Don't miss his cooking, copy his recipes from what you remember and write them down in a book to pass on to the next generation. My mobility is nackered at the moment because I need to have a leg amputated but surgeons aren't quite ready yet, but I decided last summer that I was going to do exactly that before things went bad. Once I can get around again I'm going to carry on doing it because I was having fun making up and experimenting on recipes with my daughter and one day maybe the book will go off to any potential grandkids to carry on. I reckon your husband would agree that you should have fun with it because it sounds like something he would like.

But it's great to break out of the box and consider some new approaches. This gentleman is not afraid of failure and I applaud his inventiveness. Good show !
Hey Andy, as always loving your videos. Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Praying for a speedy recovery :) Bit of advice: use red onion for salsa. Yellow onions are sweet, really good for onion soup. If you can't get or find red onion, white will do. Trust me, it'll taste better. Also the same method you used for chopping the onion can be used for the garlic as well. Ultimately it's your videos and you do whatever you're comfortable with. Just some friendly advice from someone in the hospitality industry. :)

Now that you already did it, the best thing you can do is IF the pipe is hollow, find a stick that will fit into pipe, with other end fitting into where the pipe would have gone. Putting stick into pipe it will give stick extra strength and less likely to break. Make sure you hook the pipe in one side and stick (that is in pipe) into the other side. As long as the stick fits in where you need it, everything should holdvup really good. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us ❤

Most down to earth camping bloke on KZread. Absolute legend! 🙏🏻
I need a Dutch oven.. I remember at the cub scout camp we went to with all the families in one big camp out, and it was always the same thing every year. We went down a line and filled a foil sheet with ground beef, frozen potatoes and frozen veggie mix, seasoned it, wrapped it and cooked it on the coals. And then for dessert, this one dad/scoutmaster in the troop would get his enormous Dutch oven and make this amazing apple cake recipe, nestled it in the coals and covered it and then when it was done everyone got a piece. It was so good. And then the morning when we were leaving, someone would provide a buttload of store-bought pastries like donuts, croissants, Danishes, like a _mountain_ of boxed pastries, so no one had to make any breakfast and we could focus on packing up. I would eat so many danishes and no one would tell us to stop, even our parents because it was just so many pastries they usually had to send some home with people.

@@sarahbarker2486 Some hostels in certain parts of Europe have absolutely freezing dorm rooms so i guess they are a good idea under those conditions but this particular idea originated from the English tudor period 4 poster beds whereby they would box themselves in with drapes during extremely cold weather to keep out draughts.
