The fact that it's not a Porsc-...just kidding. Some real-world 'issues' / annoying things I've found with my 2019 Mercedes C43 AMG so far, and to potentially look out for in other AMG vehicles. Encountered any of these 5 annoying things yourself?

Have you reset trans? Once reset you have 5 gear shifts in sport open learning so that’s when you give it heaps the way you want it to always shift and it learns. Also it’s not a manual so rolling in neutral isn’t recommended ever if it’s possible don’t do it .

hey. if you double click during downshift it will just „hold the gear” for u. simple.

Hey man, I started watching your videos, U and CLA, U switching to C class … bc those 2 are what Im considering for now: CLA45 (older model, not fan of those huge virtual cockpit vs C43 - both for the looks and pops and bangs of course :)). (budget limit 45k € :/ ). … Your personal experience is a huuuge help. Now you pointed out some really annoying things (and Im familiar with few of those from my starting benz A200 amg packet class so I was hopping to avoid those with C class): the transmission/paddles, seats, carplay, squeaking parts … those are really some issues you have to face on daily basis (instead like the head space on back seats for example, which is, besides other things, why I considered c43 over cla45) but now I’m gettin confused again :D. Would love to get a good car with those lovely pops and bangs and I feel stuck. Any tips? Advice? Should I look into other models as well? ... :)) Cheers. Gonna keep watching! Thank You. You mention driving normally and calm to work 5 days a week and then in the weekends have some fun, how much does that cost you in gas every month? I want to be able to drive normally and quietly most of the time, especially during the week when I’m not doing anything and just want a relaxing drive. How many days/weeks could I go with a full tank driving this way with a C43?

Websites and forum say the C43 has a lot of wheel and tire issues. Including; sidewall bubbles, blowouts, and “tyre skipping” where Mercedes released an official statement about tyre skipping in C43. Have you seen any of this at all?

I drove a 2017 c43 yesterday and the best way to describe the shifting in manual is “Jerky” . I was really hoping for better but if I can’t have fun around town going 10-50 mph there’s no point.

Hey, why did you go for the c43 over the c63 or the e63? Taxes, insurance?

Hey mate, about your issue with the media selection, the touch pad in the middle of the car there will be a middle option you can press that will bring up a music selector you can then either swipe on the trackpad or turn the wheel in the middle and you can change track immediately! Hope it helps:) Edit: the rattle may be sunglasses in the sunglass holder in the middle section near the rear view mirror, mine weren’t in properly and rattled before and I could never find it!

@@DrivesbyZH If you just want to change songs during a playlist when you're using Apple Carplay or Android Auto, you can use the left Home button on the steering wheel to switch it from AMG Performance to Media. It'll show up where you currently have the mileage information. That way, you can change songs while having the Engine data or whatever you want on the main screen without needing to ever take your hand off the steering wheel.

How much legroom is in the back of it? Can someone who is 6 foot be ok with a 3 hour journey sat at the back?

No problems at all in the saloon, maybe more so of a problem in the coupe though

Zero issue with my 2020 c43 Coupé as well. Also a good tip is to give atleast 1s in between downshifting

I might be missing something here. But when driving, why would you want to change gear from drive to neutral?

Just press the Voice option on right side of steering wheel and say next song

for playing the next track you can just say: hey siri, next track. this is just working with apple carplay but you said you are using it

Dude.... i got 2020 c43 coupe and i got no problems at all with this transmission. Works perfect in any mode. Do to dealership with your car or just learn how to change the gears.

@@DrivesbyZH Dude this is not c63. If you need tire shredding monster take c63s.. i check my car one more time last night for your issues. My 2020 c43 runs like rocket!!! . I got no issue at all. Try to tune your engine and transmission and will run even better.....

Their is so many ways to control audio in this car. Are we still talking about same car Dude? . You need to spend a little more time with your command unit. Maybe we should talk about serious problems ..... like no gapless mp3 playback??? This is the real issue for me.

Should've just bought a C200 😂😉👍
