The solder job at the beginning is a cold joint and won’t last. Both sides being connected need to be heated. I like the idea though.

The solder connector at begining is very dangerous. If a faill hapenn, it will melt and disconnected the cable, so it will heat up more (because the join resistance increases), or even bouncing around, touch in anityng and put your home in flames.

Nothing is better than crimping. If terminals get very hot than can melt solder causing resistance. This can lead to sparks and blow up. I have come across.
