Thank you SO MUCH for this yummy recipe. I didn't have dutch processed cocoa but I did have fair trade organic cocoa by saco foods Aka Saco conscious kitchen.. first time I ever bought this particular cocoa& it gave such a yummy flavor to thee brownies. I also used💚 infused sugar. I included the chocolate chips, but put the pecans I used on the top of the brownies so that whoever has some can see where the nuts are. We have 2 in our Fam that don't care for nuts, but I ❤them.
This is best recipe I've ever made, it's really tasty😋♥️🤤 I'll for sure make it again..

I didn't add the nuts. Be sure to watch how much cocoa powder you add because mine turned into a brownie dark chocolate cake. It was good but tasted very strongly of chocolate like a dark chocolate coffee I think?

Hey the recipe is amazing , wondering if there is any substitute for egg ??
Made 2 batches today - came out perfect. I weighed everything on the scale, flour and cocoa included. They took 35 mins in my oven, and one was a bit more gooey in the middle cause i didnt make it even enough in the pan, but otherwise was a good hit at desert after dinner tonight with guest. Also, i didnt have unsalted butter, and used regular salted butter, and actually i forgot and still added the 1/4 tsp salt but they werent salty at all, just barely taste salt in the background, which amped the flavor. My son like it so much he said to only make them like that! Thanks for an easy recipe that takes no time at all, and gives great results!

@@BakingCherry : can I just bake it for say 40 mins iso 35mins at 180degrees?
@BakingCherry
Жыл бұрын
Time may vary depending on the oven. I suggest you insert a toothpick in the center at about 25-30 minutes of baking. If the batter is raw, you can wait 5-8 minutes more and do the test again until the toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Since this recipe doesn't call for baking powder or baking soda, you can open the oven as much as you want. 😊

For a fudgy brownie, don't add baking powder. I only recommend adding if you prefer a brownie with a cakey texture (about 1/2 teaspoon). But it will taste more like a chocolate cake than a brownie.

For every recipe, the baking time may vary depending on the oven (electric or gas, conventional or convection). That's why it's so important to make the toothpick test.
