The MP and JD shows are my two never miss podcasts. I just started listening to MP 3 months ago, and changing my eating based on your recommendations 2 months ago. I’m 41 now and I haven’t felt this good in 15 years. Dropped 20 lbs, feel stronger and more aware. I really appreciate what you all do.

As a parent of three stepsons - I needed this. I love my kids as if they are my own because in my mind they are but there are many times I feel disconnected with them because of their trauma with their bio-father. Just being a safe space is such a simple thought but incredibly vital. Thank you.

I lived in Wyoming for 8 years and almost became one of those statistics. Everything shutting down in 2020 didn’t even affect the way my life was because of the level I was already isolated to. It’s been life changing to be back in a place where I can have human connection regularly. I work remotely and even my coworkers, who have never met me in person, have noticed a difference in my tone and communication since being able to connect with others and focus on getting myself physically healthy again.

I'm 45, single and changed careers that has me traveling and living in new states. Man, making friends after 40 is legit hard. My issue is that I just end up making friends with kids half my age. I have almost zero friends anywhere near my age. Which leads to not being able to meet women my age either. At 40, I have figured out what I want to do till retirement, I have figured out my health, but damn, it's lonely and I worry that I missed the window to find a lasting healthy relationship. That is my anxiety.

I saw this a few minutes after you posted it I was driving at the time. I really almost pulled to the side of the road to comment .... Wow , you guys are so genuine and vulnerable not just in this episode ( especially on this episode) . You'll speaking of your wifes, kids , friendhip with each other ( the bench gift ) .... I'm at awe of how authentic You'll are teaching a whole new generation of brothers, friends husbands and fathers You'll are influencing... and now this a mental health episode !?!?! Please keep doing what you are doing - I have a couple of your programs and they are VERY effective , but that's for another episode ... thank you again and keep all the good info and vibes flowing.

I was thinking about this anxiety and mental health in general for detention officers. We are trained to always expect the worse, practice scenarios in your head of what and how you would handle yourself in situations. It's no wonder why we detention/cirrection/Law enforcement people are so wired and tapped out. Some of us find the gym while so many mire find and drown in the bottle, (of all kinds). Our alarms are going off 24/7, at home when not typically in danger, out at dinner to grocery shopping. Love how thus fell on my feed today. I need to get that book!

Anxiety addicting? What??? As someone who has suffered from severe anxiety, that's literally the last thing I want, it can lit be debilitating doing basic normal things, things other ppl woudnt even think twice about, and it the feeling sucks, anxiety for certain situations has its purpose, but when your literally anxious for no reason, or doing basic living, that is not something I would wish on anyone, def not addicting,
