Absolutely right sir.... I've been training for about 2 years and following old school bodybuilding techniques which are all about basic movements and trust me mujhe bohut acche results mile.... Mere locality mai jo gym hai it has no trainer, no modern equipments only iron rods, plates, few dumbells etc but it's more than enough to build a good physique... All i did over the year is sticking to basics, proper form and movement, progressive overload. Also I learned a lot from your videos too. Thankyou sir 🙏🏻❣️

Appreciate your efforts to bring clarity for beginners. Can you please create a small video on the famous basic exercises done with barbells & some alternatives that can be done. For example, due to my job limitations, I exercise at home only. I have good amount of exercise material weights, barbell & curl rods alongwith good quality resistance bands for pulley exercises but I stuck as I do not have squat rack. For a proper squat, either one should do clean & jerk to raise barbell to shoulder level & that is limited by weight lifting quality of an individual. Coming to the point , can you please suggest certain alternatives as mentioned earlier specifically for legs workout, priority being the conventional squat.

I would also recommend that even before touching barbells, novices should get their foundation strong by getting good at exercises that move the body through space like chin up and parallel bar dip.once, they can do at least 8 chin ups 10 dips and 40 bodyweight squats, they can focus on barbell compounds. When a new trainee tries to bench press an empty barbell, the bar wobbles and he tries to push with his stronger side which in turn might cause imbalances.I know it won't be easy but trust me once your foundation is strong you will be able to progress efficiently without any wobbling bar path or any squat depth issue Bonus tip:-Use chalk before practicing chin ups to avoid excessive bleeding from calluses

@@simply_sophisticated When I was an untrained trainee who can't even do a single push up tried to press an empty barbell,it drifted towards the right side and I felt a sharp pain on my right shoulder girdle. It was extremely excruciating. It was because my joints were not used to press an external resistance.I discontinued barbell movements because of the shoulder pain and was extremely demotivated and was about to quit. After discussing this with others in my gym, they advised me to start from the basics i.e focusing on chin ups, push ups and bodyweight squats. When I switched to barbells after 6 months,I was able to progress without any issues like shoulder pain or bar wobbling etc and now have been trainingfor 3 years.I am just sharing my experience because the key to long to long term consistency is minimizing pain and injury especially as an untrained individual.

Don't get any mass gainers , it's a gaint waste of money , You need to just eat in a small caloric surplus and aim to gain about 250 grams of bodyweight per week , because gaining more will result in gaining more fat rather than muscle , and if you are having trouble to increase your caloric intake just add small things like a little bit more desi ghee to chapati or drinking banana and milk shake or peanut butter with bread etc. Also make sure to eat enough protein aim to eat at least more protein in Grams than your body weight in KGs , aim for about 1.5 grams per kg of bodyweight , that should be enough.

sir recently Virendra Sehwag (on TRS) accused WEIGHTLIFTING as a reason for most Cricket Injuries & called it INEFFECTIVE & gave some gyaan on yoga/stretching being overrated. Please BUST the myths.

@@WeRStupid First of all, Sehwag didn't blame 'weightlifting' for cricketers' injuries in general. He just said that it's not necessary for all cricketers to include 'clean & jerk type heavy weightlifting' workout in their fitness regime like Virat; these 'heavy weightlifting' workouts are creating injuries. Sehwag never accused typical weightlifting exercises like squat, row, OHP etc. of causing injuries. He clearly mentioned in the podcast that there should be specific workout program for every individual according to their role in the game and their own body type. Thanks from Bangladesh.
