This app sounds amazing. Also sounds like a lot of work but I've put in a lot of work on my current lyric all that I'm using right now and it certainly can't do all of the things you're mentioning here. Thanks for this video. I will check it out.

Thanks for the review. One thing that concerns me is the subscription services apps. What's to stop them from raising prices any time they want? I'd hate to put a ton of work into a platform and then be held hostage.

That's a fair concern. I can say however that I've been using this for years and it's never been more than $20.

great tutorial Tod!... one question: the app will be on your tablet together with the application? or do you have to be online to get the songs from the cloud? In this latter situation I envision issues at the venue (internetconnection etc). Thanks for all your excellent info!..

Ruud Jansen Sorry Ruud, I only just saw this question now. Yes all the info including recordings, documents etc will be within the app. Once you sync it with your connection it will stay in the app. If you make changes on the web interface you will need a connection to update to your iPad, but you only need to do it once. I hope that answers your question. Feel free to ask any questions re any of my videos, I’m only too keen to help. Keep on rocking!

Thanks for the info....is there a way to "highlight" some lyrics in band helper? I'm not real techy....and I've looked on you tube and the tutorials but have found nothing :-( Can anyone help? Thank you!!

Sorry for the delay mate. I'm sure you probably can in the default lyric viewer, but I use my own PDF's, so I can customise them to look however I like. I hope that helps.

Yes you can. You can import charts from places like Ultimate Guitar

@@wooddog7128 how to you import chord charts - I am thinking chord diagrams - I can import the chords in alpha numeric but not the chord diagram like you see in UG

@@Ian-kn7tj I'm not sure mate. I've never used it in that capacity. You can always take a screenshot and then just import as a pdf. If the song is longer than one screenshot then I will take multiples and then just join them in photoshop. You don't need multiple pages either. Just one long PDF and set the song duration. The autoscroll does the rest.

Any iPad works great. I use an old one. Cracked screen. Busted up. Still works great.

Hi MrPinkStrat I feel the same way - I'm dead set the same as you. Can't find the simple steps on HOW TO SET UP. Plenty of information on what the app can do but know HOW TO in a simple way. Have you had any luck. Regards Allan

@@promuso2121 I do understand there is a Need for an All singing All dancing Product, but at the same time it would be nice to have a Plain & Simple Product that just WORKS ( & it would be simple & Easy to Manufacture Too , A bit like Mobile Phones Some people want Every gadget every app there is Some people would Just like A PHONE

I get what you mean. But for a working muso in front of a live audience, you don't have the time to switch between apps. I've done that. You lose too much time. I guess if all you need is lyrics like you say, there's got to be something out there.
