Hello from GA! I remember when this video came out, and it was so eye-opening. I was recently doing different versions (in oil pastels) of the same landscape that involved a lonely path. I figured I'd free-hand it, totally forgetting about perspective. And my paths all looked wonky 😅! I always remembered your path tutorial and pulled it back up in KZread. You saved my path!!! Thank you so much!! This is the best instructional tutorial I've watched, and you're such a wonderful, encouraging teacher. (Big hugs for sweet Jackson!) 💗

I studied Art, formally, as a kid into my late teens, but it was so long ago. I know that we weren’t taught this method back in my day. Saving this video to watch more closely. Pay more attention to the visuals. But, you’re quite correct. This is a video sorely needed by old, non practicing Artists, like me. 🧓🏻💙

The most important thing is you and your health right now. I am going to keep trying to bring many of the lessons to the main KZread channel and perhaps just a little bit later than the Patreon page receives it. I’m so glad this lesson was beneficial to you. Watching this video brought several things to mind which came together a bit like your roads: why were we never taught useful things like this at school; most really good artists are left handed I have noticed; when I was at primary school there was a left handed little boy that the dinner ladies used to bully because he ate with his fork in his left hand - I wonder if he was artistic and did the bullying stifle his artistic nature? And one last point: a really useful video - thank you!
