I'm also obsessed with evolutionary psychology. I read that the reason why most people are nervous while public speaking, is because, 1000s of years ago, when human civilization was just beginning, and we were living tribally, the only time one person would be singled out, and held in front of a large group of people, was when we were being accused of something. Makes so much sense, doesn't it? ☺️

okay but evolution is genetic. The personal experiences of ancestors doesn't change their or our DNA. That is like saying giraffes evolved long necks because each ancestor kept stretching their neck to reach higher branches (which is a totally false misconception of evolution) Only DNA gets passed on so explanations of evolution have to be based on genetics, NOT on personal experiences or feelings felt by ancestors (even though they make interesting points).

You convinced me to join Audible! I have been listening to various podcasts and KZread videos on all different kinds of subjects from health and diet to history to true crime. When you mentioned how you take things in audibly so much better I realized I am the same way and I can get so much more done or enjoy doing things while listening. I took you up on the free 30 day trial and I’m so excited to start with FLOW! Please continue to give recommendations! Also, I would love to hear more on the subject of positive psychology.

I'm definitely reading "What everybody is saying", sounds very practical... to certain environments. Knowing the background of the author, makes me think that it all applies to a "western orientated" environment. I'm saying this because I lived in Japan for 4 years and the example that you explained about putting your hands in your pockets, whether half of your hand is out or not, in Japan is just rude, or at least that is my experience. So, I'm sure that all these books about body language, influence and so on are great (I know Carnegie's work and it is amazing), but when reading them is very important to take into account that they don't really apply in any sociocultural context.

Totally random but relevant thing I learned from a wedding photographer: When you put your hands in your pockets, if you keep your thumb outside of your pockets, it helps you avoid a kyphotic posture (forward rounding of the back and shoulders) by pushing your shoulders back a bit!

From the look of things and according to experts in the crypto space. This period the perfect time to buy the dip and accumulate irrespective of the bulls being under pressure. Bitcoin moving up is inevitable and would see the price of bitcoin surpass it's all-time highs. The reversal was imminent because obviously, the bitcoin market needed a correction to gather the right momentum to give the bulls more steam and this just makes it the perfect time to invest and accumulate as much as possible. However i see every market as an advantage to make more profits as this is a very good buy zone and also to trade with a working strategy/daily signals, this i have been doing with Mrs Maria Perez daily signals which has been so accurate and well profitable, Last month i was able to grow and accumulate a total of 6.8btc with my initial 1.2btc which you would agree is a very good profits. I see no reason to panic when you can build your portfolio with Maria daily signals and guides, Maria perez can be reached on Whatspp: +17739433486

There are so many that have influenced my life in different ways, but five that I can think of off the top of my head are: "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coehlo, "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" by Caitlin Doughty, "The Noonday Demon" by Andrew Solomon, "Women, Food, and God" by Geneen Roth, and "Welcome to the Monkey House" by Kurt Vonnegut. Different types of books than influenced you, but we are of course different people ;)

Oh! I just watched this video now and I realized that Mike mentions the 'Flow' book written by a Hungarian writer. I am a Hungarian, so it's really awesome actually. And his name pronunciation : Mihaly (ly= i ;like Mike)-> Mih(a)i ; Csíkszentmihályi (cs=ch,like Chace , sz=s, ly=ai/ i) -> Chiksentmih(a)i. Cause 'ly' is a Hungarian letter ,and in Hungarian ABC 'ly' is another J( what Hungarian pronunciation is a 'I', like I am and doesn't matter J or LY, it is matter just written (spelling)
