Lovely quiet getaway. And Cowboy coffee in Sweden? Who knew! I actually love cowboy coffee-but it’s probably more about the total experience rather than the coffee. Beautiful shot of the fox as well. Too bad about the fishing and better luck in the spring. Very beautiful cabin experience, too. Thank you for sharing-

You can still buy coarser ground coffee in all shops in Sweden to boil. When you boil coarser ground coffee the taste is much rounder than if you use standard coffee for brewing.

Hello from Oklahoma! Great Video! There is something special about spending time alone in quiet places. No tech, no man made noise. Sadly its getting harder to find in this modern world. But its out there. I will try some of the tips You presented. I may even try to make snow shoes, even though we do not get to much snow here. Ha! Your fire bowl thingy intrigues me. That is a very nice set of Roycroft snowshoes, I got one of Roycroft's walking staffs that he made in April of 1995, I got it from Mors Kochanski about 6 months before he passed away!

I'm so glad I read the description. I often forget to do this. I really like what you said about the silence and seclusion. Your video certainly manifests everything you said as everything was perfect - class! (Too bad no aurora borealis to grace you're already stunning Adventure!) The wolf howling certainly made up for this, though!

Thanks for sharing this serious, reflective experience. Ice fishing seems the most random activity with success mostly improbable - packing the sausage is a lesson to us all! Suddenly, when in the cabin, a ring-pull tin of Heinz beans seems the peak of civilisation! Lamp light and candle light is so different to electric light. Loved the snowshoe string music. The perfect soundtrack...

You have a fine cabin and sauna refuge. For sure, you brought a sausage or two when you went fishing. You always seem to need them!😇😇 You do much better at catching fine images than you do ice fishing.🤔 Your sketch of the cabin looked fine at any magnification. Even the details were right.

Actually not. You can buy course ground coffee in all stores in Sweden. The coarser ground coffee makes for a much rounder and nicer taste than in you boil standard sized coffee grinds for boiling.

Excellently produced video brother, thanks for the work. Constantly chasing after the camera has got to be a PITA, part of the game though. I've only used snowshoes once, never could get the wobble walk down just right, of course living in a desert 2000 miles south and 7000 miles west of you, I really don't need them. A human trait being apprehensive of predators, wolves can be somewhat unpredictable depending on how hungry they are. Great video, well done and as always a true pleasure to be invited along for the trip. Enjoy!

What a beautiful cottage. You are so creative it's amazing. You can even make music with the self-made snowshoes, very fun. Only when fishing, there is still room for improvement if you are successful in catching a fish. I think it worked once in a video! Your videos are great, they speak for themselves, there is absolutely no need for explanations. Many destroy their beautiful videos with constant drivel. I'm from Germany and I'm fascinated by your beautiful landscape. Thank you and keep making great videos.

When the video started and you were post holing through the deep snow, I said to myself, he needs snowshoes! And sure enough, you fabricated a set of snowshoes from the landscape! Was the coffee really horrible or were you being facetious? And how does one come by the small mouse to run across the grinds to determine if the ratio is correct?? 🤔😉😆 I enjoy my coffee in the morning and have tried all sorts of ways of making it. Lately, I've taken to using a titanium French press as it seems to give me about the best cup of coffee. 16 ounces of water, bring to boil, dump in two tablespoons of coffee, let it sit for 5-6 minutes, press and pour. Perfect cup for my tastes all the time, every time. ;-)

Loved this video!
