5 Minute Overview of the Salesforce Business Analyst Certification

The Salesforce Business Analyst certification is aimed at Salesforce Administrators or Business Analysts who are comfortable with Salesforce’s capabilities in order to understand business needs and challenges, particularly to collaborate with stakeholders and others on the project team towards a successful delivery. ✔️
If you already have hands-on experience and are comfortable following Salesforce best practices - all while using your skills to facilitate project discovery, do process mapping, and write clear and complete user stories - then this exam might be for you. 📚

Thanks for the quick insight on the certification, I cleared my exam on my 2nd attempt. The important thing that worked for me is practicing skillcertpro mock exams as they were very identical to main exam. I would recommend to test takers. Cheers!
great overview! Kanban vs Scrum seemed to be a big focus area, along with Acceptance Criteria vs Definition of Done. This is a great cert for all - those looking to break into a consulting role AND those who have been at it for some time.

Hi there, the Business Analyst certification does not include any coding questions. It's hard to give a concrete answer on how difficult the exam is, as the difficulty of the exam will often be attributed to how many years of experience you have and how long you've studied for it. Hope this helps!
How long would you suggest to put in for preparation for this test? I'm a recent Business Analytics masters graduate with 1 year of Data Analyst experience. I can spend upto 3 hours per day for the prep. Your response would really help me decide on planning the test date. Thanks in advance!

Hi there, certification prep is honestly different for everyone so there unfortunately, it really depends! However, 3-5 months of studying often does most people well. Hope this helps!
Do I need an active admin cert to take this exam?

Hi Ritu, the Salesforce Admin certification is listed as a prerequisite, so you do need it to take on the BA certification. For more details, check out the official Business Analyst exam guide on Trailhead.

Not anymore! The Salesforce Admin Certification certification is no longer a prerequisite for the Business Analyst Certification. Certification guidelines do change periodically so it's important to stay on top on things by consulting the official exam guides if you're not sure. Hope this helps!
