I think locs that are not retwisted look so much fuller and prettier.

I have thin locs I love them but sometimes I would feel like they are a bit weird ..but now I don't think I will ever feel like that coz you motivating us people with dreadlocks makes me realize that I am perfect the way I am n the way my locs look like ❤😊...thank you so much , you just changed something in me ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I love you sis✨️👑

What an insightful video! I am 8 months in but I’m over it too. You have motivated me to semi free form for a while. I’ve always been a rebel naturally which is why locs we’re definitely a great decision for me. Thank you!

So glad I just watched this! I started my locs at the beg of Feb with two strand twist...and was about to get my first retighten after 6 weeks and then boom! - quarantine :( lol. I got here by typing how long can you go without retwisting haha. New subscriber and fan - I ma semi freeform now like you :) never liked the overly manicured look anyways. One Love xxx

I have locs but I plan on re-twisting every 2-3. Months at a time so I won’t be re-twisting every single month

Omg girl your beautiful with those thick locks I really love that look. Semi free form is the way to go but separating them is key that way they turn into one big Congo locks. But I want to semi free my next set of locks girl it’s the way to go. :)

Love the energy and knowledge I go 3 to 5 months without a retwist I just keep my scalp clean and doing nothing to them to open up with time and growth

Update, my locs are thriving, no retwists and wash every 2 weeks or less, no product and I’m in love with my hair.

you are inspiring 🥰 I have locs and want to make them thicker. you are right when they are maintained and your roots grow out....i say my hair is a fro with locs on the end because they are thinner than I would like, with all the new growth. i love my new grow, just wish my locs were thicker. i may start a whole new set.🤷‍♀️

You can retwist as long as you keep separating your locs after washing. Many people with thick locks retwist once a year.
