    My first job in the oilfield was as a Kill Truck Operator. I was started out at $16.50 per hour but was charging Ticket Time so it helped. I met a Water Truck Owner Operator who lived in his truck that made 320k in 6 months. He showed me proof.

    @user-jv8rl7uh3i It doesnt matter 320k in 6 months is still a lot of money in the trucking industry today. Dont matter if you have to deduct expenses from it. If you're a responsible owner operator you'll still end up with a good amount of money after taxes

    For those of us who are daft, can you explain what and why you mean about a vac truck company that "works with" drilling rigs? Do you mean a drilling/service company that offers hauling as a service? Or are you just getting at finding a job that pays based on percentage and/or ticket time? Struggling to find drilling companies that also hire for hauling jobs

    I'm a hot oiler who works up in the Bakken. We usually bill 160-200hrs every two weeks. I would say a lot of our guys gross 130-160k a year. A lot of runnin and gunnin and marching orders can change 4 times in one hour! Dangerous work mostly on rigs, so you gotta be very aware of what's going on👍

    Can a Class A driver get hired in the oil field with an Auto restriction? Thank you for the videos!

  • @WeroLocoTrucking

    @WeroLocoTrucking

    Жыл бұрын

    @Adam Holmes yes it is possible to get a job with automatic restriction, however you would be limiting yourself tremendously to possibly getting a higher paying job. Most big service companies like Halliburton and Schlumberger have Automatics but most companies do not have Automatics. My advice would be to remove the auto restriction before heading out here.

  • @adamholmes1992

    @@WeroLocoTrucking thank you so much. I’ve heard that none of those companies will hire you with the auto restriction. I wish I knew of a cheap way to get it removed. I grew up on a stick shift pick up truck as a kid. I trained on a simulator to double clutch the Semi. But when it came time to road practice and test they were all out of manuals, so I never got to real world practice double clutch shifting and now have the auto restriction. I do have my tankers enforcement, so that is a plus, lol. Thank you so much for the reply :)
