Self proclamed sigma are alpha wanabes who are aware they are not Chad enough. Almost everyone who have a job (aka work for a boss) are not sigmas because sigmas don't mind to please someone to have a job. Before watching this video, I didn’t know which category I fell into, and I didn’t care. After watching this video, I still don’t know which category I fall into, and I still don’t care.

This is an interesting rankings of Alphas to Gammas. While watching this to the end I felt like I have experienced most of the ranks that has been detailed. That means the rankings is not set in stone on where you are right now. You are a Gamma right now but can become Alpha and you are an Alpha right now but become a Delta later on. It is a mindset.

What I was trying to say was that you can test yourself now and be a delta but later you can test yourself again and results can become alpha. Don’t get me wrong it is not easy thing to change but it is doable.

I think the real messure of test is of a group of people use this ranking system to place you on where they think you fit this system. it's not going to be perfect but if you get a diverse group you can filter out bias observations and get a good messure. but a system like this is bullshit because humans are much more nuance.

It's a phase they'll eventually grow out of - maybe. This is NOT psychology. It's worse than junk science because there's not a bit of science to it at all. They make up the percentages. There's no database where they get these numbers from. It's just people who want to control others with labels. That's all. There is no actual diagnosis for these personalities. NONE. Name every desirable and rare quality you can have and I probably have it, right down to the grey eyes. That is why I am great at basically everything. I was already good at everything, but my rare gifts made me even better in all things. To be able to truly master anything is something truly rare. And it's not automatically something you can do just because you happen to be an alpha or sigma male.

No one likes to admit they are a "type", even though almost everyone is. This is particularly true if you can identify yourself here with an unflattering category and don't want to believe that the types are defined by the essence of who you are. People are good at deluding themselves and so wish to believe the fantasy that they are unsuccessful at work and in their love life merely because they don't care or aren't trying hard rather than because of what they are.

The characterisation is rather hilarious actually - a well spoken pom talking about nerds and psychopaths. However, people don't have to stay in the lane they were born into - they can change and improve themselves.

I think for these categories to be accurate, all 6 categories should be based on men with the same looks. Otherwise, just being tall can get you mistaken for being alpha or having your moms hips can get you mistaken as a gamma.

The 7th highest category is where I alone stand proud!

I consciously pushed myself from Omega to somewhere between Alpha and Sigma between the ages of 13 and 19… 30 years old now and can say this “soul searching” made for quite a long strange trip figuring out this world. Very confident and happy in my body/ mind, career and life overall, but it took some “waking up”. So much of this is all about self confidence and living in the moment more… I regret letting so many years go by at the bottom of the hierarchy as a tall/ handsome young man who unfortunately just didn’t know how to fit in early in life

@Luís Andrade you cant..yes you may be able to do it for some time but gradually you will feel suffocation as you are fooling yourself and pretending to be someone that you are not. Everyone has his own strength. Its better and peaceful when you concentrate on your inner personality.

People shift these throughout their life. A young alpha male basketball player is most likely not going to hold the same position in life after he gets older for example. Everyone deserves love and respect no matter what their rank is

I am totally a SIgma...could have been an Alpha but people ruined that.

I'm 6'1, very attractive, have been training bjj boxing wrestling on and off my entire life, body builder 185 pound physique, double majoring in engineering, in the honors college of my university, going to go to med school, published a paper as an undergraduate, am a recipient of a full ride scholarship that pays me to get my degrees (less than 300 given out this year across the US), own a few small businesses. For everyone saying your a sigma, you're probably a smart beta.

I believe there are only 3 personality types: Alphas (leaders), Betas (followers), and Sigmas (loners). Although each man may have a dominant personality type, I also believe a man can be either of the 3 based on the situation. For example, I predominantly have the traits of a Sigma, but don't mind playing the role of Alpha or Beta if the situation calls for it. Please don't allow videos like this define u.

If you are looking at pattern of behavior, there are more than 3 classifications. Alphas lead and betas follow. They are both social. Some introverts don't like to follow because they have social anxiety. They would like to be part of the group but can't . A sigma seems to describe those that don't want to be part of the group. They're not hoping to be part of the group. They are things people. However they are not retreating into things to cope. They also don't want to be leaders unless they are subject matter experts in which case they are working on a the thing more productively, and make great battlefield generals in that context.

Its a spectrum, not an absolute. We do what we have to do to survive. I am predominately sigma too. But, if I see something that is accomplishing a cause I deem worthy, they I can submit to an alpha. But, if he fucks up I will tell him to his face. Probably diplomatically because that is the logical course of action. A beta would probably not do that.

@@henriquecorbilopes9000 Sounds just as reasonable, though I personally go for the 4 humours, Melancholic, Sanguine, Choleric, Phlegmatic, though in the psychological sense based on a globe around and through which situations can decide where you are positioned by your responses to present and previous circumstances and outcomes.

I have the edginess of a sigma, the no interest in self improvement of a delta, the bitterness and hatred of a gamma, and the extreme social awkwardness of an omega. Basically, I’m the ultimate package.

Sigmas are not even in the pyramid hierarchy. Sigma males are outside of it.

A sigma can be friends with anyone at anytime for any reason. The catch....you have to be deemed worthy of their time. Sigma's are students of learning so as long as someone holds a skill the Sigma wants to learn they are fiercely loyal.

I think that a major determinant is the experiences of a man. Until I go 20, I had all the Alpha traits. After 20 that I realised that world can be hard and after meeting many useless people I became a Sigma because I didn’t want to deal with many people. After Covid and after losing some friends I could feel becoming a Beta Male. I’m sure every man varies on 2 of these traits.

A Sigma is more in line if who you want to be. Sometimes being an Alpha can make you so confident that it veers on obnoxious. I strongly disagree that an Alpha male gets any woman he wants. A woman who is secure with herself/smart does not want to be with a guy who is loud and pushy.

I'm a Sigma Male. I don't follow trends, I dislike social media, I disagree with a lot of people. I don't have friends or care or want to have friends. I prefer to be by myself the majority of the time, I devoted my life to God. I could careless what the Human race thinks about the way I dress and act, I wear Baggy pants and big Pullover hoodies so you already know I enjoy being unique not a follower or a copycat. I can read people's personality and stay away from Negative people, or those who love gossiping about other's. Many people see me as a lone wolf, cause that's who I am, I don't keep a conversation going I tend to cut the small talk real quick and move on. I'm also aggressive when someone pushes my boundaries to the limit, I lose my cool real quick.

The trouble with these labels is that whoever came up with them just listed the Greek letters: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta etc., right? Problem is each character in the Greek alphabet means something . . Like the Delta = ∆ Triangles esoterically mean Divinity.

As a Greek I just see it as number system because we still use the ancient Greek number system. α'=1 β'=2 γ'=3...etc so they use it in psychology and other sciences because most of medical terms are in greek.

The closest one I'm to is delta, but I'm not physically or mentally weak. I'm a welder so it requires some physical strength it also requires me to think outside the box sometimes. I would also say there is a sprinkling of Sigma as I prefer to be alone and do my own thing.
