And that's an interesting point, there are several videos where scammers refer to their activity as 'sales' or 'work'. My point is that they may be being ""honest"", in the sense that, for them, that would be indeed just a job. I've also recently watched a very sad food related documentary, where Chinese producers allegedly poisoned their crops (for the sake of better conservation and presentation) which were for sale, and their argument was exactly that: "this is just for sale", meaning, that was the usual thing to do. Needless to say I'm not condoning any of this, but maybe this had became a cultural trend in some twisted way along the years, like 'lie or die' for instance.

@@payton335 Working in the computer repair side of IT, I see this a LOT. The most common scam that we see with our clients are the ones where they get a pop-up ad warning from "Microsoft" that says some variation of "Your computer is infected with Malware." Then they call the number, let the person remote-access their computer, and from there the scam diversifies depending on who's doing it. I've seen some where it's basically a ransom attack, I've seen others where it's DRASTICALLY overpriced malware scanning/clean-up services.
My grandma called us one day, sobbing that my brother was in jail and the bail was worth thousands of dollars. If she had decided to pay the scammer immediately without telling anyone-- and she definitely would have in a heartbeat to save him-- she could have lost years of money leftover from three different jobs that provided for my mom and her brother. I just wanted to say thank you so much for the work that you do, even if you don't end up seeing this. The one thing you'll ALWAYS find with scammers is they are confident as they are arrogant. They are so arrogantly confident they will take your money, and outsmart you, that it shocks, hurts and humiliates them when they cant fool you. Ive lived in Egypt for several years and see this almost every day (i shit you not). Im a 37 year old British white guy and that to an Egyptian screams MONEY MONEY MONEY, so im always on their hitlist for things. They will try to sell me a shitty sofa, for example, for 20,000 Egyptian pounds (about 1,200 USD). They do this because they think they can just scam me, and that im not smart enough to see their scam, and that i can probably afford it, also that i might well have just landed a week ago, bought a new house, and i dont know the prices. I mean no tourist ever buys houses and goes home do they?. Scammers wil always have that "i'm smarter than you" personality about them. We often see them on Scammer paybacks channel when the engineers shout "i am level 20 engineer, i will hack your computer, and destroy your system". And when they are out done with that, they will start with the personal insults and fly into a narcissistic rage. "I WILL FK YOUR MOTHER!!!! MWAAAAHHHHH". That fact that Raj gavindankuthi here couldnt fool an old AND lost "his money" just humiliates him even more. Its pure gold to watch!
This scammer never recovered from this.
I got called minutes after I watched one of your videos. I’m 74, so I told them my son is a programmer and he should handle this for me. My son would get angry with me if I didn’t do what he says. They called my grandma all the time. She never drove a car before, that I know of lol. It was one of my daily chores to delete her spam call messages. She would get a ton. I think it's because she used to buy items in catalogs and donate to charities. One of those sold her information sadly.

I like pretending not to know that they're the ones trying to scam me. Clearly someone has stolen my identity and used it to scam them. They should put me through to their legal department so we can figure out which law enforcement agency has jurisdiction over this.

“+3 Protection against undead” Kit, you slay me, every time 🤣😂🤣
scammer: MOTHER TOAD!! Kitboga: i like toad.
“You remind me of my grandson. He likes to click things too.”😏😂
My favorite part of any Kitboga video is when he mutes himself and ignores the scammer to turn to the audience and explain us what's happening right now. The contrast to his ability of talking over them is priceless.
Love how they frantically try pressing cancel when Kit is redeeming 🤣🤣
You're a genius , man. Nothing makes me happier than seeing scammers get a piece of their own medicine.

Your videos are always helpful to warn others, but the most I love how you end them. By saying remember you are valuable and you matter etc. This is what can in fact bring someone out of a horrible point in a bad day and save a life. thank you.
Their disappointment when they realize they're not getting that money always makes me laugh!
The editing in this was top notch, great work to you or whoever your editor is, especially with the text bugging out whenever his phone mic bugged out.

I worked in tech support for 6 years and it used to aggravate me so much when callers did this. They would call me for help but would keep interrupting me with useless crap and mindless rambling when their problem would be solved if they would just shut up. Watching scammers going through this makes me happy inside.
It's amazing that they're still running this scam. What reputable company accepts gift cards as payment? Their hit rate must be very low, hopefully.

No, they're very successful. And they wouldn't do it if they weren't successful, either. Let's face it. Many people are idiots and get taken advantage of. That's not to say that only idiots get scammed, of course. But it helps.

Perhaps Edna could 'misunderstand' the concept of an Apple store and instead go to a local grocery which sells apples. On discovering that the grocery store doesn't sell gift cards she could perhaps try buying $2000 worth of apples instead and ask where she should send them?
