I wish the PM palettes were magnetic like ND where you can swap shades out. I'd love to be able to create my dream mothership.

That shade reminds me of the one in the tiny marvels palette. I know it’s an older palette but I’d love to see you do 5 looks with the Sydney grace x Mel Thompson tiny marvels.

I respect that people want more variety but all these people who claim in reviews that they wish a shade or two in the palette was completely different just don’t understand that it probably wouldn’t work. Pat knows what she’s doing. In each of her mothership palettes she chooses matte shades that are flattering and complimentary in shade and undertone to the other eyeshadows in her palette. She can’t throw in some off the wall color just to diversify because her goal is to provide her customers with one palette that they can use without needing to reach for anything else. She’s doing half the work for people by giving you shades that are interchangeable and will never look in poor taste together. Any of those mattes can be used in any combination with any other color in the palette and look stunning. She has a method to what she’s doing. Who wants to pay 128 for a palette with such diverse shades that you have to then pull for another eyeshadow palette to complete a cohesive look.

Definitely getting this Mothership X. Pat can be imitated but never duplicated.

I see why people thought the shimmer from the Pat McGrath and the Oden eye xAngelica Nyqvist looked alike, but your right, the undertones are different. I haven't purchased this YET but you sure know how to tempt me, lol. Love these 5 look videos.

Omg you do absolutely the BEST 5 looks for palettes! I so look for your looks before deciding on a palette! I did note though, that the thumbnail looks didn’t look quite as mesmerizing as the looks in the video, maybe it’s the lighting? Just want to make sure you’re grabbing as many people as possible. Thank you for doing this, I’m trying to hold out on buying and you’re making it so difficult!

Thanks for this video. You are the only one I’ve seen create different look with this palette and though they’re all beautiful, they’re still very similar. This palette is pretty, it it’s a one trick pony to me. But I realize this is a marketing strategy for her. We must realize that although Pat is a genius make up artist, she’s also a genius business woman. She gives us just enough newness in each Mothership to draw us in, but it’s never fully encompassing, to keep us waiting for yet another one to satisfy what we’re craving in a different color scheme. I’m a huge fan nonetheless, and you’ve done a beautiful job with this palette.

I love the shimmers, astral shades and that deep brown is beautiful but the rosy/maroon matt shades I could do without. I feel like I have these in my collection over and over. They’re pretty but I’m hanging for something new. I seem to get two similar looks with this pallet, either rosy in the crease, then shimmer or cool brown with a shimmer. Both nice but just swapping out one of the rosy shades with something else would have made a world of difference. I’m a Pat McGrath collector so I was definitely picking up this pallet regardless. Thanks for giving me some more inspiration, you really help me get my moneys worth out of my eyeshadow pallets…especially the super spendy ones! 💙🇦🇺😊

I love these series of videos! And it seems if PMG replaced one of the mattes and one of the golds, that would have opened up a world of variety of looks in my opinion and preferences.

If I have ever seriously considered buying a Mothership palette, this would have to be it. I do see a distinct difference between the burnt orange and muted rose matte shades which can be clearly seen on the lids. I was hoping that you'd show off more of the glitter shades instead of using VR Sextasy in most looks though. This is a stunning palette, especially with the deepest matte shade. The palette can take us from very warm looks to quite cool toned. This will definitely be going on my list for when I finally stop spending and start to save! Thanks Patty.🇦🇺💖🕊

One of the things that surprised me the most is that the first look is basically the only real silvery cool tone look you can get with the palette (I mean a look with those 3 shades, of course you can use them differently) and I feel like Pat really is trying to sold us on the silver fantasy with the name moonlight as well as with all the silver vibes she has on her instagram for the palette. In the end most of the looks with the palette come out.. pinky which is not surprising at all. Nonetheless all the looks were absolutely beautiful! Putting aside Pat’s obsession with pink i really loved looks 1,2 and 5

Your 5 looks are always worth waiting for! I like this palette but I’m not desperate for it. I’ll definitely pick it up at some stage but maybe Black Friday 🤩🤩

I feel you don't need this palette for looks 1-3 but do need it for looks 4 and 5. It's a big investment for just that one special shade! Look 4 was my favorite!

Devinah cosmetics has an exact dupe of that VR Sextacy shade, it's called Messier. Check out Beauty and the Frizz, she does a comparison swatch. So if u want that one shade you can purchase the single. I have it and it's every bit as sparkly as PM. Hope that helps!

Not too excited about this one. Will wait for a crazy sale, maybe. Your looks are 🔥, which,makes me want to buy it, but I can wait since I have all the other Motherships and many others. I am enjoying the shimmers and mattes from Adept cosmetics, Oden’s eye, and just ordered a fabulous neutral pallet from Glaminatrix with great super shiny shimmers. Also have the Dollhouse pallet from Blend Bunny which has great shimmers and mattes. Also have some new 9 pans from Sydney Grace. I love Pat McGrath but, hopefully, she will get out of the pink and gold box.

I don't know where I'd put it, or which shade I'd remove, but I'd love to have seen a muted Wedgewood Blue in this palette somehow. Beautiful looks. I look forward to getting mine, and I'll have to find a Wedgewood Blue single to make my dream come true 😊

I usually try to get these palettes on release day but I'm trying to hold out on this one. The looks are beautiful, but the palette will still be there during the sephora sale. I'm glad you compared the Oden's eye palette because I own that shade!
