The strength of cities linked to the best melee unit is usefull even in single player, idk how I've not ever seen that.
Herson, single-handedly ruining the the game for CPL rank farmers.

As someone who only has experience with single-player, that city project tip blew my fking mind
Thank you for your Content Senpai!
frankly most of these apply to single-player too. It's just that the AI civs are bad enough in the late game that you can recover from the mistakes.

Great video! Would love to see another like this because your opening statement is so true
Thanks for the content. I would love to see an era by era guide for hitting golden ages.
Thanks for another great video! Keep em coming 🎉
Hi herson I’m not sure wether to prioritize long distance settles on coast or lake tiles instead of short settle inland tiles for naval civs
The problem is that there's no fun way to get good at multiplayer. The disparity in skill is too great.

I'm in the same position, sounds like novice lobbies in Civ 6 multiplayer discords are the best answer
In one of your long FFA videos you mentioned that one of your cities was really bad - that all it was doing was using up amenities and not contributing anything. It made me wonder if there's a limit to the number of cities you want to get? Seems like it would always be better to have more cities if the game continued forever, but since it ends it's a tradeoff between getting the city up and running fast enough that its districts or production contribute to the win condition... Would be interested in hearing your take on it. I love strategy games, and this one goes deep. Thanks for the in-depth content bro.

Thanks for one more amazing video, do you actually have alienor play uploaded? Would be my pleasure to watch

I have the full Eleanor VOD saved on my computer, but unfortunately that game ended up being called prematurely on turn 75 as a result of technical issues stemming from a player losing connection. The ending is rather unceremonious and anti-climactic, so I deemed it not worth uploading here.

@@HersonCiv got it, so I would be glad to observe the way you develop French Alienor if you had an opportunity to. It also looks like with the latest buff +20% to early wonders it's incredibly playable now
killing that 1-5 for EC at 7:56 was painful to watch :D
I'm thinking of joining the multiplayer community soon, but so far I have been playing the single player through Epic Games (with mods). For multiplayer I should get it on steam too, right? So the mods can update automatically or something
@HersonCiv

If you want to play Civ 6 Multiplayer, you'll have a much easier time if you buy the game on steam. Like you said, it'll allow mods to automatically update through the steam workshop. Furthermore, it's believed that lobbies hosted on one platform are less prone to technical issues than the "unified" lobbies which allow both Epic and Steam players in them, and Steam has a substantially larger multiplayer player base than Epic does.

Your best bet is get the complete package, Civilization VI Anthology, from the Steam Summer Sale(starts June 27th). It will be very reduced($6US last Steam sale) and has everything you'll need to play on either CPL or CivFR, the two largest online Civ communities.
hi Herson! Love your videos! i just started multiplayer and found myself wasting a lot of time trying to click on the city center attack. because I had to zoom in if there is a unit in the city. is there a easier way to do it?

Hey, do you have a guide or clip for setting up a multiplayer game (what options, rules, mods are you usually picking)?

I don't have a video on this topic, but I can tell you here. I play in CPL (which you can find at the website cpl.gg) with the mods Better Balanced Game, Better Balanced Starts (or, recently, its competitor Better Balanced Maps), and Multiplayer Helper. Some common game settings include: Resources: Abundant Mountain ridges: classic (more gaps in mountain ranges than standard) Barbarians: civilized (fewer barbs than standard) Map type: Either Pangea, Lakes, Highlands, or 7 Seas World Age: New (more hills than standard) These are the regular map settings in CPL. There are also some other rules such as "no more than 2 active alliances at a time in FFA" and "players can only capture and keep one city state each". If you want a full list of those, they're on the CPL website.

Chandragupta: The guup. Guup-Dee-Guup. Guupdeguuppoop? Guupdescoopdeewhoopdeepoop. Anyways , I think it would be really cool to see a Chandra video , as he is the only leader you gave BROKEN in the tier list. When thinking about how to play him , the only concern that comes to mind is being able to keep up scientifically with the free inquiry rats in my lobby playing brazil and Congo. I suppose I could go for only a couple holy sites at the beginning and then focus on commercial hubs or harbors so I can free inquiry my 2nd golden age , but then I run into the problem of not having enough governor titles to recruit magnus and moshka…. What do you think ? How could I play the guupy poopy while not falling behind scientifically in the medieval era ?
@HersonCiv

Generally, Chandragupta is considered a top-tier civ in the Better Balanced Game mod not because of his high-roll potential, but because of his reliability. He has some of the best late-game war bonuses (essentially +3 cs, +1 movement, +1 sight on all units, and all corps/armies are 25% cheaper), and unlike many other civs with strong late-game war bonuses (like Scythia) he has solid enough bonuses during times of peace to stand a good chance at keeping up in science & culture. He's also basically impossible to sabotage in the early game because Varus are arguably the strongest unique unit in the game relative to the era they appear in and he also gets free great general points from his holy sites. Chandra is considered better than other civs not because the civ is great at getting 1st place in 10-player FFA lobbies, but because it can almost always squeak out a 2nd or a 3rd at worst, which still generally results in gaining rating on CPL's leaderboards. You still try your hardest to win, but if you reach turn 75 and you realize there's 3 other people who are all 4 techs ahead of you (meaning they'll beat you in a race to science victory), you can always just go on a rampage with tanks and artillery using your ridiculous war bonuses and conquer enough cities to take 2nd place at worst. It's highly prioritized by strong players in CPL as a civ used to consistently gain rating in strong lobbies. Therefore, I wouldn't really say that Chandragupta is outright better than a civ like Brazil or Kongo, when those civs are generally more likely to actually take 1st place in FFA lobbies than him (with their downside being having no war bonuses and therefore being less consistent and more vulnerable). He's definitely on my list of civs to do a spotlight on, though!
