Hello! I got my tourist visa last October 2021 and went to the US for tour last December 2022. I got my visa before I met my American BF, now my fiancé. I stayed with him for my entire tour there, (Almost a month). We have a lot of photos and also some photos together with his family. My question is, is it necessary for him to come with me in the Philippines so we can have family photos with my family too? What we have were only screenshot photos when we video call with my kids, since it's one of the requirements on applying a fiancé visa. We are still settling something for him to come with me in the Philippines but because he is planning to apply a fiancé visa for me soon. Thank you and hoping for your positive response. God Bless.🙏

Financials are not required for the K1 petition. It’s required for adjustment of status

I have a question, if the beneficiary was once arrested for a shoplifting crime in their foreign country for an item that was worth $10 and was not convicted but was let go on a warning? We are preparing for the interview. We haven’t filled up the D160 form yet , on the i29 form we only included the petitioners criminal history . Well only now include the beneficiary’s criminal history. Will this be an issue

I have a bf since april 2019, I am currently in Europe as an aupair po and nag meet na din kami dito. First meeting was Oct 2022 after that I applied for b1b2 visa (not declaring my bf) but got denied. This december my bf visited me again in Europe and became my fiance. I tried my luck with b1b2 again Feb 06, 2024 (didn't declared him ). Now we decided to proceed with K1 this March. Will this affect our application? Thank you!

Hello! Me and my fiancé recently got engaged and he has a previous ex in the PH where he signed the birth certificate of the child. Then later figured that the kid isn’t his child. Should we still state that he has a child since he signed the birth certificate? They already have no contact for many years now.

You are already divorced in Dubai and filed another divorce in the Philippines? You should file recognition of divorce in the Philippines instead. Contact a lawyer in the Philippines

Depends on the reason for denial. Fix it, make sure you both meet the eligibility requirements then refile

i’m at the final stage with my fiancé who is in Manila and the people that put together our package are saying that we need to have a police clearance from Hong Kong because she worked there for 10 years even though she hasn’t worked there in the last three years do you know if this is still true? I reached out to the Embassy since there’s no information that states that that’s required at first and the embassy referred us back to the NBI which is the police report from Manila they didn’t say that we needed to get the one from Hong Kong do you know if this provision has been changed?

As long as you are complete with your polio vaccine and other required vaccines, you should be good but the clinic and US embassy will make the final decision

It gets annoying how I hear this point repeat it over and over again that people with certain criminal charges cannot get a K-1 visa. That is complete nonsense. The only charges that will stop you from getting a K-1 visa are charges that are sexual in nature.

You can get married anywhere in the USA once the beneficiary arrives in the USA on the K1 visa

ma'am my fiancee had 4 conviction because of drugs and 1 for trespassing. he already had waiver . and consult to a lawyer before filing a petition. and that happened like 17 to 20 years ago. the lawyer said it will not affect the petition. since it's not about sexual or murder. is it really fine?

those drug convictions has been filed before when drug is still illegal in US. but now he already stop using it. though right now US legalize the use of drugs.

Hello I would really appreciate your answer to my question In 2019 I applied for a tourist visa and I made a mistake by saying I was married and I was Denied for that because they know I was lying And that same 2019 two months after i applied gain for the tourist visa and this time I put single on my application and the visa officer said that two months before I said I was married and now I’m saying single and I explained to her that was mistake, I totally explained to her that was mistake because it was an agent that helped me with the application and i really don’t understand how it works, I actually accepted responsibility of my actions and I apologized to the visa officers, and I was denied again And in 2022 I applied for a student visa two different times and I was denied and all both application it’s single on my application. I have an American boyfriend that I met online since 2021 and we plan getting engaged in January 2024 and apply for the k1 visa. My question is the made I made 2019 on my tourist visa by lying by saying I was married when I was not , do you think it will affect my k1 visa application being denied because when filling the k1 visa there are sections that asked if I have been divorced and I choose single will it contradicts what I said in 2019 on my tourist visa that I lied by saying I was married when I was not which I later explained later on my other visa application by saying I was single.
