@@WittmanRecords It's true, I hate the way Google, FB, etc exploit our data to monetize it so I avoid contributing to that abuse. See you got a few more subscribers, thumbs up! I got a couple of questions, when using StageTraxx, where do you get the backing tracks? Do you get them via the app itself? REgarding the iPad holder, you attach it to the microphone stand, right? Isn't it too close just under the mic forcing you to look down instead of facing the public? I tried to checkpics of the setup on Amazon but am not sure what it is to play that way ...

Excellent video, thanks for the tips. Any chance in a future one you could explain a bit more about DI boxes? I know I’m probably being a bit dumb but I’ve never understood the reason for them. Cheers!

Hey man! Thank you! Sure I can explain some! It’s never a dumb thing to not know about something so I just wanna makes sure that I encourage you to ask any questions! I should really make a video about di boxes! The main reason is that it converts the signal from unbalanced to balanced It has a xlr output which goes to the mixer and basically makes the output “mic level” So makes the entire mixing easier! So called balanced.:) I think it’s a great way to make a nice clean mix without any noise and unwanted frequencies which are pretty common from coming trough your guitar for example And also for example it’s better to use your electro acoustic via dibox that makes it work better if you connect it this way to the board! If you have chance just get a passive dibox ;)

Thank you for video. I need an ipad for stage, for my music and lyrics..I just dont know nothing about the music program 😶 need some help here, whats best I pad to buy for stage so my music will sound perfect and of course need to know what music program should i use and viewing my lyrics. Hi! What I’ve been using for a long time now is Stagetraxx There you can use backing tracks and have lyrics shown that’s a really great program If you’re only need lyrics and chords maybe use the ultimate guitar app I do use that’s s well it’s amazing! I was doing hotels for 6 years/ shows and then 5 years At sea on various ships and for me was important to have a good reliable tablet! I had an iPad Air for a long time then a iPad Air 2 Not the mini that’s too small! The 9.7” it’s perfect and they have mounts for it! I hope this helps :)

Wow great News!!! Well for iBooks I used iTunes to have all my sheet there but after a while I was using and still use the ultimate guitar app cause sometimes easier to have only the chords and the lyrics so I change it up And of course in some cases I use pages As well

Well actually I don’t use pedals it works pretty well without it. I have a voice live play pedal for my guitar that’s all.

The background music is very annoying and very unprofessional, it distracts you from listening. If you remove it you will get more likes.
