I am with you on the colour story - I felt like I was crazy since I love this colour story and so many people seemed disappointed! I’m so happy to see the Rosewood Romantique matte is more red/brown leaning than pink. The promo pictures made it look similar to the pinks in Huetopian Dream and Divine Rose II, but seeing your swatch shows it’s clearly different. Thanks you for the beautiful review!

I just realized I spelled palette wrong! I'm a pediatrician and am used to looking at a different set of "palates". The infants love the sparkly eyeshadow!

And I loved seeing the individual swatches💙💙💙 it gives us a better idea of how the shadow looks when blended

I absolutely love they you did both swatch types! It made such a HUGE difference to see them rubbed out on you hand like that. No one does that, and it gave such a better representation of whay to expect from using the shades.

This look is absolutely gorgeous✨💜✨! I was underwhelmed by the color story, I have to admit. I totally believe that it is dazzling ✨ in person. But I still hoped for something… totally different..? Although the plummy middle matte really speaks to me. I imagine it with the lavender shade and that must look wonderful. Anyway, great video, thank you! I really appreciate the individual, blended out swatches! I think it gets across way more on camera than the traditional arm swatches. As for the comment answering on your part - I still maintain that you absolutely don’t have to keep that up! Don’t get me wrong, it makes my day 💜 But you have a lot on your plate and your channel is growing, so don’t stress yourself out that much if ever you get to the point where answering is not fun anymore. Other than that, I hope you handle hearting the comments however it’s most comfy with organizing yourself there. I imagine you might use the hearting as an easy marker for yourself for whether you have answered already or not or something. Just happy and appreciative to receive hearts and answers from you, however and whenever you have time but never expecting it 💙

I thought the plummy mattes looked too bold & scary but you’ve made them look fabulous with the special shades in this eye look. It really suits you. I still think I prefer a more neutral brown crease colour.

Okay I wasn’t sold on this palette and I’ve watched several reviews of it already but I’m 10 minutes into your video and I think I’m in love with it now???? At least with the shimmery shades. I love that you swatched them across the entire back of your hand, it really shows off the eyeshadows in all of their glory. Seeing swipes of them across the arm just isn’t enough for me so thank you for doing something different!

I have way too many eyeshadow palettes right now and I am getting to know what I truly like. I have started to just use other subtler mattes for the crease and using everything sparkly from Pat. To me a palette doesn’t have to be perfect to be valuable. The special shades in this one are perfect for me and I will pick it up around Black Friday with the Christmas palette (here’s hoping) and play with other stuff until then. I just bought ritualistic rose on a crazy sale. I think you would love that one. Ok, it’s a very long comment, but I do not think we expect you to answer every single comment. A heart most time and a comment once in a while is absolutely fine. ❤️ (just to prove my point). 😄

I'm noticing for the first time just how much that enhancer stick really bumps up the intensity on the pigment of the shadows. I can't believe I'm so late to seeing this video! I'm on vacation so I'm so behind but I had to watch this!!! The palette is stunning but same, the two pink, mauve, burgundy toned shades are what turn me off. I wish Pat's palettes were magnetic pans and able to moved around to more easily build to suit your individual style and colorstory! I'd prob take the more cool toned purple mauvy matte from Mothership VII divine Rose and the really deep plum from Mothership V Bronze Seduction and put in place of those 2 pinkish tones. I'm still waiting on Sephora to launch it so I can pick it up. I love that you swatched each individual shade because it gave a better idea of the tone and shift of each shadow! Also yes 3/5 looks 1 palette please!!😍 can't wait to see the videos you have coming soon using this palette! And that lavendar shade really pops on you!! It would be gorgeous layered over the satin lavendar from Subliminal with the plum from Bronze Seduction for depth!❤❤❤ I love mashing up my Motherships! My brain is going a hundred miles an hour on looks to create! Oh n I'm totally ok with a ❤! I'm so glad she went more cool-toned with this one. Personally, I like the mattes, my only complaint is did we really need 2 more gold shades? I know they're different finishes, but I don't think the metallic and astral gold/bronze shades are different enough for them to both be there. I don't expect a response to every comment. I understand how time-consuming it must be, and I definitely don't have the bandwidth to comment on every video I watch.

@@MartinaLily I used it today and just to echo you and other content creators that these mattes, I feel blend with a little more ease and the love the feel of the special shades. One of my special shades arrived cracked but was it was all still in the pan so it was quite easy to re-press. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.. clearly all your fault 🤣🥂😘

You shouldn't feel pressure to comment on every comment! I think the individual swatches you did were very good because it lets us see the shades in a more focused way and your commentary is helpful.

@@MartinaLily I don't know...I can't quite put my finger on it. For sure though, I don't think these mattes together suit the palette...we needed at least one to be a Statuesque-like shade and I am super salty that none of the "special" shades is in the baked formula.

Thank you for this. I initially didn't want this but seeing the swatches etc has changed my mind a bit. I don't like that middle pinky matte shade and for the price I have to love every one. I might pick this up in the sale but I'm going to wait and see what happens at christmas haha. I don't mind if you don't comment on each comment. 2 of the mattes are great cheek colors.

That shiny taupey silver shade looks like a shade from the Huda Rose Quartz palette called Energized. The duochrome next to it looks similar to another shade in that palette called Blissful (except maybe less red undertone) which I always thought looks extremely similar to one of the bluish duochromes in Pat's first Mothership palette. I haven't seen this new palette in person, just going off of your swatches, so I could be totally wrong. This video actually solidified that I might not want this palette eventually 🤔 from Kinkysweat's video, I noticed how it looks pretty icy. I know some people complained about the color story and how it doesn't really showcase the moon but I see cool toned reflections in the sparkly shadows and those don't do well with my skintone very well. I do like the gold and taupe color though surprisingly :O Thank you for the video! And I think it's okay if you just heart the comments. Comment only when you have something to say. I'm sure other people are okay with it >_< I'm sure it feels overwhelming. You do what you need to do!

I think hearting your comments is a great compromise when you are overloaded with work! That way your subscribers are getting the acknowledgement you’ve read their comment & it won’t take as long for you ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much Lauren. Sorry this took so long! And yes, I think it is personally especially the mattes. I think the special shades are all new formulas and not like other motherships though but I love them I just have seen others are disappointed 💗💗💗

@@MartinaLily I will! I can say that I bought the first one for the collectibility and I actually love it. The formula is old school eyeshadow. It’s nothing like ND or PM. They were going for a throwback vibe with their whole campaign and they got it. It’s a very vintage experience, down to color story. It went over some heads. That said…their mascara, powder, bronzer are my everydays. Their lipsticks are heaven, but the sheer formula goes off quickly so only get one or two. Their mattes are my favorite along with Violette’s line for Guerlain. 🫡
