Haven't posted in awhile but I've been busy tripping and editing. Next 7 day video should be ready for next weekend ❤ (edit) sorry I'm having technical difficulties with the video. I had a render banner in part of the video from editing and instead of cutting it in the KZread editor I made the entire video the 5 second clip of the render banner frames 🤦♂️ video should be up again in a little bit

Bro do it! Getting into hiking was the reason I gave up a 5 year opiate addiction, I relapsed like 6 months into it but never lost that itch to keep going so I went even as an addict, but finally after 10 years I'm sober. Thanks to the police for beating me, I got across the hump but that's another story. Just get outside!

My grandpa used to take me on fishing trips to Canada every year for about 10 years as a kid. These were some of my most cherished memories with him and really my whole childhood. Thank you for FINALLY doing an Algonquin trip. I love this place and you can even achieve the seclusion you're talking about if you go deep into the interior of Algonquin. I'm happy you enjoyed it and don't give up on it yet there are so many gems here even for the hardcore paddlers! And I'm saying that having done the Seal river, Missinaibi river, and the dumoine.
I really do enjoy the tranquility of nature seeing through your lenses. Really do appreciate the self- talk that you do to self-motivate yourself. It works! and that’s why your videos are so full of such a variety of great content. Thank you Xander! Can’t wait to see the Yukon!

Eze adventurer also did Yukon River I think. His videos are great.
Algonquin was my first interior camping experience about 25 years ago when I was a teenager and will always have a special place in my heart. It's also so big that despite going a few times it still feels like there's a bunch of stuff I haven't explored. I ran into a moose on a Portage there once lol. My most recent Algonquin trip followed a similar route you took on this trip. Those portages and landings onto the lakes brought back pretty crisp and vivid memories. Always love your videos. Thanks for another great one.
I admire your perseverance and love your beautiful footage. Thanks Xander!
love to see your videos! they actually inspire me and my wife to take more adventurous trips! keep em comming buddy
got all giddy when i got the notification, you're an artist bro, these videos are amazing, looking forward to this one!
I just wanted to say, watching this video this morning has made me super happy, not that I was unhappy, but I'm just excited about life more-so! You inspire happiness and really sucking the marrow out of life. Thank you for sharing your journey, you have a brother for life!
I think that your videos are helping me to love the dorky parts of myself, because I'm finding that my favorite parts of yours are the times when you ask people to chant your name, heckle your friends, or do a skit about being teased for having 'fishy feet' Always keep being you Xander. Your wholehearted silliness and passion for nature keep your videos on my gold tier list
Can't sleep without watching these videos. I absolutely love nature and hope I can be like you one day.
First Maxim, now Xander - it's going to be a great evening watching you both today!
Nice to see you back in your area. These are the best ones I believe. And it doesn't matter if you did take the same route either. Just love watching anything you do in your ears.

Hello from North Carolina. You never cease to entertain and leave me in awe of the places you have in your back yard in the great white north. Thanks for doing what you do.
Found your channel via your confab with the Baird's, been following them for years. I have noticed from going back and watching your older videos that now when you meet up or travel with friends it seems to bring out a positive energy in you that can be seen in your videos. As I head into my golden years I can relate as still today I get a soul recharge when planning a trip with friends as much so in the months and weeks leading up to a trip, communicating and planning, and the constant gear updates and sharing via text and meetups, up to and after the trip with like minded friends is better than any focused therapy in my case. The river, forest, wildlife and nature in general also makes me feel connected to the creator, whoever that may be for others, and throughout life during good times and bad, the outdoors has been my therapy, my place of worship, and has brought me through rough times. Look forward to new content, and hopefully more group sessions as that is where I can really relate, be it the support when hitting that class 3-4 and knowing that the group there will do everything they can to keep me safe, to making and breaking camp and the comradery that keeps a smile on my face and positive attitude, even when things get tough. The most important thing is to keep on keeping on, cliche as it is, I certainly hope you continue your adventures and throughout you find true peace.
What a wonderful Saturday to spend it with Xander😊👍🐟
LOL at the 'yellow tipped jaundice bird' you are the freakin' man.

Stay safe out there my friend 👍🇬🇧
One day, I decided to test my wild theory that canoes could unlock interdimensional travel. I built a special canoe, the "Dimension Hopper 3000," using old radios, a toaster, and a broken clock. I convinced my friend Lila, a botanist, to join me. We paddled upstream to the fog, and I pulled the toaster lever. Suddenly, we were swirling through a psychedelic tunnel, landing in a river with purple water, glowing trees, and bizarre creatures like opera-singing rabbits. "Barnaby, how do we get back?" Lila panicked. After some frantic attempts, we reversed the process and landed back home just in time for her conference. She gave me a look that said, "Never again." But I knew she secretly enjoyed it.
