I remember the Vong were fairly controversial back in the day, especially with the killing of Chewbacca right from the start. If Disney has showed us anything, it's that the Vong were the actual way to go as they were a real threat and our heros did not have plot armor to protect them. I remember reading the books and it was almost like a real ongoing crisis.

Too bad they erased the Yuuzhan Vong War from Star Wars canon. This is what the Sequel Trilogy should've been; the biggest conflict in Star Wars history, an epic clash between all the factions of the Star Wars galaxy and the Yuuzhan Vong.

@@cameronmurrell-byrd7738 I can't say I was ever a fan, but... looking at what we got in the Sequel Trilogy (a watered-down version of the Galactic Civil War) I just they'd tried something different. There's ways they could've improved the Yuuzhan Vong to make them fit better into Star Wars canon, but they didn't even try.

The yuuzhan vong wars were the best book series of all Star Wars books. I remember as a kid geek tearing up reading chewbaccas death, and you forgot to mention that the victory over the yuuzhan vong at Ebaq 9 was planned by admiral ackbar, but he died of poor health before the battle took place...so coalition got the moral drop of their lives before going to overcome that battle. Fuck Disney for buying Lucasarts, and overwriting this story with these new bullshit movies...this was a grand story. Jacen solo was the one who brought balance to the force. Anakin solos death was magnificent. Chewbaccas defiant last roar before the moon was brought down on sernpidal. As a teenage kid, I couldn't put the books down...the yuuzhan vong couldn't be felt in the force until the very end; because they were from a different galaxy, the force that Luke sky walker talk at the Jedi academy didn't apply to the vong, the vong saw the Jedi as powerful but nothing more that magicians and affronts to their gods. Pain to the vong was pleasure to us. Every vong ship and vessel was living; from world ships to coralskippers, to the living crab armor they wore that could deflect lightsabers, to the living lambant crystals anakin solo found and used to make his light saber with...the first lightsaber that used a living crystal...anakin solo also was the one to start learning how to sense the vong in the force. Jacen found the balance in the force between the vong universe and the Star Wars universe. Thanks for the Star Wars content, just found your stuff and subbed right away. All the stuff I said just adds weight to what you harped on already; that the Star Wars universe was in total ruin, and the amazing story of republic and Star Wars sides coming together, but it really is true to say that the ONLY way the Jedi, the republic, and the empire survived, along with everyone else; was to unite or be extinguished or enslaved. This meaning...this message of unity...is not the message in the new movies...Disney fucked up...fuck Disney. Thanks for the video!!!! Also, you're pretty damn trolly in this, I loved it, this whole video was the bridge you hide under:p

I think you should do something weird, chose any ship, and both sides have the exact same ship. The catch is that the crews are different, such as Old Republic vs the Empire, or Rebels Vs even the Covenant. Star wars factions, of course will be able to use force users associated with the faction. AI from halo would be used as well.

Hey EckhartsLadder, I've got an interesting idea for a Star Wars Galactic Versus scenario video.What if the Martian War Machines from the original 1953 classic, "The War of the Worlds" suddenly landed during the Battle of Hoth, Endor or even Scariff from "Rogue One"?They appear to be pretty durable and have deadly weapon such as heat rays and disintegrator rays, plus they have shields that can withstand nuclear blasts.Aside from the Martians weakness to Earth bacteria, I think they could win a fight against the Rebels or even the Empire. I'm partial to The Battle of Borleias. Nothing beats Wedge and Tycho casually walking through the base cheerfully telling Jaina Solo about how they are drawing the Vong ground forces forward into a designed spot for some Lusankya Orbital Bombardment. It's a great Bromance moment. X-Wing series was always my favorite so I'm partial to the Wedge based books.

Coruscant has been through a lot of shit, in the Old Republic when the sith empire attacked the jedi temple and sacked Coruscant. The battle over coruscant when the chancellor got kidnapped there were around 10000 ships on either side and now the yuuzhan vong almost completely destroys it.

I'm sure the brute strength of a normal Spartan is enough to deal with a squad of Clone Commandos. I love Delta Squad and all but the pure (un)natural strength of a Spartan is absurd. The only things I see taking Spartans on in Stat Wars are Wookies, Trandoshans (beefy ones), and Assassin/Battle Droids 😎

@@immasword you know the distances matter a lot like let's Say that the spartan has an assault rifle the bos knight has a gatling laser. From a distance the assault rifle against T-60 power armor is like throwing eggs at a brick wall, on the other hand the gatling laser for it's size can be quite accurate and if the shield is disabled the armor is useless against that many laser beams.

Wonder if there will be a star wars movie of this
