great job loved it practical and not stupid. I say though for the vacuum size up the straws like you did then remove 3. PLace the remainder in a row. Now run a hot glue bead or some tape across them now roll up. they wont get sucked in or come out. The solder iron one is still risk of a burn to yourself. better to wedge the clip open with a screw or some such first.

I really like using the side cutters and hammer to take a headless nail out but the file clip on the soldering iron is going to be a little too hot to remove unless you plan to leave it on while you solder and wait until it cools off to remove it.

In western countries you can buy a tool for every operation in this video. In poor countries the life is not so easy. You have to deal with what you have. E.g. a proffesional wire stripper can cost a fortune.

It might be useful for someone old/frail or with arthritis.

First, you can use it every time after. You make this effort only once. Second, it's not very unusual to break the ring before opening the can, so better use a tool instead the finger.
