 'n joy. My entire world! I could literally do SO many things that I couldn't compare to my old phone. But I guess the one thing that really sealed the deal for me in choosing Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra over iPhone 13 Pro Max was how my local retailer at Best Buy was such a cool dude in knowing how to advertise and sell a product. In fact, he even has a Samsung phone, too (S20, though). Another Samsung user. What a coincidence, lol! I also plan on buying the latest S22 for Christmas as a present for myself. 😊 P.S. You forgot #6, Mr. KZreadr. Samsung has a cooler name and theme. Galaxy. 🌌 😎

I can't stand my s20+ everything looks like trash on it compared to apple. Memes are blurry videos are blurry. I had the 7 plus five years ago and I still think about it. It's unbelievable how horrible Android apps are developed compared to iOS. I haven't even paid off my s20+ fully yet and I can't wait to throw it in the trash. It's gonna be so satisfying. @@manz4613 Well, you are wrong, taking the photos with the 108mpx lens in the s21 ultra provides much more detail, and also using the pro mode in photos also allows a level of manipulation of aperture, bokeh and white balance, than the iPhone 12 or 13 allow. I am humbly a filmaker and I own almost all the top smartphones, and so far the s21 ultra continues to give better professional results than anyone else. the only one that matches it in certain image and photo quality results is the one plus 9 pro when you do the tests... the iphone 12 and 13 have something particularly very good and that is to record in ProRes Code which presents a bit more quality than the H264. It is a good smartphone but it has fallen behind in most things.

@@onedollasnake gladly s21 ultra upgrade to iphone 13 in: - better screen; resolution and ppi, HDR10+. - better design, it is perceived more avant-garde and modern. - Camera: 4 lenses with better natural bokeh in photos and videos, pro mode that allows absolute manipulation of the aperture, focus and blur, iso in 8k 24fps and 4k 60fps with impeccable stability, better quality with 108mpx for advertising works printed, pro mode in photography achieving a mirrorless or DSRL level. Without mentioning the functionality offered by one ui 3.1 and 4.0 unified with the superb versatility of andorid when it comes to transferring multimedia to your workstation. The iphone 12 and 13 are very good smartphones and I think that the ProREs codec is better than the H264 because it preserves a little more quality when using the footage for editing, but unfortunately Apple is falling far behind to try to preserve an identity that no longer makes sense on their devices. Never be fanatical with any brand, always stay objective beyond your tastes ...

This shit of saying that company X destroys company Y, it's just dumb. I have both the Galaxy S21 Ultra and the Iphone 12 Pro Max. I'm currently using the S21U, and I've always prefered Samsung over any other company, but Iphones offers solid experience in UI. Iphone almost never lags, has a fantastic battery management that no company has it, and has built in funcionalities for confort that Samsung doesen't top, or any other company for the matter. It's a different game. But of course, in many aspects Samsung is better, that's why I prefer it. Iphone seems to "encage" you, with little options for customization. What I mean is that Iphone is a great phone, Samsung too.. but they're built for different people and situations.

I agree... the S21 Ultra is far better than the IPhone in terms of features and customization. The design of the S21 Ultra is beautiful! Iphone looks good too, but the S21 Ultra has that Cyber, elegant design.

Neither phone completely quote "destroys" each other. I've always used the latest Samsung and iPhone's and they are always very close.

Because I don’t want my phone to unlock every time, sometimes I just want to see my notifications and what about when my phone is on my car mount? Imagine driving around and having your phone unlock every time you might glance at it. The additional swipe up is there just for these reasons. Also Apple has had a patent on in screen fingerprint scanner before any androids had them but Apple’s version would work anywhere on screen. Apple probably isn’t happy with how it’s working thus far and that’s why they haven’t released a phone with it yet.

They are saving these features for future iphones so that if they ever run out of new ideas, they will just grab a pre existing feature of android and add it as a new feature of future iphone. For example - giving good to excellent battery life in 13 line up, this could have been done before easily but they didn't do it so that in future they would sell new iphones with "better battery" life. Another example is addition of ports in New macbook series.

