Bad Blood was not ironic, it was about someone feeling betrayed, but finding a real group of friends who would support her in the later fights. Shake it Off wasn't ironic either, it was pretty clear: I see your hate but I am just shaking it off, I won't care, bc you don't know the real me and I am always ahead! and now, Blank Space was ironic and was playing the character portrayed by the media.. Actually, it feels like LWYMMD is an spin off of Blank Space, but more straight on and stripped of humor and niceties. It feels like BS was her first attemp to make them see how stupid it is, it was light and fun. This is what happens when your last attemp fails and that is left is pride, anger and, in her case, intelligence to use those feelings.

That scene isn't about Madonna. If you look closely at the screen, it says "squad" on it. People have been criticizing and scrutinizing Taylor for her "fake" friends, referring to them as her "squad" and that you have to look like a model or have a certain look to be her so-called friend. Also, the media was writing about how Taylor is like the queen bee, of her friend squad, being really bossy and telling what her friends to do and whatnot. That's why she was the leader of those fake models. Hope that clarifies it! No madonna shade! If anything she's coming for Madonnas crown who still is the top selling female artist of all time and top grossing female artist in tours. Madonna means reinvention, a career that spans 3 decades, record breaking success, a loyal fan base, highly produced shows, a pioneer for women in music and absolute control over her career and image. I like Taylor's ambition.

Im a 2009 girlie and I only heard of Taylor in somewhere 2017 because of the 2009 incident and only knew more about her is 2020-2024 😭 Its sad that she closed her own door from the world during the 2009-2016 period, my childhood was mainly Katy Perry and some other artists that I dont remember but current gen As being able to have a taytay childhood is just lucky 🥺
