Most of you don’t understand the nuance between grouping people by alignment of the stars as to grouping people by character traits that they display. Its not the same as astrology, yes its vague, open to interpretation and doesn’t completely/accurately represent the totality of male personality types. It’s just as pseudoscientific as astrology, you can’t group together things as complex as humans by generalized personality types. Astrology almost does the exact same thing as this “alpha beta” complex is doing today. They both try to simplify humans into groups by personality which is just impossible. There is zero scientific evidence that the Alpha Beta complex exists. It’s all made up so people can falsely simplify the world.

Saying that men who display specific traits, such as more confidence, are more likely to be successful with women and higher up in the social dominance hierarchy is the same as astrology is just a dumb comparison to try and even make. If you want to look at primatology, anthropology or evolutionary psychology to understand that social dominance hierarchies are part of natural human behaviour and there is evidence for this. This isn’t even pseudoscience, they aren’t trying to say why these behavioural traits arise, they are just grouping men by the traits they tend to display.

I’ve had a few alpha male exes and the relationships were often toxic. I thought as somewhat of an alpha female I was when I was younger that that was what I wanted in a man. I know everyone says they’re sigma but I see myself becoming more like that as I got older and more reserved. Now I’m engaged to my fiance who is much like a beta male and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.

Its interesting, how in this type of videos they describe the personality types like actual facts, and not like a theory or just another way to look at things

Exactly, these supposed "types" don't fully apply to just about any man, we all vary from one degree to another.. Never being entirely one particular type. I don't fit in exactly on any of these, and I doubt most men do.. We all possess some of every "type".. the mix depending on many outside factors.. how we grew up, went to school, life experiences.. It's never as simple as this video suggests.

So, the alphas have 10 girlfriends all at once while the betas get the sloppy seconds...