@@shrtal I agree with you ALMOST 100%. The difference to me is simple... When Samsung got rid of their removable battery & SD card support in their Note series, I switched to the LG V10. Because, while I was a HUGE Note "fan", having one since the very first one, I wasn't willing to let Samsung "dictate" to me. I only switched back to the Note series when they returned MicroSD support... AND, I did this even though they still didn't have a removable battery, because NO ONE ELSE did either. Android users, windows phone users are NOT people who think "their phone company" is perfect, and they're NOT willing to "settle". Apple/iPhone users on the other hand, are not only willing to settle, they make any & every excuse as to why Apple refuses to put out features other companies have had FOR YEARS! I always laugh when an iPhone uses tells me "look at what my IPhone can do now." I tell them that's great... "My Android phone has had that feature for YEARS, and it's much improved as well." But... The REAL "deal-breaker" for ME is that while I can personalize my phone pretty much like I want to, Apples response is "this is the way We do it... If you don't like it, SCREW YOU! I'm seriously considering (and probably will) switching to another brand of phone, if Samsung discontinues the Note line... Apple could regress the iPhone 3-4 generations, and iPhone users would buy it anyway... LOL

I may or may not use dex to bypass the bar on casting yahoo sports (I don't yahoo, fuck off) used wireless powershare on my watch and my coworkers phone this week, filled out pdf type paperwork using the s spen to fill in the blanks, and the multitasking to use chrome and find info for said paperwork. Endless combinations of uses. Yall need to expand your boundaries lol

Because Samsung rushes to put out features but doesn’t optimize any. Samsung has 12 gigs of ram but can keep as many apps open as iPhones. They have a 120hz screen but in slow motion you can see it stutter. 10x zoom is great but how many people actually use it. 104 megapixel camera is getting beat by a 12 megapixel camera in many situations. Being first or just throwing out spec numbers doesn’t tell the whole story but android users don’t care because their arguments are always “my phone has better spec this” but lack the understanding that the only time it actually matters in on paper. Samsung would be better if they actually tried optimizing their features

The biggest thing for me too is customization. When it comes to Samsung no one can beat that! I've had an iPhone and I never thought that I would ever be team android until I had to get a cheap one out of necessity, and once I did I never looked back! It took me a while to get used to it but once I got the hang of it that was it... Lol I never realized how much more I could do on Android. Apple is so boring 💤 you can't do anything on it.

I was seriously going to go for IPhone 13. Been in love with my Galaxy S7edge. It's 3G. I have to get a new phone come the New Year. The fact that the IPhone 13 with the Pro's having a 120 refresh rate and still no always on display is such a deal breaker. I am an Apple user in computers, FCP is a big deal for me. Air Drop is so cool. But the simple features that my S7 Edge offers; no notch, always on display, on screen multitasking still not present in the 13 is, just like, what gives Apple? most of the things he mentioned are pretty useless. you arent going to be using dex on daily basis and power share you wont be using much because the battery of galaxy buds are very small and it takes like 10 minutes to charge to 50%. and he says that the chip is going to waste as he is editing and exporting pictures when iphones are much better in those categories

Knowing how greedy Apple is, if there is something similar like DEX on Iphone that phone would cost around 3K

I have a Galaxy S10 and am quite happy with my phone. I switched from Apple to Samsung based on the cool feature that Apple couln't provide like a headphone jack, the micro SD card expandible up to 512 GB, and the charger that was included with the phone. All that is gone on the new S21, so I ask myself why bother buying a new Samsung? It's not surprising that the S21 sales are tanking. Customers feel betrayed by Samsung.

The notch cut out on the iPhone, it's horrible! and really ruins the phone. What's even funnier is that people go out and actually buy them....

I’ve always been an Android user until the past 8 months or so. I’ve been using the iPhone 12 Pro Max and can honestly say I can’t wait until I go back to android. I miss the WiFi direct feature that android has. I would use it on a regular basis to screen share for movies, KZread, etc. I don’t have WiFi at home so Apple AirPlay is pretty useless to me. I also miss the ability to have several screens going at the same time. iPhones are very nice phones, they just don’t serve my needs as well as android does.

