Good diet that is species appropriate is absolutely necessary to avoid lot of the health issues. I feed raw and wet and add extras like egg yolk and krill oil. I noticed with this diet I don’t have to deal with lot of the usual health issues mentioned here. Also his coat doesn’t mat as much but we still shave him as it’s way more practical for everyone involved. Don’t bother to feed kibble with these cats especially they need lots of of moisture to stay healthy.
A lot of brushing and cleaning.Good diet also.They are great cats.If you start bathing them and grooming when young and maintain it,They are easier to keep up with.
