This man has a talent for not only shooting, but instructing.
You should do a video on your rifle, and some good lever actions for beginners to the sport!

Agree I’m curious as to who makes that rifle and what caliber it is

@@vladimirlopez7840 if I was to venture to guess it's a Uberti 1873 chambered in 38/357 looks like the one I own

@@lastinline000 agree mine is also an Uberti '73 but not the carbine. Bit heavier, bit longer but cycles well. Been slicked up a bit and a few thousand rounds through it now. Uberti seem what 99% use.
Really like. The fact that such an accomplished champion takes the time and effort to help others in the sport.
Can you make a video discussing all the modifications you’ve had done to all your revolvers/rifles/shotguns and the reasoning for each? Clearly see some modifications to the action of this lever rifle, wondering what and why
Tyler Henry: "I'm gonna develop a levergun you can load on Sunday and shoot all week." Deadeye: "I'm gonna develop a technique you can reload all week to shoot it all on Sunday." #Speedy
I'm new to Western Action and it has to be one of the most fun styles. Your videos have been watched and re-watched to learn how to do things better. Hopefully you do keep making videos as these are incredibly instructive and you're a great teacher.
You’re vids are awesome. I love the cowboy style. Most people I know seem to really put down the single action equipment for double act. Or auto loaders. Your vids are really fun and show a true skill
Thank you so much. I just bought a Henry and though I’m a former Marine I know nothing about Lever Rifles. You have helped me a lot.
I’ve fumbled maybe a hundred rounds in my lever action so far , thanx for the tips. It should help smooth out my fumbles.
New to the lever sport and fell in love immediately. Great tips! Thank you 🙏🏻
Immediately subscribed. Thanks for sharing and Greetings from Germany
thanks alot just got my henry 22lr and cant wait to use these methods
Great! Even though I have been doing this for around 4 years i always love seeing tips to increase speed. Thank you!
Very clear and helpful!
Thanks for another great video!!
Great to see another video.
Great job explaining!
Thank you for this. I don’t shoot competition but I do like to get the most out of my ole cowboy guns (my favorite kinds of guns) and I was always solid with a rifle with accuracy but running the lever gun quickly and more importantly smoothly was not a strong suit. I now have a few things to try and TRY to master lol. By the way you do a great job of breaking down the mechanics of the shooting as well as explaining the theory of it.
Very well presented and helpful! Thank you.
On point and clear explanation. Great video thank you.
Another great video. Thanks!
Glad to see new stuff from you, Partner! Your tipps are very helpful. Nice Video cut, nice scenes. Good work. Thanks for it

loved the video! Thanks for the free lesson 😁
I love your videos. Keep them comimg
Outstanding! I am SO jazzed to practice and incorporate what you've explained. BTW, your talent is phenomenal.
MAN that shooting is some next level💥💥
Interesting, just finished at the TSRA state match, rifle shooing was a bit poor, thought on some things, then re-visited this video. Confirmed some of my problems and helped me to understand my re-curring problems. Thanks for helping Deadeye!
A custom lever action. Haven't seen one of those before. Polished hammer, jeweled side plates, polished action, straight trigger, extra screw in the reciver to override the safety, and even the elevator is either highly polished or is gold plated.
Great post.! That rifle is EXTREMELY tricked out. My rifle does not even come close.. Lol
Dead Eye thanx for the intel, Salty Pawl.
Thanks for sharing congratulations on breaking 800 subscribers.
Well explained.
Big fan!
Great advice for any skill level. You’re a natural teacher. I just discovered this sport this year and I’m struggling with just finding gear. How about a video on gear selection for first timers in today’s market? My first step will be to join a club near me.
Good info 👍 thanks
Hey overall great information.
Sweet!
Subbed, great work.
Very nice for me. A would-be beginner.
Outstanding lesson. 🏆 Liked and sub’d
Amazing video, thank you #subscribed
Such a great looking rifle, would you mind sharing what it is and the modifications you've put on there (the main ones at least)? Thanks for the great tips too! 😃
Thanks
Realy good tips. Can you do one whit speed an triggertiming. That i realy need to learn. Thanx to you films i am under 25 sec now and my new gola is under 20 sec :) in september i have Shot cas a year. Thanx for the efford you puting in to do good films

My shots are looking better. Good tips
A good way to test these out for smoother aiming. Pick up a lever action based pellet rifle. This way you can cheaply and effectively sharpen up your aim with a real lever action rifle. And again a .177 pellet or bb is not as accurate as a bullet. But it will help you save on time and money when it comes to using a lever action rifle and planting shots.
Another great amazing Video!!!

Total novice, but enjoyed the content. Don't ever intend to be a competitive shooter but some of your tips still seemed useful anyway.

@@DeadEyeCowboyActionShooting that is awesome thank you... I know it is about the sport but your videos have helped me so much both with my homestead defensive shotgun and leaver gun... and soon my single action that is coming
Hey as someone wanting to get into this awesome sport where could I find rules/regulations on the guns needed/allowed in the majority of the clubs/competitions across the country? Like barrel length minimums and all the fine details like that? Also. Awesome videos can’t believe it took me this long to find your channel!
Keeping the elbow down on the arm actuating the lever would be a good beginner tip. Those actors in the cowboy flicks have em up, folks may duplicate it
@DeadEyeCowboyActionShooting

Mine is actually further out then most. To me, elbow position is a matter of how someone is built and how they can push the lever in a way that moves the rifle minimally.

@@DeadEyeCowboyActionShooting you may be slightly raised but it's still down... i don't see any worldclass shooters with it out 90 degrees like the movies

Great video just getting back to the sport myself. Just curious I see you have a custom trigger on your rifle, did you purchase or fabricate it yourself?
❤
gamers like this are the reason I quit Cowboy Shooting a dozen yrs ago. their 23yrs their influence took the fun out of it.
On the subject of rifles....Looking to get into CAS and was wondering if a henry big boy tube load rifle is A. Legal B. A good beginners choice??? Thanks for the great vid!!
Hey was just wondering where you got your rifle trigger from thanks
What revolvers or lever actions would you recommend
Could you show the lever and trigger technique slow and from the other perspective. Where is your trigger Finger while levering and when does it touch and engage the trigger? Thanks for sharing Greetings from Germany

@@DeadEyeCowboyActionShooting Thank you very much!
I wonder how much this gun was slicked for that speed :)
would you share which rifle you are using? T&C?
Is mineral oil based gun lube, good for the action?
Can you share load data for that fast shells? They sounds like low recoils light bullets.
muy lindo por favor subtítulos en castellano gracias saludos
👍🏼👍🏼
What rifle do you use typically
Where can I find the butt pads for my lever action rifle or shotgun? Thank you Dead Eye.
Try it with a 45-70
Which rifle should a beginner get? What needs to be done to it?

Most start with what they have but Marlins and 73's are most popular. A basic action job by one of our cowboy gunsmiths can make your hardware more enjoyable to use. Best to get out to a match in your area, you'll see all kinds of options as well as advise on the local gunsmiths.
Is this super short stroker???
How does a shooting lever action rifle so fast
morrrrrrrrre videos Deadeye
Did you mean to do S.O.S. when firing right before tip 1?
Does anyone know what model/OEM his rifle is?
Christ don’t let the ATF see you shooting like this they’ll want your arm due to it being a “bump stock”! Great tips..

The lever guns I have now are not ideal for this. I guess I need a new rifle.
This reminds me of how fast speedballer can shoot haha
