Nature Focus Mindfulness Technique

This activity allows us to strengthen our mindfulness skills and our ability to focus on one thing at a time. And, by getting outside and interacting with nature for this technique, we multiply the benefits!
The Mental Fitness Technique of the Week Video Series is for teachers, parents and coaches who want to help kids and teens (and themselves too!) build their resilience and strengthen their mental health.
Although these videos were created for teachers implementing the Resilient Youth curriculum, any teacher, parent or coach will find the ideas shared to be valuable for the kids and teens in their life. Exposing kids to these short exercises on a consistent basis will build lifelong habits - preparing them for the inevitable challenges they will face and helping them to achieve success in a healthy and fulfilling way.
