Health professionals are trained to keep talking and seek as much clarity as possible while trying to reduce the risk of a patient passing out or becoming terrified- if he'd panicked or become unconscious, he'd have potentially caused more harm to himself, so keeping him alert and on the phone by asking him repeated questions is a standard tactic while waiting for help to arrive.

Yeah I don't have that much respect for those who get behind the wheel drunk, and end up killing someone. However Mary seems like a good decent person realizing she was drunk and she didn't wanna hurt anyone she was just drunk. If more people where like her maybe there would be less alcohol related accidents. Mary knew she was most likely going to jail but she realized her life and other peoples lives are more important. I hope the judge was lenient on her for making the right decision.

Awwww poor Mary. She seems like a sweet lady. I respect the operator for being so patient and kind with her. ❤️

Mary has to be the best one. The sheer amount of honestly she showed and she even apologized for her actions with a voice that seems sincere, it's a courage that many don't have, and many would rather risk getting into an accident while driving drunk than to stop and admit that they're wrong. Not my new favorite person, but Mary has to be up there.

@Big J you actually can,, if you end up vomiting or "greened out" that's considered an overdose bc you took more than you could handle. obv u won't die but you still took too big of a dose, if that makes sense. ppl can also hallucinate and have seizures after smoking too much weed, but it's usually ppl like this who have 0 tolerance and decided their first experience w weed should involve a ton of edibles. that, or their body chemistry just isn't cut out for weed. ppl can also develop an allergy to weed called cannabis hyperemesis syndrome, which makes u vomit whether or not u smoked that day, cos it fucks w ur body chemical homeostasis or whatever
