5 Deep & Mindful Breaths with Finger Trace Breathing

Five deep and mindful breaths can go a long way to improve our physical and mental health. It can be as simple as using your fingers as a guide to get in those breaths. Try this activity once or twice a day each day this week.
The Mental Fitness Technique of the Week Video Series is for teachers, parents and coaches who want to help kids and teens (and themselves too!) build their resilience and strengthen their mental health.
Although these videos were created for teachers implementing the Resilient Youth curriculum, any teacher, parent or coach will find the ideas shared to be valuable for the kids and teens in their life. Exposing kids to these short exercises on a consistent basis will build lifelong habits - preparing them for the inevitable challenges they will face and helping them to achieve success in a healthy and fulfilling way.
