Ну из старого круга я давно делаю отрезные кружки. С заклёпкой тоже понравилось, но со спермоклеем - полная лажа! Как ты полагаешь сильно попал в центр? Даже на видео видно, что сильно промазал. Таким инструментом работать - портить подшипник дремеля!

На станке токарном валик выточить. Там же в токарке его засверлить. Прилепить на клей к нему эту шкурку и голову не морочить.

Это обычные хозяйственные ножницы ombra. Цена им рублей 800. Только я не понимаю зачем ножницами. Взял трубу нужного диаметра, приложил, стукнул молотком, просверлил отверстие, закрепил, пару раз по металлу крутанул и получил идеальный круг.

Awesome tip Dacha! IMO, the cutoff wheels you buy from the drill manufacturers are super expensive and always fail before they are barely used and the third party cutoffs don't even get that far. The buffing pad and sanding drum have always been a huge pita for me are designed to have very short lifespans, since these companies make little on the sale of the drill and reap high profits on the consumables such as the cutoffs, buffers and sanding drums. Again, IMO, the reason these items fail is due to the chintzy mandrels that hold them... I think you may have solved that problem for me by making them a lot more beefy.. The last I looked, the price of a '10 Reinforced Cut-Off Wheels, 1-1/2 in. Dia., made of a hard abrasive and reinforced with fiberglass for slicing and cutting metal .. goes for $17USD or a $1.70 each at one of the big box store.. Yikes!!!! One 4.5" metal cutoff wheel of decent quality runs around $5. I'm guessing you can get 10 mini wheels from 1 - 4.5" wheel bringing the costs down to 50 cents/wheel or a $1.20 savings/wheel !!! and I bet they'll last 2x as long.. Just my 2 cents....

If you can backup your claim with a good reason, then maybe someone will pay attention to your opinion. But without them, you just look like another user who makes these kind of 'stupid' statements without any substance behind them. IMO and in the opinion of many others, I thought this video was helpful and was posted by someone who actually wants to share his knowledge, then took the time and effort to do so. I'd love to comment on some of the helpful videos you posted recently.. Oh wait, you don't post videos, you only make comments on them, and probably negative ones. Geezz, these replied comments are meant to enhance the user's experience not to simply DISS other people. I have used this Dremel tool professionally for many years. There are many tips add shortcuts to enable a person to use this tool most efficiently. For example the little wire brush tools scarcely last 30 seconds. I found a workaround to that which enables me to use a wire brush accessory for a long time because that is what I primarily used it for, cleaning electronic card Edge connectors. Instead of using the flimsy wire brush accessory; instead I cut discs from A Fine mesh wire screen and punch a hole in the middle of it. I use this as a substitute for the wire brush and it lasts a very long time!

I suppose these ideas can work in a pinch but I think the likelihood of one coming apart is probably pretty high. In the course of cutting these out, I suspect the stresses could weaken the material and make failure likely. I have had good luck with the Dremel cut off wheels. They last well provided you don't force them. Light pressure and keeping them square in a cut and they will last just fine. They do make a heavier duty cut off wheel that is larger diameter and a bit thicker. These can take a bit more abuse and will last a long time.

Yes, I can see that working. The larger disks are thicker though, so they will last well, but the bearings in your *remel WILL wear more quickly, so it's a tradeoff. Here's an idea: since you're already using a bench-grinder in your tip, turn the disk 90° once it is round, and grind a bit of taper on the surface. BTW, excellent narration, haha!