I had samsung for years and got the iPhone 12 pro max and had it for 3 months and finally sold it and got the note 20 ultra, I missed all the stuff samsung had and I used, I don't get what people see in iphones, they don't have crap and boring and they do freeze now and then and never had it to freeze on my samsung.

excluding the S-Pen, all the features you showed also work on the S20 FE which costs 400 € in my city. LOL. My S20 FE 5G is simply Amazing.

The way you breakdown these phones will make anyone switch to Samsung, I watched your videos on the note 10 before it came out and got it the day it was released, ended up going back to iPhone but damn it Im getting the s21 lol good content as always ak

One thing that I’ve always appreciate for is that in android smartphone you can install some games that you wished to try but not sure if it deserve to be purchased in, also you can install some modded apps that does basically what premium would do so why waist few dollars every month!

Good lock custom themes would be another valid point as well.

The split screen and download videos and mp3 directly to your phone without having to plug your phone into a computer is such a game changer.

I tried switching to iOS again but there are two features that I can't understand why they don't have it without a work around. One of them is watching KZread on PiP that you have to use "shortcuts" to have and the other one is whenever you're on a video call through WhatsApp, if you want to minimize the call and see something else, it simply shut down the camera. So, I ended up switching back to S21 Ultra and I don't regret at all.

Good thing about iPhone is 4K Dolby vision video recording :)

Actually there is 2 phones that aren't a Samsung or Apple phone that is made specifically for gamers. One of them is made by Lenovo and can't think of the name for other one right now; but both have a cooling system and huge ass battery that allows you to play games for hours. Plus it comes with other accessories. You should check them out if your a huge gaming freak. Personally I think the Lenovo is the better one.

For me, some are going for the Iphone because of how compatible it is with 3rd party apps aka social media. Images/Videos captured stay true when uploaded unlike some Android devices. However, I agree that features and ease of use and design(maybe), android will always be ahead of Apple. In the end, It's all about preference and on how the phone works based on your daily work/activities.

Well I’m having trouble with notifications like WhatsApp and Snapchat on my S21 ultra. I see the icons but I never hear them I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling them. I’ve tried tinkering with the notifications settings not working.

Curious if samsung still has that kind of weird quality when it comes to social media like snapchat and instagram stories where their camera is pixelated or i have no clue why

100% true! I'm not a fan of both sides but agreed with you sir. Every year technologies, our needs, and many more are changing rapidly, so people always finding new experiences, new features, they want to try something new. This video is so practical! there's no doubt that the apple's chip is stronger than the androids but in real world usage and performance there's no big and noticeable difference based on my experiences.

A lot of spec comparison but higher specs don't automatically mean a better phone. The Iphone with 6 GB RAM can hold about the same apps open in the backgroend as the 16 GB on the Samsung. The iPhone has a smaller battery, also in the 12 Pro max but beats the Samsung in battery comparison in the most comparisons I've seen. Now the 13 Pro Max has even better battery with 2.5 hrs extra battery usage in comparison to the 12 Pro Max. Better resolution indeed but at normal viewing distance you won't notice the difference. The iPhone 13 Pro now has even brighter screens for normal content in comparison to the Samsung, 1000 nits in comparison to 820 nits. For HDR content the Samsung is brighter. The 100 x zoom is nice indeed. 108 MP pictures are hardly used by most people and has worse dynamic range. 8K video is a gimmick. Fingerprint is less secure than Face ID. The iPhone 13 has an automatic macro lens that can even focus closer than the Samsung.

iPhone also have a macro camera what r u talking 🙄 and I guess you zoom on a photos a LOT because 108mp is only needed if you always zoom photos. Otherwise 108mp DO NOT MAKE PHOTO QUALITY BETTER.

