Had my periods for the month of August 2023 which lasted for seven days which was the same rollercoaster I have had each month of this year. Great video keep up the good work.
How are you like this… the only man to talk about periods like this…. Bravo👏
1. Natural biodigretable pads are generally costly, 2. Menstrual cups are not that much easy to carry for everyone, 3. Clothes pads are sometimes not enough to prevent leaking during heavy flow....... So we girls have to go with commercial pads. But something we can follow : 1. Change pads within 4 to 5 hours; 2. During pads change wash vaginal area properly; 3. During less flow switch to clothes pads; 4. Drink more water during periods for urination...... And most importantly do not prevent urination forcefully.

Vivek, I am a big fan of your work. This generation needs you. I am sure everyone who watches your video tries to follow some tips in their daily life. Keep doing the good work 😊
I'm glad that only by listening to my body I was able to do most of what was said above. There are time when I needed to take a shower but often times I bathe with warm water. Also I switched to menstrual cups and washable menstrual undies since last year. Except I still drink coffee on a daily basis, had some sweets (not all the time) but I rest my body well because I cannot function well, I also wear warm clothes and socks. It simply feels good. Thank you for proving me right. :)
This guy is simply a gem of a person. Bringing this topic in detail was the most needed topic not just for girls' health but also to understand the basic other factors during periods we should care about. Thank you Fit Tuber.. keep up the great work.

I’m definitely going to be looking into organic pads. I notice when I free bleed (with a towel) at night, my cramps dissipate. When I wear a pad at night (the non-organic kind), I have serious cramps. I even wore a “nighttime” off-brand version of a pad one time at night, and my stomach started cramping so bad I had to take it off. I know they are full of chemicals. Thanks for the video!
When a lot of males are busy dismissing the pain that period brings and not seeing any need for period leave, here is a mature real man. Your video was really very informative especially the bit with Epsym salt. I am going to use that. Also thank you for pointing out that it is unhealthy to take a head bath during periods. I always avoid it because it really messes up the circulation of my body. Even for bathing I use lukewarm water which matches my body's temperature. Another great video. Please keep it up

I had severe cramps in my lower abdomen, right thigh and back every month. The first entire day i used to scream on top of my voice, second day i would look like a group of people bet the shit out of me and threw me on a road , 3rd day i would be lying like a corpse and only stood up going to the bathroom.I got married at the age of 26. My husband saw me screaming in pain, Finally he found a homeopathy doctor. I took medicines for 3 months as suggested, it was budget friendly and no side effects.. Today i travel and do yoga/workout on the first day of my period.. Homeopathy changed my life and the doctor was sent by God to me and the girls like me who is dealing with these problems.❤❤❤❤

Mam please dont try to be over smart, indians always had profound knowledge about periods and there were ceremonies for young girls on the 1st day of 1st period. Only after islamic occupation when women were confined to homes to save them from abduction did these practises were lost spl in north india. Please dont blindly listen to feminists. You can read the wonderful book "ritu vidya" by sinu joseph, about all indian practises and celebration of periods. My mom from my very 1st period till now always makes sure that I don’t eat specific food with cooling effects like rice, curd .citrus fruits, banana, cold drink , simple white milk(always add something in it) I always thought this is all rubbish but now as I am growing up I realise 1:43 she is right. I see many girls around me with severe issues with their periods (irregularity, cramps). There is always a scientific reason behind traditional practices . Thankyou for making modern woman aware about these facts.

I and my two daughters eat everything during periods but we don't have any problems or pain etc. It doesn't apply to everyone.

Dear Ayushi, thanks for sharing your thoughts. could you please share the list of food which you normally prefer/intake during periods.

@@shalinik3376 As such there are not list of food which I prefer but definitely list of food I don’t eat for 5 days Curd, rice, citrus fruits, banana grapes ,cold things like soft drinks ice creams plain white milk add anything to it . Recently I have also started avoiding refined flour food like pasta, maggie ,pizza as it increases cramps and bloating. Just basic thing is don’t consume food or drinks which have ‘thandi Taseer’ I hope it will help you. But , it’s okay if you eat everything and have normal cycles . Every woman body is different.
It was a high time we needed this video. Even most women don't have very clear knowledge about this but thanks to this man, we are getting more and more aware about it. I would even recommend men to watch this video as they should understand what a woman goes through during this time and stop saying this a taboo. I know many men are making themselves aware about it and even give their care to the women around them like their mother, sister, daughter, their partner and friends during this time. A very well presented and informative video... 😊👏🏻

Hi Vivek! Thanks for a great video 👍👍👍. Thankyou for being sensitive to a woman's needs and requirements during menses. I am proud of you as a man who could present it so honestly. Thankyou once again 🙏🙏🙏
So proud of you brother, for putting this topic together and awareness, as it's high time everyone should be aware of periods
Thanks so much for the care and concern. 🙏
Always appreciate ur work and efforts u put on research.. thanks for imp info..
I am 40 and learnt today so many things which no one told me till today.....thank you so much from the bottom of the heart as your explanation was completely scientifically backed and was convincing else I would have ignored it
One more point that might help- the deficiency of iron is a very common thing scene and often ignored my majority of woman unless it gets critical. If by any chance regularly eating greens is not possible, intake of triphala helps the body absorb iron much more efficiently.taking triphala as a habit would greatly help ,after consulting an Ayurvedic physician the right dose and timings for the woman body type. Precaution that needs to be taken is not to have triphala during the period days as it would increase the blood flow.Pregnant woman and woman taking medicine to lower sugar must also never take this unless with the prescription of a doctor. Hope this helps 😊
Thanks for this helpful information... I would definitely going to apply these thing. Cuz i always experience difficult symptoms during my period. So i guess this informative is truthful. Thank you 💞 🙏

I followed the tips in this video this month , I kept away from cold foods and junk foods and didn’t wash my hair and bathed in warm water. The pain was so less this time compared to what usually happens. Thank you for the wonderful advice. God bless you !

Very educational and helpful information. Thank you so much
thank you so much for this video! i have one question: you said, that the salads are better avoided since they have a cooling effect on the body. but for restoring the magnesium and iron content you have adviced to consume green vegetables like gourd family, capsicum, green pumpkin and leafy greens. how would it be best to consume it? cooked or would it be also helpful to consume them raw? like the green capsicum and leafy greens in a salad for example? thank you again for the amazing work you are doing!
Thank you so muchh for this video!!! @fittuber I am sure you have got thousands of blessings of women all over the world...I really appreciate your efforts for this!💯👏

Women in my family told me so many do's and dont's for periods, but none of them were for my benefit or backed by facts. Your video is truly informative and useful for teenage girls struggling with no proper support from family.
What an amazing explanation from an expected Brother ❤👏 God bless you 🙏 👏 🙌 ❤️
You aptly described in this video what our body naturally discourages during our special ladies days. I dont feel like eating oily heavy stuff n even a fresh carrot or cucumber looks so tempting. Clearly my body craves fresh foods. I also dont feel like a head bath on the first 2 days and now I know why. Dry coconut, til n jaggery is what my granny used to encourage us to eat when we started periods as teens. Again now I know why. You have cleared so many doubts in this video. God bless ! Only thing i dont like is using a cloth pad. Its extremely low absorbing compared to a commercial one n where do we dry it ? If not washed n dried properly then it's basically another invitation to disease which was why people changed to commercial pads in the first place. My mom used cloth when I was little n its really difficult to dry them in small apartments. It's ok if one has a big garden or backyard. The apartment smells different when cloth dries n its embarrassing in front of other members.
