The warm mates, when you mix them with metallics they go A LOT cooler, a lot. The plumy shade turns purple, at least on my skin tone, I was shocked when I started playing with it and mixing metallics. Everything works so well with one another and is wearable. A lot of creators meh’ed it at the time, but it is so beautiful especially if you want something that you can actually wear day to day, that is still interesting.

This truly is soooo underhyped. It just works so well. You can definitely tell a world acclaimed makeup artist put this together

I always think photos on Pat's website do her palettes injustice. I trust in Mother so I would probably buy a Mothership blindly, even is she didn't reveal the inside haha. That said, I will never forgive this palette the lack of baked formulas. You make beautiful looks, I love watching you apply eyeshadow haha.

My top 3 palettes are Sublime, Midnight Sun, and Divine Rose 2! It's so interesting to see which one people pick first, if any. My artistry wand is still going strong after 2ish weeks, but thanks for the heads up! I'm trying to pan mine within the 6 month suggested shelf life, so I'm using it with other shimmers and getting mixed results. Definitely not a repurchase for me either, but fun to try.

Mothership X is the only one I didn’t declutter lol. I actually prefer the non baked special shades to the baked ones :)

You're so talented! The 4th look reminds me of those fairy-eye makeup looks that's been popping up on TikTok lately. So stunning! I love that you did matte lips with it, it really balances out all the sparkles. I've been doing that too lately, inspired by you. I have the LH Cosmetics Shimmer Saga quad, those shades remind me of PMG's "special" shades, if someone is only interested in the duochromes in each Mothership (not straight up dupes, but the vibes are similar imo). I saw that PMG has a 40% off black friday sale going on, so if you want more of her stuff it's as good a deal as it gets with her I think =)

Thanks so much for all the kind words! Maaaaan sometimes I wish I could use TikTok to see all the lovely makeup trends. But it would absolutely be terrible for my ADHD (and it may or may not be a good idea for me to use it since I have Chinese relatives) 💀 I already did do my PMG BF shopping. I really have to keep a tight grip on my holiday budget so I was good this time, I got both quints and the holiday blush :3

@@foxwaffles Yeah, I'm ADD so doom-scrolling is a real issue haha but sometimes I just need a quick dopamine fix at work with some cat content. I've been getting more into neutrals lately (who am I) so I'm looking forward to see what looks you make with the quints!

When it comes to Pat McGrath, I don’t care when a palette is reviewed. I’m going to watch it lol you can make 10 videos with this one palette and I’m going to watch them all I wanted the Nirvana palette at first as I was super excited for the colorful mattes. But the more I watched videos on it, the less I wanted it. It doesn’t fit into the PML aesthetic at all. It’s so out of place. I asked her for color too on her IG and this had to be in the works already because a few months later, the holiday palette came out. I prefer the NYX glitter glue over the intensify wand as well. It has a better grip, less fall out & my shimmer are more intense. It was nice to try though. Fav motherships - DR2, Midnight Sun, Moonlit Seduction. I have 8 (missing 3 & 4). I like Subliminal a lot too

I really need to film more with my PMG collection 😩 I had a massive project I was going to work on this year but I was not expecting a major surgery so I hopefully can work on it in 2023 🥳 I just wish Nirvana had better quality. The satins are just not it. So bleh! My current favorites are Moonlit Seduction, Midnight Sun and of course Subliminal