Android has really bad software. All apps look better and run better on iOS. I have an s20+ and it's not even paid off yet and I ordered the 13 pro max. The entire time I've had the s20 I missed my 7 plus from 5 years ago because I still remember how much better everything looked. I would see if you can get a hold of a friend's and look at their FB feed before switching. I said this to someone and the said "that's because you got a bad phone." A 1200 dollar phone is apparently a "bad phone". The reality is it doesn't matter how much money you throw on Android. You still get the same software with the same devs not delivering the same experience because they don't want to, or because they were PAID not to.

Hello can you do battery drain test comparison on the iphone 13 and the Samsung s21?

Honestly Apple's design and software experience has always for the most part been the industry standard but now not only has Samsung great improved in every area but has proved to be a better choice for being more productive on a day to day basis. Samsung isn't perfect but compared to the Apple it just makes sense.

Samsung will never be better then apple, only if they make their own OS. Samsung apps and google apps, android and samsung, its just messy, clean android or ios will allways be better.

wouldn't say "now" but would say years since apple has been out of the game. since more and more competitors have come to the table in the last 5 ir 6 years on the android side, i cannot see a future where Apple becomes king like the first 3 or 4 years when it first launched. dead and buried. its like asking a homeless person to get a job and their life back. most are stuck in that rut. Apple users are stuck in their own rut.

@@bober1019 like how? Apps are better, battery is better, chip is way better, build quality is better, resalevalue is way better, OS updates for 6 years. Its wateresistant to 6 meters for 30 mins. Iphones are refined and poished product, cameras and displays are Amazing,

@@vikinnorway6725 please take into account the subjects covered in this video as i hate repeating. then subtract your own personal stance on what you think better is and your are left with a better battery experience on the apple side. that is the ONLY advantage. cameras have been covered by many many articles and its in pare with what samsung is offering on their somewhat old s21 lineup. for the OS and apps, you can do anything on android. you are not locked in by big brother Apple. your are simply infatuated by looking your device doing NOTHING.

When a restaurant is selling hot cakes.. make it good enough so they can build a fan base and proceed as time base changes, never change the key ingredient that made people come to you. Apple reminded me of a good beef 🥩 stake that cooks slow and well done. While other phone 📱 platforms are like the 50s when people discover microwave and fast food.. short cut to eating fast and buffet . Samsung is like a buffet they gave u all the food but only eat 2 or 3 items. Idk if it makes sense

There's no such thing as a good slow‐cooked beefsteak. That is not how you cook a steak. But if a restaurant pumps billions of dollars into marketing, it can fool a lot of low information people into thinking a tough overcooked beefsteak is desirable.

Same! I was between iPhone 13 pro max vs S21 Ultra.

Can you tell if the Samsung galaxy ultra s21 uses sd card well I think thas the only thing missing if it does not use it,

I have always had a Galaxy device since the Galaxy S1, however, I am finally making the switch to iPhone. All five things that you mentioned are gimmicky and most people don't use them. I am almost certain that if Apple saw the value in those features for an every day use, they have the ability to make them part of their product offering. However, being that non of these things are new or cutting edge, I have to believe that they just don't want to because it adds no value.

Exactly! I have note 20 ultra and prefer to use my iPhone 11 Pro Max most of the time. I prefer a true Face ID unlock system with the NOTCH compared to a lousy 2D and under display FP unlock system.

I am thinking to do the same- at least Apple has their own ecosystem and custom apps. What is the point in having a crazy good camera when you try to upload it through an app, and it gets made to look like crap because that app needs to support every android phone with a play store apps?? This is why photos always "look" and feel better on iPhone.

Both phones are clearly excellent. But I value the split-screen multitasking, wireless charging, S-pen and USB-C on my Galaxy Note 9. Also use an S21 Ultra for work specifically for photography and video. the 8K video is sensational.

If samsung just added high refresh rate and ultra wide angle lens on the note 9, then this will be my phone that will last 5 years.

My biggest frustration with Apple right now is the lack of a fingerprint scanner to unlock. Having to type an unlock code because you're wearing a face mask 😷 is ridiculous.
